I LOVE garden tours! Gardens are always a work in progress because of different life cycles, garden mistakes, changing interest, and ITS ALL educational! It’s so good to see different plants in different stages of life, and to hear a gardener speak of changes and the reasons for them. Love it!! Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful garden. I’m still working on mine and I’ve lived here since 95! Lolol. And you always have to factor in work, life, bad weather years, all of it.

This was refreshing! Thank you to Maria for sharing her garden. I so appreciate her sharing successes and failures. I think we all have areas where some things work and some don't. We've had to cut down several trees too and it changes your skyline. So you just adjust. It was great she had a before photo to share. You really appreciate all they've done. Beautiful property! I hate to disagree with you, but the area with the variegated plants together is very pleasing to the eye for me. It is so soft and calming to look at. I know you are suppose to plant like blue, green, yellow, and red tones together but I think the variegated area is beautiful. I wouldn’t have thought I would have liked it but I love it ❤❤. Thank you for letting us tour your beautiful landscape, awesome job.

I ❤ pecan trees. My grandmother had 3. She died when I was about 26, and so her home was sold. I did not know that pecan were expensive. She had old producing trees that produced enough for her grand kids to expect that everybody just snacked on pecans.

I own so many of the featured plants and love seeing how Maria and Jamie have placed their plants and there were many that I also own but didn't make the mention. Fun for me to see them. The raised beds were wonderful too as my little 4X8 garden bed needs to be replaced next year and I've been looking for others. I'm so restricted by the HOA that I definitely have garden envy. Thanks to all.
