I mean I understand it's all subjective but I don't understand your reasoning for the Carbon. You said you are rating just based on how it looks in the game. But it's a recolor of an (according to you) A-tier skin and you're saying the color scheme is pretty dope, yet you say it's his worst skin?
I was mostly memeing during that part. It’s more of an inside joke that I don’t like that skin. Also I didn’t script this video so I didn’t really articulate my thoughts well, just mentioned things I had always thought about the skin. It wasn’t too serious and I just like to have fun. If you like the skin that’s perfectly fine. To elaborate on my thoughts of the skin: I think that the recolors are hard to judge because they’re all guaranteed to be subjective, however I do have some subjective gripes with the skin. I love the all black carbon fiber base that it has but wish it had a better LED color, which isn’t something I can convince anyone of- nor would I try to. It’s just my opinion on it 😂 I think it would’ve been cooler with a less basic and more experimental color, maybe a purple or the turquoise that Streetrunner has. So because of that personal opinion, it feels like a tiny bit of a “let down.” It’s all dumb reasoning and semantics, but I’m just having fun with it and didn’t mean any harm. I apologize if it came off that way. I appreciate you genuinely asking! :)
Yo, very clean editing! Thanks for showing actual footage of the skins when discussing them. And finally, someone who doesn't needlessly hate on Young Genji! I find the simple shurikens and white-orange-green colour combination to be quite soft and easy on the eyes. And Genji always had green highlights in his design, so having him colour his hair was a nice way to retain that aspect. Bonus points that it ties into the story + you can match it with the Young Hanzo skin. Also, you missed a very minor detail - Nihon Genji has the colour of his dragonblade trails changed in his highlight intros and emotes. Never understood why they changed it for this Epic skin, while many Legendary skins still have a mis-match between the colour of the blade and its trail.
I appreciate that, I work hard on these because I don’t typically like the tierlist videos that only show them moving stuff around in the list. I completely see where hes coming from with the mythic skin. The shurikens look really goofy but I hate the third color for him. His point on the customization is a plus but theg shouldve added shurikens costumization.
The reason the Sentai and Genjimann skins have bug eyes kind of is because they were not only inspired by power ranger (more specifically Super Sentai since it's the original japanese version which power rangers kinda copied everything from, the suits n evverythin) but it is also very much inspired by Kamen Rider, another series from Japan kind of similar to Super Sentai/Power Rangers where the masks usually look more bug-like. I also noticed you forgot to mention that they actually have different voice lines, they're very subtle but i think theres some things he says different but the most noticable is how he shouts when he dashes for example it sounds more exaggerated and how a sentai would sound like
yeah i did actually know that about this skin's origins, as well as the unique-sounding voice lines and sounds. I absolutely love their inclusion with the skins. i didnt script this video so there were many things i forgot mention that i subconsciously pick up on while playing, so i appreciate all my fellow nerds who remind me in the comments. thank you!
I really like the battle pass skin,but I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THE TIP. Only problem I had with it. I wish I got it but by the time I was one rank away the next battle pass came in.
