    Never knew placement is that important. Thx alot bro! Anyway, i got a question regarding clear revive once, can it be resisted like SS ult clearing charge? Thx!

    • @destrojenra841
      @destrojenra841 Год назад

      I do not believe that clear revive once is an effect that goes through a focus/resist check as I've not had it be resisted even in some situations where a low character was facing a much higher character. However, I have not specifically tested this. So I do not claim this is absolutely the case.

    Great insights fellas !
    Do the positioning slot numbers dictate the order of when passives trigger in ALL teams or just Underworld?

    • @destrojenra841
      @destrojenra841 Год назад +1

      This is something that would impact all teams. It's just not a noticeable on other teams since there aren't as many teams/characters that have passives or abilities that play off each other in such quick succession.
      Another example is the BA bug that was found recently between Hulkbuster and Viv Vision. You want VV's passive to resolve after HB's. So their placement is critical in that same regard. Although theirs triggers on dropping below 50% hp rather than on spawn.
      We are trying to look into any other potential teams/characters that may have useful positioning like what was found here, but it's a bit of a manual process.

  • @TheRajunKajun

    just to be clear, are the number indicated here 1-5 when the passive order for the team or the game in general? curious because that would also change up how bionic is placed too, no?

    • @destrojenra841
      @destrojenra841 Год назад +1

      This is the order in which all characters/teams will resolve their passives. It's just that not a lot of teams have passives/abilities that both have the same triggering condition and can potentially build or play off of each other. So it's not as noticeable for other teams.
      As for Bionic Avengers specifically, you want to take advantage of this by placing Hulkbuster to where his passive resolves before Viv Vision. The difference in placement here will be that when Hulkbuster goes below 50%, if his passive resolves first and he had taunt, he will give offense down to the entire enemy team which is what you want. However, if Viv Vision's passives resolves first, she will give stealth to Hulkbuster when he drops below 50%. Since stealth clears taunt, the offense down potion of his passive will not trigger even if he had taunt at the beginning of that turn because he will not have taunt when his passive resolves.
      Edit: I accidentally hit the submit button halfway through my response.

    So does Mr. Negative go in the same slot as the Merc Lieutenant or does he go in position 1 (the empty slot at the end of the video)? Love your videos, keep up the great work!

    • @DorkyDadMSF
      @DorkyDadMSF  Год назад

      Really the only important placement is taskmaster in the very last slot. To avoid any confusion I mean the last slot the game fills on the far left.

    Nice video as always, I am getting back to this 'cause I am building my UW now, so is this still valid? I am getting 700 turn meter as opposed to 800 that you said on this video, so what am I missing? Any t4 that I have to do to get 800? Positioning is just like you showed left to right - TM, GG, MN, KP and Nobu. Thanks for the awesome work as always!

    • @DorkyDadMSF
      @DorkyDadMSF  Год назад +1

      Hmmm no so long as TM is far left you should be good! That’s very weird if you’re not getting the max speed.
      Edit: looks like I may have misspoke and that 700 is the max not 800. So if you position it improperly you could get 500 or 600 based on TM positioning.

      @@DorkyDadMSF Perfect, yes I tested a couple of times with diff positioning and manually picking the characters and the turn meter gain does go down so I definitely get 700 now so should be fine. Thanks a lot

  • @deadmanrashaun

    Peace King. Question for ya.. Why not put Taskmaster in the middle, replace Merc Lt with Bullseye Bullseye left of Taskmaster? He'll give Task speed up on Spawn which will allow him to Ult twice in 3 turns & continue to allow him to keep attacking. Just a thought... 😉✌️

    • @destrojenra841
      @destrojenra841 Год назад +1

      There's two parts of your question that I'd like to address.
      First, if we put Taskmaster in the middle, his passive will resolve first before Kingpin's, and that will give us less turn meter than if we have Taskmaster in a spot lower in the resolution order than Kingpin.
      Second, as to replacing Merc Lt. with Bullseye, I think you might be confusing Bullseye's passive with another character, but off the top of my head, I cannot think as to whom. I went back to look at Bullseye's passive and the rest of the Mercs, and none of them give speed up on spawn. Bullseye gives accuracy and crit damage. Plus he assists Mercs on non-attack abilities while on war def. In the meantime while Mr. Negative is unavailable to us, any Merc Villain could be substituted for Merc Lt., but I do feel that Merc Lt. well benefit Taskmaster and the group as a whole better than any of the other Mercs.

    but ALL cc said they are underwhelming

    • @destrojenra841
      @destrojenra841 Год назад

      I think it's mostly going to vary for each player's roster and how much you value war. This certainly doesn't feel like a team that every player needs to build immediately, but I'm seeing a lot of positive impact from them from a lot of players that are war focused. I personally decided to work on them a bit because I've already built Taskmaster pretty high, and for the moment, he carries this team pretty hard. Plus I have all the other characters at 7*. I'm also seeing a lot of people have success with a Spider-Weaver variant until we get Negative, Noir, and 2099.
      Regardless, the biggest thing to take away is that if you're going to use them, this will give you the information you need to know to maximize their effectiveness because an additional 10 or 20% turn meter on spawn could potentially make or break a fight because speed is king.
