I find it weird to describe a beaten up, neglected, exposed, broken etc. building beautiful. But it IS beautiful! Your work is amazing. It is stupendously realistic
You don't need Photoshop. In one of my father's model building magazines (ca.1990), they showed tons of pictures by one guy. Expertly crafted aircraft models and photographed outside, on a nearby airstrip. Only perspective, lighting and attention to detail.
This video keeps popping up again on my RUclips feed, and every time I see it I think 🤔 💭 what an extraordinarily realistic piece of sculpture. Thanks Uncle Night Shift 💕
I’ve enjoyed all of your videos, but this series might have become my personal favorite. The detail and explanation along with the subject are just *chefs kiss*
Pewter contains no lead. Pewter was created as both a replacement for lead, and as a cheaper alternative to silver (for plates and such)... Fantastic work!!
Awesome. I really, really enjoy your building builts. You do rush through the process in these shorter videos. Not sure if it is optimized for RUclips, but I enjoy the longer versions a lot more as there is more to learn from. Thanks for making these videos, you're awesome.
Fantastic work! Suggestion: How about adding some ghost signs onto the sides of the building? Opportunity to add some color interest and scale - maybe near the electrical panel.
amazing job! only thing worth of mentioning, the roof wave sheets should overlap by one full wave as in real life, which prevents water leaks from roof panel joints.
I don't build these types of things but I do use some of the techniques you've taught me. I really enjoy watching you create and your sense of humor 😅💕 I watch all your videos 👍
Bravo Martin, once again the result is just... Impressive. I can't find references for the foam you use and for the factory windows. Thank you very much for your help. Take care of yourself and your loved ones and good luck with the renovation of your house. Antoine
Wow, absolutely amazing! It blows my mind how realistic you can Mahe things look and the fact that you built this from scratch makes it that much more impressive.
Just awesome detailed description on this video ................ a lot of information are there for the beginners and who really want to make his work at highest quality.......... Thanks for the video and best wishes from AR Diecast
"I sprayed diluted PVA glue over the entire model and left it out while the contractors knocked down my walls. The resulting dust and debris looks really authentic!" In all seriousness, you can tell that your art has been improving massively, and I think you are really nailing the relationship between how physical shapes and textures coincide with color and weathering. The buildings look INCREDIBLY convincing!
Recently stumbled across your channel. Not my usual thing as I paint mainly 40k but you sir, are a genius. So enjoyable to watch and such outstanding results. Amazing, thank you.
The #1 reason I look forward to Fridays.
Me too brother
Same for me and I am not even a modeler 😂
Me too!
Agreed
You and me both!
The Windows music got me 😅 I really chuckled to myself!
Quite simply the best foam modelling on RUclips
Oh WOW! This is Crazy Good! I get the urge to sneak in and look around inside...
This inspired my son to make models 😊❤❤
Yah. Its Friday, I'm almost done work and a new video is waiting for me to watch from Uncle Nightshift 👍
I find it weird to describe a beaten up, neglected, exposed, broken etc. building beautiful. But it IS beautiful! Your work is amazing. It is stupendously realistic
If you photoshopped this dio into a IRL background. I’d believe it was real. Insanely skilled and talented.

@@fonesrphunny7242 Yup that too. A great example is his barn and WWI diorama.
The reality would look fake!
Conqueror waiting for rescue and restoration. Great project Ma Friend
Another GREAT vid........... 👍👍
That building came out great. Good luck with the home remodeling, save some of the plaster dust.
Looks insane. Could be used in a movie as a prop setting. Looks incredible.
Thank you , Uncle Martin .

This video keeps popping up again on my RUclips feed, and every time I see it I think 🤔 💭 what an extraordinarily realistic piece of sculpture. Thanks Uncle Night Shift 💕
Highlight of the week for sure 👌
I know it’s a styrofoam building but it looks like a real building! Great job!!
The window cracks look great.
I’ve enjoyed all of your videos, but this series might have become my personal favorite. The detail and explanation along with the subject are just *chefs kiss*

looks good enough to move in .
The metal roof looks so nice! I love the look of the rust against the cold grey. Nice work, I’m excited to see how this looks with the tank!
It looks absolutely incredible! I love the way it looks after being weathered and it will look great in the diorama!
My favorite thus far, the variety of materials, details and finishes really make the building so realistic.
"His name is Matt" loved it! Loved the video too as always
Excellent work, Martin.
Good luck with the renovations on your house. Hope they all work out for you and maybe you can share the finished product with us.
I love that you used the MS Windows "startup music" when you showed the windows. 😆😆
Just pure art, looks insanely like a real building. Don't know how you want to top this beauty 🤔
Very nicely designed
Thank you
Little glass shard with a piece of ripped clothing would be epic detail to the missing window place.
I would say, uncle Nightshift did another masterpiece!
Beautifully executed. I really like how the windows turned out.
how many of these scam replies am I gonna get? Do I have a YT profile that says I'm a complete rube?

Thanks for making these videos, you're awesome.
This is, without doubt, the absolute top class of modeling... 👍👌😊
Very realistic. Looks like the photos. Excellent technique, as usual.
Ridiculously cool. Such a fun video to watch. Loved the corrugated roof. Stunning.
I love how this is coming along. The channel has given me a real boost to get back into some of my modeling sets so shout out to you Night Shift
Would love to see you make a plane kit. I think you could make a real beautiful looking jet fighter.
Fantastic work.Thumbs up.
Fantastic work! Suggestion: How about adding some ghost signs onto the sides of the building? Opportunity to add some color interest and scale - maybe near the electrical panel.
You are an inspiration.
Very, very cool. Absolutely impressive.
Genius level model work..seriously the corrugated roof is amazing in its observation and execution…bravo
That is one of the best looking buildings I’ve soon you do. Can’t wait to see the completed diorama!!!
dude you've become the master of recreating grimmy broken things!! this looks awesome
If You put a little of moss between windows and window sills, and in scratches, it will be more terrific. Imho. Anyway you are best in modeling.
Wonderful execution of another fantastic building. Good luck on your remodeling.
Awesome job, my man! 👍🏻
That was great. The weathering on the building was fantastic. Very impressive
Dude I swear- you are the coolest! This is such an amazing build! I said 'OH Damn!' So many times in this video!!! Learned so much!!!!!

DUUUUUUDDEEE!!!!! The window is insanely awesome!
Very excellent finished model. Thanks for sharing.
Exquisite detailing and painting 👍
another great build
amazing job! only thing worth of mentioning, the roof wave sheets should overlap by one full wave as in real life, which prevents water leaks from roof panel joints.
Awesome background for the diorama. Your skill continues to amaze!
Now I just wish you do a full on post apocalypse diorama
This is the crispiest building I've ever seen, and to do the whole thing from scratch is just incredible! Youre a limitless inspiration, man
Dear Martin, outstanding workmanship! Very informative & inspiring - thank you. Best Wishes Johnny
Excellent work and video! God bless you and yours! Praying for you
Loved the windows computer sound
I don't build these types of things but I do use some of the techniques you've taught me. I really enjoy watching you create and your sense of humor 😅💕 I watch all your videos 👍
I REALLY enjoyed this. Your bending jig for the roof was especially nice. Wonderful work!
Awesome. These "metalic"p arts of the building are just perfect, as I can see by my window outside :D
Great job! Good luck with your remodeling 🍷
Man, you are good at what you do, I wish I could be as good as you

Master craftsmanship! Super tech! 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm calling it as a scrapyard diorama.
You are an amazing artist and craftsman. Also, glib & funny !
Yo just tried out the varnish from vms and it's definitely the best varnish out there. And btw his name is XXL Matt not just Matt. Great video though!
Wow, absolutely amazing! It blows my mind how realistic you can Mahe things look and the fact that you built this from scratch makes it that much more impressive.
I love how it's filled with coal, roof high :D
Just awesome detailed description on this video ................ a lot of information are there for the beginners and who really want to make his work at highest quality.......... Thanks for the video and best wishes from AR Diecast

YES 3D SEEMS THE WAY TOO GO , YOU HAVE A LOT OF THE SKILLS NECESSARY 😉.
