Today a brand new Norwegian AF NH90-ASW came in at MVK De Kooy for a fuelstop. It was on its way from Belgium to Norway for its delivery to the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

Deze video hebt u 4jaar geleden gepost, las in de week na de Pinksterdagen dat er problemen zijn met de NH 90 helicopter en dat een luchtmacht de nog te leveren machines heeft geannuleerd. Weet niet meer welke luchtmacht en welke website en blad. Groet uit Zandvoort.
Dat zijn de Noren Roelof, hier vanaf internet: "Noorwegen heeft het NH90-helikoptercontract beëindigd, daarbij verwijzend naar het onvermogen van de aannemer om vervangende componenten te vinden voor sommige kritieke systemen, waaronder enkele die nodig zijn voor de anti-onderzeeëroorlogvoering van de NH90. Noorwegen zal alle helikopters terugsturen en een volledige terugbetaling eisen." Gelukkig heb ik deze Noorse NH90 tijdens zijn afleveringsvlucht nog kunnen filmen destijds 😊👍. Groeten terug.
One of the greatest scandals in Norwegian coastguard. Almost none are working, and still after many years, just a few are delivered. Have to hire other helicopters just to optain planned operations.
I've heard it on the news here in the Netherlands about hiring helicopters by the norwegian coastguard.

Problems with the NH90 in Australia as well. There seems to be a general problem in the purchasing system within the Australian Armed Forces!

Which is better between nh90 and UH60 M ??
I'm not an expert in this, can't give you an answer to your question.
nh90 more modern more room inside better in many ways but has some problems with parts availability uh60 older proven and used almost every where but starting to get old.
@@randoko9342 i wanted to compare it with the latest version of the UH60 which is the UH60 M .... At the end my country purchased the UH60 M 😂
@@Morsizaneti Im not that caught up on the uh60m that i could speak for the specifics but almost all of the points remain nh90 is more modern with more modern desing and composite construction but i would say that they are both great machines uh60m having most likely better parts availability
@@randoko9342 yup i absolutely agree ... But i think the Mike version is advanced as much as the NH90 ...i talk about Technology of course 👍👍

I’d rather have a Merlin.
It is said that Sweden already faces these helicopters out due to unacceptable costs of operations. Norway has a decaying economy, but does not care about costs of anything, and this is not the only example.

Akkurat idag sto en artikkel i VG om at leveransene er betydelig forsinket. Bare 6 er levert og disse er for det meste plassert i garasje, Når de har vært i luften har det nesten bare vært for testing i forbindelse med innfasingsarbeidet som går meget tregt idet det er uforholdsmessig vanskelig. Riksrevisjonen avga nylig en meget kritisk artikkel herom. Nå er det gått 10 år siden de først skulle leveres og snart er de vel foreldet også. Dette sies det ikke, men tanken er nær.
@@knutholt3486 Det var ikke det jeg var uenig i, er fullt klar over situasjonen kystvakten og sjøforsvaret er i nå, det jeg mente var at Norge ikke er en fallende økonomi, og at vi ikke bryr oss om prisen på materiellet vi kjøper inn.
@@AugmentedGravity NH90 flies well in Finland though. I know the money is tight everywhere, but what else then? Norwegian air force bought F-35 :)

@@jamesdepotter6 norwegian airforce bought these 10 years ago and they are not delivered yet. The ones that are delivered, are not operational usefull for training only. The maintenance demands are 10 times higher than promised at delivery. So yes its useless.
