- The Berkley Finisher is a new bait on the market designed as a FFS optimized lure. This bait isn’t quite a Jerkbait, it’s got properties that can be similar to a jigging bait but the fact is this thing really moves and looks great in the water! Check out today’s Underwater Wednesday episode and see for yourself!
Great video, I love seeing the underwater videos
Thank you and thank you for watching!
Finally, a channel that says it fouls. Easy to see. There is a way around this tho. In fact, there is a way around the entire lure. Ordered some to see for myself regardless.
Thanks man.
Great info. Thanx I appreciate it
Thank you for tuning in and commenting.
This is on my list to get, really liked the action. Great video as always. A always be safe out there.
Thanks Jessie. I agree this is a bait to get and experiment with a little bit. It just looks TOO GOOD in the pool.
I’ve had a few of these since they were first available but I haven’t had the opportunity to use it 🤷🏻♂️ I’m definitely glad to see your video and underwater clips👍🍀🎣🍀
Good luck with it buddy. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great underwater footage! It didn't take me long to understand that this bait is for clear water. I wish it had some small rattles inside.
I've been experimenting with the bait in off-colored water by adding a tiny willow leaf spinner to the rear treble hook. I used a small swivel, and some small silicon tubing, and slid it over the hook. I haven't experienced the hook fouling so I guess I wasn't overworking it.
I like the tinkering ideas you have tried. It’s funny you mentioned rattles. The first thing I did when I took it out of the box was shake it to see if it rattled. I was a little disappointed. Thanks for the comment!
I was fishing it last week on lake griffin I wanted to see how they were going to work found out they can be fished shallow but your moving rod tip pretty quickly to keep off the bottom the smaller one works best to the 15 the bigger one I would say would be good deeper gets down fast
Great video! I like the bait except for the fall rate. I don’t think the ,drop like a rock, action will increase strikes
Thank you for your comment on the video. We really appreciate you. I agree with your opinion about the fall rate of the bait but it does catch fish as it’s retrieved and it really works well jigging it vertically.
man that looks good underwater! I surmise that when I get the opportunity to pick one of these up they will be sold out !
Ha! Isn’t that the way it always is?
Have you tried a stiffer line?? It may stop the line from catching the hooks….
Floro ahead of line sinking is a big issue catching hooks just saying......,.Ya don't have that luxury avoiding line and pull slack forward like Jerkbaits.
@FrankSancimino-pp9nr that’s a very good point Frank. I wonder if using mono would be a better option?
This is going to be a killer bait for walleye. I cant wait to give this a try out on Green Bay this summer. Lots of hype on this bait.
Oh I can definitely see that !
For summer time it will be for sure.
So far I’ve caught smallies, largemouth, walleye, and crappie on it!
What is the fall rate? Thank you
It falls very fast. Depending on your bottom content, I either let it fall to the bottom and then work the bait or if the bottom has weeds I start moving the bait quickly after it hits the water.
Loving the content from MF Square 👍MF =More Fishing, More Facts🤪😜
Daniel, I’m seriously considering hiring you as our official P.R. Manager! Love the ideas!
Subscribed 🤙🎣😊
Thank you!
It seems a lot like slow jigging. Has anyone tried slow jigging for bass in 15-30 feet of water
I saw some footage of someone fishing this bait in 30-40 ft for smallmouth.
so.. its a fresh water gotcha plug =)
Exactly!
She is so cute 😊
I think so too
Ice fishing🤔
Almost right?
A little too big and too much movement? I don’t know don’t do too much ice fishing
You're only impressed if you don't know fishing.
Not sure if you’re throwing shade on the bait itself or that the bait is similar to some other baits and therefore I shouldn’t be that impressed with it. Care to elaborate?
@@markfisheroutdoors Yes, other lures can do this better. For example BR Fish with no hangups. There are others, I have elaborated enough to get you thinking.
