    im primarily a mid range 2 motion jump shooter and i love the pull up. but for some reason, specifically in deeper range spot-ups I'll shoot 1 motion. I know its not uncommon to do both 1 & 2 motion like that but I feel like days where I feel a rhythm shooting threes and I'm shooting a fluid one motion, i lose my 2 motion mid range pull up- and days where my 2 motion mid range pull up are on lock, my three point shooting and range goes down. its like my game leans towards a moving shot creator vs a spot up sharpshooter depending on whichever jumpshot my body gets into rhythm more that day.

    • @zehluhs
      @zehluhs 5 лет назад

      -chase idk I think you should still get on more reps for both because I have seen many videos recently saying that you should be able to do both, two motion for mid range and 1 motion for 3s.

      Trap Kid yeah, i’ll be in the gym alone not realizing i should practice both because im making my shots so its not like im thinking about an issue in my shot since its goin down. Gotta do that one steph challenge he did with the kids. Somethin like: three, pull up, stepback, repeat

    How much backspin do you need in your shot? I feel like I get too much because my shot falls short.

    • @watsupboi5732
      @watsupboi5732 5 лет назад +2

      Same i been looking at my shot and noticed the ball ain't spinning its not like i wasn't hitting shots i was doing great but i read that if you want to get higher chances for your shot to go in you need to back spin ot because that way if the ball hits the rim or the board it makes it easier for it to go in, but ever since i started spinning it the ball just doesn't go in I airballing it like a ton, i hope its just all about muscle memory and reps and it'll all work out once i get used to the spin

    Can somebody help me please. I’m 12 years old and I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember. I have a very consistent shot usually. I average 20 ppg 3apg and 8rpg. I usually get almost all 20 points from driving to the hoop if not all 20 points I would have a few free throws made. I competed in a freethrow competition and made 23/25. I don’t usually shoot midrange in game but practice it A LOT and randomly my arc has been going across my body and my shot has been feeling awkward. Any Help?
