Thats the problem. People want love and not the work that goes into it. Thats why we say those cliche's. SO we can still beleive in the feeling of love, and none of the hard work or responsibilities that comes with it. There aint no love. I had a friend who was a counselor, she informed me that many pastors' wives would call for counseling due to the stress and unrealistic expectations that are placed on them. Sadly, people judge even when their own lives are a mess. These are the people who use the cross that Jesus died on for our sins as a sword to stab others.

You said she is a beautiful woman that anyone would do anything to be with her, but you did not mention that Devon himself is an extremely handsome man who any woman would love to be with just as much. Now, I don't think they were faking the relationship. We all have been in serious relationship, and some of us in serious relationships that didn't survive and we all know that before it is truly over and comes to a final end the two try to work it out a million times, and in the end one tries to work it out more than the other. In the end one of the two still has love for the other. There is more to this story that we don't know for sure but I don't believe they fakes anything. I don't know if that was the case, but I agree that he would take the blame. Above all things and flaws he is a gentleman, always has been. And has always taken the heat for her and defended her against all odds and against the world criticizing him for doing so. In loving her he had to fight the critics of the family, the church, the industry and half of the world. It was him against the world defending the love. Hard battle he had on his hand, if it is hard for us all as regular humans and less eyes and pointing fingers on us, imagine how hard it was for them. But one thing is for sure, the word itself says God does not give us more than we can take/handle. He always put his life and reputation on the line for the one he loved. One thing we have to keep in mind and understand is that the call is giving before we are even form in the womb of our parents. Now how we live and behave determines what comes next. The calling is God's gift given to me, now what we do with the calling is our report to him. Going back to moises he had the promise of coming into the promise land, but because he disobeying in one way (although he obeyed in thousands of others) but because he did abide to God's request he lost his promise, and another was sent to the land instead of him (this was Joshua). Same with King Saul, he had the blessing and promise of God of ruling the nation as king, but because he did not follow instructions exactly as God ordered him Saul lost his kingdom and promises. There we had Adam and Eve, they were created to live eternally, comfortably, and without pain, suffering or sin of any kind..but because Eve did not abide to obedience and Adam followed her, they lost their blessings and promises and many curses came on them, their children and the children of their children after that. What people don't seem to realize is that Devon is a Christian and a pastor, Meghan is an actress and not a Christian. The bible clearly says that light and darkness cannot dwell together. Those ladies were mad that a "non-church" going lady married a man that has his position at church. I put non-church in quotation commas as I and them don't know if she attends church or not. I have perceived her as someone with a good heart and faithful to the Lord. She had actually mentioned in their interview with Oprah that she is a Christian but not as disciplined as Devon. To me, a loving and kind heart, matters more than attending church regularly🙏.

That's not true. God gives us his perfect Will and then his permissive Will. We have our own Free Will that often falls outside of God's Will for us. He very well could have brought them together, perhaps they just didn't do enough work.
How do you assume she wasn’t religious. I worked with her on set before they even got together and she was religious. She said a powerful prayer before we started and shared how important God was in her life.

I won't say she was not religious, but being religious and being a believer are to different things. Even the devil prays, remember the devil himself was created an angel of light and he himself decided in his heart to become something else. Being religious implies practicing religious habits which anyone can do, being a believer means submitting to the word of God, his will and living accordingly and to his words. Is a total transformation in a person's life and complete submission when it comes to spirit, heart, mind, body and soul. And I share this with you not to say that she is not religious but to enlighten you in the fact that looks and habita can be deceiving, demons pretend to be holy and sometimes holier than a believer. It takes discernment in the Holy Spirit to recognize them. And to see the fruits they bear in the spiritually wise for all that we see comes from the unseen.

In my experience with God, He tends to have more grace, kindness, and understanding than the people supposedly speaking on his behalf.

I think you handled this beautifully. Being a pastor's wife it's difficult even for those who are called into the office and carry the grace to endure it. In order to walk on the straight and narrow you have to die to self that is the sacrifice and she will have to be willing to do it because it's a requirement not from man but from God. There's also spiritual warfare and if she's not willing learn how to fight in the spirit Realm then things like this happen. I also agree with those who say it was equally yoked. A lot of us has been there Nobody's Perfect. But I do believe they could have made it but the submission wasn't there not to man but to God. God is conditional he's loving but he can be a little tough sometimes. He's Our Father. As it is written choose ye this day whom you will serve. I agree with you 100% Misstee!! His ministry as well as others, tried to change her the second they realized that he was actually going to marry her. She tried so hard and it didn't take long before you could really notice that Meagan was beginning to seem sad, almost defeated. She's such a sweet, genuine, very beautiful person inside and out. There's too much jealousy going on in the ministry and I think it made her unhappy, depressed and like she almost tried to make herself as unattractive as she could just to avoid the comments and rude suggestions. I had a friend who was a counselor, she informed me that many pastors' wives would call for counseling due to the stress and unrealistic expectations that are placed on them. Sadly, people judge even when their own lives are a mess. These are the people who use the cross that Jesus died on for our sins as a sword to stab others.

Now, I don't think they were faking the relationship. We all have been in serious relationship, and some of us in serious relationships that didn't survive and we all know that before it is truly over and comes to a final end the two try to work it out a million times, and in the end one tries to work it out more than the other. In the end one of the two still has love for the other. There is more to this story that we don't know for sure but I don't believe they fakes anything. Even extremely compatible couples end in divorce.

But like you said, we have to watch out for the devil, as the word says he is out to only kill, steal and destroy. Once he is in, he takes over. We have to watch out and not open any gaps to him. And yes, we the believers have to pray for them, because they already have it hard with the critics and the million fingers pointing at them. But we have to pray for the will of the Lord to reign in their lives. I don't know if that was the case, but I agree that he would take the blame. Above all things and flaws he is a gentleman, always has been. And has always taken the heat for her and defended her against all odds and against the world criticizing him for doing so. In loving her he had to fight the critics of the family, the church, the industry and half of the world. It was him against the world defending the love.

I agree with you 100% Misstee!! His ministry as well as others, tried to change her the second they realized that he was actually going to marry her. She tried so hard and it didn't take long before you could really notice that Meagan was beginning to seem sad, almost defeated. She's such a sweet, genuine, very beautiful person inside and out. There's too much jealousy going on in the ministry and I think it made her unhappy, depressed and like she almost tried to make herself as unattractive as she could just to avoid the comments and rude suggestions. I feel very sad and heartbroken for her and I pray that she finds herself and her happiness again very soon 🙏💕🦋

They both are beautiful people, but I'm surprised it lasted 9 years! Meghan's struggle with being a "first" lady of a church didn't go well for because of her choice for attire! Ladies, being a baddy or a very good looking woman doesn't = long relationship, it's the opposite because ,you always going think you can do better. That is self sabotage. Here is my advice.
1. you look good to attract a guy, but it is your responsibility to keep him.
2.No man wants his wife to dress very revealing to expose her body parts, especially when she is married and in public
3. No man wants to see his wife kiss or make out with random guys in movies over and over again
4.No man wants his wife to brag about the different guys(celebrities) that she slept with, it's embarrassing, ask Kanye West
5.A man will always say his wife is the more beautiful, it's a sign of respect, BUT the woman should say her husband is the leader of the relationship, it's a sign that you respect your man.
