- The X-Men series which began way back in 2000 has left us with a bunch of characters who will be remembered for days to come. But there are plenty of awesome characters who are left out of the spotlight. From humanoid suns to mutant detectors, there were few impressive X-Men characters lost in time. Claws and magnetism can’t be the only things we take forward. So today we will be counting down the Top 10 most underrated characters from the X-Men Movies.
This list is just my opinion so feel free to let me know about your thoughts in the comment section below.

Emma Frost in the movie is a joke. We all know she is one of the strongest mutant. In the movie she was far weaker than she should be.
I still wish the writers of the X-men movies would’ve developed Jubilee’s character. Colossus and Gambit need their own movies. And, why have Sunspot instead of Sunfire?

Once upon a time long before xmen, he also had a role in 1998s Animorphs. That's where I remembered him from as a child

@@Chickennoodle72 to the kids 1998 is like 1978, besides they probably filmed it in 96-97 and didn't air till 98, TV/movies were a lot slower back then

Also like yeah to some extent Magneto was right. Mutants were treated horribly and expected to hide who they were if they could and Magneto and the brotherhood wanted change that. They just didn't have the best methods
I think he had the best method because there was never a peace offering with the humans; that was never their intent. The humans started the war with them by killing and experimenting on them. It's was only Charles Xavier who wanted to show the humans that mutants are friendly and that they both can live amongst each other. What the humans did was out of fear and even Magneto said this in his speech but you can't just punch someone in the face and expect nothing to happen and say oh I did it because I didn't want you to punch me in the face or I did it to keep the peace between us, you see how that sounds? Magneto initially never had anything against the humans until he saw how humans are and that's true, we do a lot of things out of fear and we fear the things we don't understand. Also its like what other choice did the so called bad mutants had? If the so called bad mutants would have did nothing, eventually they will all go extinct. Here's the fact in this: when the humans saw how powerful the mutants were, what they do? They built weapons to destroy them. Because they fear that one day they will go against them and of what they can do. The only thing Professor X was doing was saving the lives of the humans while mutants on the other hand dies. I'm on Magneto side on this one.
Rogue is really underrated

I still enjoy the X-Men movies even the most disliked ones that are my guilty pleasures. As for the future, glad at least Deadpool is making the MCU.
Nightcrawler and Blink deserves to be here !!
Blink is my one of my favorites! Loved her in Days of Future Past!!
Nightcrawler is slower and cant just decide to walk into a random bank vault. Blink can get to the Moon but Nightcrawler cant travel great distances like that. I'd say Blinks more powerful

@@tarync6539 yeah but blink has to walk through a Portal every time she wants to travel while nightcrawler can teleport without moving. So I would say Nightcrawlers Powers are better for fighting alone, and blinks Powers are better for supporting others and traveling.
@@adrian9420 So Blink is the more powerful. We watched her fight with the portals very successfully so id give her that extra point over nightcrawler. Question is Azazel more powerful than them both? He clearly has some kind of esp in order to successfully teleport anywhere without ending up in a wall or another person and he can teleport groups with ease
Seriously, Storm should be on the list. She's omega level but they never give her the justice she deserves but only some lightning strike.
Yeah she should be able to do anything when it comes to the elements and nature with her powers, but they only give her lightning and flying ability

Hopefully marvel will focus on those mutants and not the ones always focused on like wolverine. He’s good but there are so much more

Marvel does have a problem with that, in which they are slowly getting better with. They give too much of the spotlight to bigger name brand characters and all the amazing B-Listers are shoved to the side. The problem with this is once the big heroes have run their course, no one will be interested in the smaller heroes.
Some of my fav character in comic that didnt get much love or never appear in MCU :
- Jubilee
- Rouge
- Polaris
- Dazzler

actually mutants are not yet in the MCU except Professor X
What are you talking about? Jubilee was in 3 different X-Men movies. Almost 4. Polaris was in X2. Dazzler was in Dark Phoenix. And Rouge was a major character in the original 3 movies.
You forgot to say that Disney cancelled multiple man's and kitt pryde's solo movie and Fox didn't
I remember they were going to make a Gambit's movie but they cancelled it when Disney bought the rights. I was pretty excited to watch it :/

What I would love to see is a live action x-men show, I really enjoyed the cartoon one on DisneyXD. It would be so cool to see a live action show where they can introduce and go in depth on more characters from the comics

i would 100% have to agree with shadowcat aka kitty pryde being one of the most underrated x men. she was in the cartoons and she’s a key character in the comics. i love everything about kitty. i’ve always wanted her powers. although at times her powers can be harmless but yet still have one of the biggest impacts. love it. wish we would have gotten to her live.
I really wanted to see Darwin and Emma frost solo films, imagine how cool they're powers are 🔥🔥
gambit is my favourite x-men of all time, he was hands down the best part of the wolverine movie, john carter played him so well and it was so badass!!!

They could really make something cool from London X-Men. Team had Gambit, Archangle, Mistique, Proffesor X, Fantomex, Rogue, Psylocke, and Logan.
I don't know if you knew but pyro can fly he can Propel himself into the air it's an ability that he has called fighter jet when he goes into the air he shoots fire at the ground to keep them in the air just so you know
Warpath can fly as well, he just doesn't like to.
I’m pretty sure pyro did t die in the last stand he has just knocked out after getting head butted by a solid 8 inches of ice
I Definitely think there should be a movie starring all those who we rarely/barely see... and I felt that SUNSPOT should've had a bigger role and to have lasted longer in a fight! with superhuman strength and with the fire and heat of THE SUN! you would think he'd be alot more powerful! 🔥
But what about Darwin? I mean nobody would be able to withstand a nuclear meatball, so if he was actually able to fight longer, I bet he would have shown so much promise as one of Xavier's students, and remember, he was a good guy, he didn't turn to Shaw's side before he died, so I wouldn't have been be surprised if he would have been the one who stood the longest against the first x timeline strongest gen sentinels out of all other X-Men, or even being a different savior of the helpless seeming part of the fight with the all powerful apocalypse, as a good guy to the end. Under slightly different circumstances, he probably would have even been the hardest fighter against Shaw in First Class's final battle. He needs more credit. #JusticeForDarwin

half the mutants you mentioned are irrelevant and , knowing marvel the line up for x men will be : storm , rogue , jean grey , cyclops , kitty pryde & wolverine ( possibility : polaris , quicksilver )

Everyone seems to forget Polaris. Girl can literally control any type of metal and has just as much power as her father. However most of her power is untouched so she comes off as a weak naive girl who cant defend herself that well. Even tho thats not the case. I just wish the X- Men cinematic universe would introduce her and go into her storyline.

I wanna see a live action Gambit movie, there was supposed to be one with Channing Tatum, but it never say the light of day. Rogue also needs some love, because she was seriously thrown under the bus in these films, she was made really weak. Psylocke was also wasted in the movies. Another Mutant that was shat on was Jubilee...she was meant to play a pivotal role in apocalypse, but got removed from the final cut :/.
I hope they will return.

Iceman is an Omega level mutant. I do not think the movies did him justice. He is so powerful no living being could kill him. He doesn't even need a body to exist.

They messed up using mystique for the sentinels instead of Darwin. Mystique only changes her looks while Darwin actually adapted at a molecular level to survive anything encountered.
I agree. Plus, the way the describe how the sentinels are able to adapt to a mutant's power? That's pure Darwin, not Mystique. I don't know if it's true in the comics but in the movies and TV show, they're always going on about how Mystique isn't nearly as powerful when she shapeshifts into another mutant.

I don’t know if he counts as an underrated character, but I’d like to see nightcrawler’s backstory explored a lot more in movies. There’s a lot of lore there that hasn’t been touched in any of the films yet.

Taylor Kitsch as Gambit makes sense, it stinks we never got a Gambit standalone film.
I always thought Kitty Pryde, Rogue, Iceman love triangle was stupid.....Rogue definitely got the shaft in the Singer movies.
I like Anna Paquin as an actress and she performed what was written for her well, but I wish they would have made Rogue an adult character, rather than the "runaway teen".
When you are so damn underrated that you don't even make it to the underrated list 🤣
