Hi. Thank you for your comment. Please isolate the unit from mains power supply and allow sufficient time for all moving parts to stop before replacing your filters.
Help please. I have the 1.65 Q Plus ECO model (RH). I cannot work out which side the shorter filter needs to be in and secondly whether it should be closer or further to the opening if that makes sense. The stickers on my unit appear opposite to all titon stickers i've seen online. Are the stickers manually stuck? I am second guessing myself so please appreciate any view as I'm sure there is a definite correct answer!
Hi Shonil - the shorter filter needs to go in the top left with the hole towards the back of the unit. Please contact marketing@titon.co.uk if you have any further questions. Many thanks
Hello, I've got the mvhr q plus 1.65 eco RHS. Is there any situation where the shorter filter goes in the right hand side filter door and the longer on the left? My arrows point to shorter on the left but the apartment gets extremely dusty this way even with new filters. I tested the other way and somehow it was better. Confused .
Hi, How often should these filters be replaced? I mention that my system works 24/7. The system was installed in 2019 and since then I have not changed the filters. Thank you.
Hi Thank you for your comment. It is increasingly important to maintain the performance of your mechanical ventilation system. One of the ways to ensure that your system is operating correctly is by checking the filters within the unit. Filters should be replaced at least annually, or more regularly dependent on environmental conditions. We do offer a filter reminder service. All you need to do is tell us your MVHR unit model, when you purchased it, or last changed your filters, and we’ll remind you when it’s time to change them. Here's a link - www.titon.com/uk/filter-reminder-service/
Apart from changing filters, is there anything else that a service would include? Happy to change filters myself, so just trying to understand where the cost comes form with a service.
Hi Luxor, Thank you for your comments and sorry about the delay in replying. A service would be able to make sure that your unit is running efficiently and correctly. Checks would be carried out on airflow, ducting, fans etc. If you go to www.titon.com/uk/find-my-installer/ (UK only) you should be able to locate one of our preferred partners who can assist you more. Regards Titon
Hi. This is a bit of a long shot - I live in a flat thats about 8/9 years old and has a HRV1 Q plus system installed. I’ve been here 1.5 years and have not changed a filter and presumably no else has changed the filter for a good number of years. I’m getting daily hay fever like symptoms all year round which I never had prior to living here. I’m basically trying to narrrow down why but a thought occurred to me - if the filters have never been replaced, could it now be pumping out mould spores? Is that possible? Just a thought, I might be wrong but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi Matt thank you for message. The HRV unit is one of our older units and I suspect it would need a service just to check that things are working correctly. If you go to www.titon.com/uk/find-my-installer/ you will be able to find your local service maintenance company that can assist you. With regard to the issue with filters, I would probably recommend you check to see if the filters are still in there, you can either wait for service company to assist you, or you can check via out youtube vide link (ruclips.net/video/vjF3ShhdrlE/видео.html&ab_channel=TitonUK). Please remember to switch the unit off before attempting to check inside the HRV unit. If you need further help, please email us at marketing@titon.co.uk.

Do we need to switch off electricity when changing filters in the model with 'Filter Covers'? Please advise.
Thanks for the video with instructions
