1 John 3:14 KJV
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
As SAVED, we do have love for brethren. (This is one of the result of being assured to your salvation)
God Bless us po.
You have no idea how much of a God send this is. I teach Bible Study and lead worship every other week for an Assisted Living Facility. I was having such a hard time finding good Biblically sound worship songs that I can sing to. I needed Lyrics too for the people to follow along. I was having a hard time finding these old choruses and hymns with lyrics on keys that I could sing along to. This suits me so well. Please know that God helped me to find this. I love it. I am so excited to go this Sunday and have a good few songs to sing with the people. I love these people so much and they need this. Amen and May you be blessed.
Yay! I'm so glad you found the channel. Bless you for loving these elders so well.

What does "dementia-friendly" mean?
Good question! My hymn arrangements are specifically designed to meet the needs of people living with brain changes, including dementia. That means they are slower in tempo, shorter (2-3 verses instead of 4-5+), and in a lower key than usual, with very easy-to-read lyrics and no distracting visual elements.
what is Dementia friendly?
That's a great question! For the hymns, dementia-friendly means the recordings are 1) slower in tempo; 2) shorter than usual -- 2-3 verses instead of 4-5; 3) in a lower key, because voices naturally get lower with age, and 4) have very easy-to-read lyrics -- no fancy fonts or background images. The arrangements are very simple -- one or two voices and a single piano accompaniment, no grand orchestrations or choral vocals. All of these choices reduce the number of elements that people with dementia have to process, accessing the long-term memories of the songs and enabling them to participate easily and fluidly. During my church services, you'll also notice that I speak slowly ... again, to give people more time to process what I'm saying. Thanks for asking!
Your question inspired me to post this blog :) spiritualeldercare.com/2023/08/12/what-is-dementia-friendly-church/
