One of the interesting yet simple factors is that a few powered features don't work if the accessory battery is low on power or not holding power. Features lik3 steering wheel height lowering as you turn ignition on.
Another beauty with lots of accessory power, is aim key fob at drivers door lock and holding the unlock button and the folding roof will lower.
If it doesn't do it, again your accessory battery might be low on power.

Holding the recirculation button doesn't seem to drop the windows though, unless you have first lowered them manually and used tunnel mode.
You can also drop all of the windows from the outside with the key, point it at the little black dot on driver side door handle, and hold the unlock button.
Same with lock button raises all windows.

Can you tell me where I can find the start/stop shifter? Maybe a Link or name?
If your car is before 2004 it may or have this, you'll need to get the module to set up the start stop from shifter. But for just the shifter I would try eBay or used car breakers

@@GrooveOn True, was also being a bit facetious. I actually just bought a 2009 SL63 but as a Swiss import (I live in NL) it came with a German manual. I downloaded a pdf copy from MB UK website and just had a hard copy printed in the high street- it’s like a replica an probably the same price as ordering one (if they’re in stock!). I just read it cover to cover and saw these points in your video.
New subscriber , love your contents, I have the same car as you on a 56 plate, the only issue I have is the panoramic blind don’t shut , it doesn’t seem to attach to anything so recoils back to its original position, any advice ?
Hey nice car, yeah, I had the same issue with my bind, can't quite remember how I fixed it. When you press the two buttons see they still feeling like they have a spring? It's the front part that latches on the side rails

How do I get my mirrors to fold when I lock my 2003 Mercedes sl
It's in the settings, then go to convenience menu options for dipping reverse mirror and folding on locking mate

Hi my rear quater window won't open all I can hear is a click on that side everytime I try to open it what can it be? Btw the same switch controls the front which works
So is it one side rear quarter that doesn't work? First can you use the driver's switch to make it open? Also can you press and hold the remote by pointing at the door lock to open the window? What I'm trying to find out is if the window is at fault or switch?
@@GrooveOn the switch only opens the front passenger it won't open the passenger rear..
The drivers window front and rear work on the switch
When I press the switch the front passenger goes down then when I press again for the rear passenger all I can hear is clicking sound on the rear passenger
@@Amg641 so it sounds like if you can lower both windows form drivers side the window motor is good. Could just be the door switch. If you press the door switch and hold down does it work with both windows?
@@GrooveOn one switch is for front passenger + the rear passenger but only the front passenger goes down with that switch

The drivers side switch works fine. My roof wont open because of the rear passenger window. I will try both at the same time but I'm pretty sure all windows go down besides the rear passenger if I press both switches
