A400m, NH90, it seems as if EADS isn't quite good at producing military stuff I just read an interview with EADS boss Tom Enders and he said that the a400m is going to turn out to be a bestseller.Well, I hope he's right cos the Bundeswehr needs them badly
They suffer from constant need of maintenance. The older mi-8´s faced the end of their service time and none is in service anymore. NH-90 is pretty good, but most of them are in hangars because stuff breaks down all the time. Old saying: "never buy Mark 1" holds true. At least we finally got all of the ordered choppers delivered to us. We would´ve been better off ordering Blackhawks instead though.

I'd like to know how you Finnis guys rate the NH 90.Here in Germany we have only problems and fucking delays.How about yours? Is it top or flop?

Well the NH90 replaced MI-8 in Finnish service. I think a couple stubborn spec ops units till use the MI-8 but then again...who knows. :)
