I got this box about 2 months ago, yes you can upgrade the charge controller, you dont even have unplug the old one, the 50A port can be used took up more powerful solar panels, as long as you plug the desired solar controller in the middle, I upgraded to victron 100/50, didnt unplug anything, im using the gray 50A port to recharge the battery.
what I can't test is, having both ports using solar, I can confirm that 1 port with solar and 1 port with an AC/DC charger both combine their watts to charge the battery faster.

Yeah I believe 280-300Ah is the largest capacity battery that you can fit in the box so it is limited. I appreciate your comment! Thanks for watching. :)
If you build a 280 or 300 Ah with Eve cells similar to the ones Licitti sell then there’s more room as there’s no plastic case
This unit has some pros and cons. It’s got more potential output which is great. I like the inverter and the shunt capability / screen. However it’s limited on connections compared with the 1000 Watt Battery Box Licitti sells. That and the limited 20 amp MPPT solar charger makes me hesitate on pulling the trigger. If it had two AC outputs and all the Anderson connections the other unit has with a 30 amp to 40 amp MPPT solar charger I’d buy it in a blink ……. It needs a version 2.0 …. Are you listening Licitti ?
The con is u pay for it they charge your cc and then dont ship it or even respond to ur emails, they did it to me, 2 weeks of emails no response!
@@Nunyabusiness539 to be fair that’s not the experience I received. Licitti shipped my unit quickly and they did respond to most of my e mails. However I had to be persistent emailing to get the answers. My unit was very well packaged and is excellent quality. If they responded to email quicker I’d have no issues with these guys at Licitti at all.

How can I run a Blue Seas DC distribution box in a small trailer while charging box using Anderson port? I wouldn’t want to use the 12v cigarette as that is limited to 10A and ideally I’d like 25A minimum to the DC distribution box?
Also, how loud is it?
