- Fjällräven Classic Sweden is a 110 km trek between Nikkaluokta and Abisko, you follow the kings trail and walk by Swedens tallest mountain Kebnekaise.
We attempted this adventure early in the year back in 2016 but unfortunately we had to turn around, this time we're back and better prepared than ever. Follow our journey on the trail and get blown away by the truly amazing landscape that surrounds us.

Thanks brother!
I competed in 2018, one of the worst years, thats what the
organization told us.. I know its a hard hike.. butt its so great to see that beautiful nature. And also meet al the brilliant en lovely people that have the same attitude as you have..
I WANT TO GO BACK....
I heard so too, I think we all want to go back.. so weird watching this video and being like.. "hey I wanna do that.." so glad I filmed it! :)
Great! Love it! Nothing beter then walking in the rain! Waiting for no2🙏
Almost done! :)
Nice movie. I noticed one of the girls, the one with the blue cover, quite often looked backward while continuing walking. That's a classic blunder when walking, especially in the mountains. Always stop when you want to look around!
Good tip, we stopped at times too but yeah, a lot of things happening at the same time! Thanks for watching!
@@TedWeirum your welcome, walk safely 😉!
More... Give me more 🥺 thanks for sharing and tips 🙂
Thank you so much, going to start on part two now!
@@TedWeirum already looking forward to next part :) (no worries I can wait, there is no need to rush anything)
there's no time to wait either :P
Watch this again , what a nice time , hope can join it again.
Yeah it was really nice to meet you and your wife my friend! :)
Great vid can't wait for next one the country is such a beautiful place mighty place to clear the head and soul
Hey Willie, well yes, it truly is, it's really hard to show on camera but it's another world up there!
Ahhhh I can’t wait for Part 2 now! Good job on the hike.
Thanks brother!
Looking forward to the part 2.. Thanks for the good video ! Every sentiment I felt there is revived again.
Thank you! It’s so weird, I feel the same! 🙏🏼
Class. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure friend!
I really like everything from fjallraven
then you'll love this channel! :)
@@TedWeirum i do
Great video as always. Your views and the landscape in Sweden look amazing. I recently completed the USA Classic and had a wonderful time. 1 down, 7 to go!
I’m jealous! How did you find the hike in the US? Thanks for watching!
Ted Weirum loved the atmosphere and the people. I found the route challenging but doable. The elevation is an additional hurdle but manageable. Looking forward to part 2 of your video.
Hey! Awesome vid
Superbra! Önskar att jag kunde berätta så bra i mina filmer.
Tack! Jag var lite osäker ifall det skulle bli för basigt :)
Greetings from Brazil! Just found your channel. Really good content! Loving it
Obrigado irmão!
Great one Ted! We took part last year and it was truly and life changing experience, its amazing to live it again through your video! Looking forward to part 2 (Day 3 and the Tjaktka Pass was my favourite)
yeah, you know what's coming! :) it's such a strong mental win to get over the highest point, now it seems like it all went so fast! thanks for watching!
Awesome. It’s not easy to do this hike and try to film it well at the same time. Excellent effort!
I’m so glad somebody noticed that hahaha, no it is not! However it’s soo worth the effort now when we’re back, it gives us a chance to relive it all again! Thanks for watching!
Did this hike last year (2018) completed in 5 days. It's relatively flat ground but the relentless uneven stones make it hard going and some of the boards are loose so always need to watch where your feet are going! Found energy levels crashed after about the 3rd day, lots of snickers bars needed! Quite a few people got helicopter rescue with hypothermia, broken bones from slipping on wet rocks we were told. Really enjoyed it though overall and a great experience.
Wow, sounds like you had an awesome experience! Exactly like you say, the ground is somewhat flat but the rocks make it a lot harder, this being the first time for a lot of people the risk of injury is there, especially with wet weather conditions! Thanks for watching!
@@TedWeirum
Was stunning scenery all the way, especially near the lake at Alesjaure when the sun came out. We just sat there for a few hours and soaked it all up, watching the reindeer in the distance.
Mk1 aquatic yeah, that whole area I just an amazing place for reflection and thought!
Stiligt Ted!! 😃👍
Tack och tack än en gång för ponchon! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm late to the party, but I have wifi now, so I can watch your awesomeawesomeawesome video.
More than and few moments had me tear up. Truly. What a beautiful account of what must've been quite the adventure.
Give Isabella my regards. Great job the both of you!
Thank you so much for your heartwarming comment my dear friend! I hope all is going well for you up there! thanks again!
Ted, you managed to capture the right atmosphere! This is the Classic! Can't wait for part 2.
Thank you so much my friend! You’re either in part two or three!! ;)
Great video. Waitng for next one.

You know your Kajka is always right!! :)
Nice hiking video! Greetings from México
Bienvenido hermano!
Ted Weirum , gracias Ted !
Great video , and it shows that the trip can also be hard and wet ( not just sunshine and happy walk as the fjellraven shows ) 👍 good work
Thanks Johnny! That’s a good point, of course it’s all down to how prepared and experienced you are and to be honest we had really good weather this year. With that said it can still be tough for some! Thanks for watching!
Looks like you guys had somewhat the same weather as we had last year. I loved hiking it! Can't wait to see the last sections!
Thank you! I think we had pretty good weather overall! Stay tuned!
nice cool.. 멋 진 삶 이 에 요 Good~~

Great great video Ted...Congrats!! I'm missing the place,it was like I was there again..hopping to do it again next year or in 2021..can't wait for the next video👍👍👍

Finally got a chance to catch up with the video. Steller, with documentary quality. You even left it on a cliff hanger, ha. Got to leave them wanting more. Peace
Thank you so much Jay! :)
Vilken grej... fasiken så bra gjort av er..💪❤
vaddå, trodde du något annat eller? 😘❤️
Nix..
Min son..❤❤
awesome video !!! we are already planning the next year .
Nice! would you do anything different next year? :)
@@TedWeirum we want to reach the top of the Keb, maybe join the Fjallraven classic of Korea.
Heli for a nose? You got to be kidding!
What would you have done?
Nice, video. I also live in Sweden and am thinking in doing some hikes up there to get the know the country a bit better. Not sure if you know but would be interesting to know if I can do the Fjällräven without the "classic" part, just go up there and start walking. And Ted thanks for the video man, much appreciated.
Hey man! Yeah of course, just hike away!! I’d recommend you go late July or something like that, it’s the season for it. I went earlier and its still doable but a bit colder!
Brilliant mate, like watching a movie. Looks tougher than i expected. How did you find carrying all your kit in the Keb 52? Look forward to episode 2
you'd be fine! it's challenging but so rewarding, you'd love it! the keb delivered on every note, truly amazing bag. I added the drone just before we left and there was still plenty of space to go, love that bag!
There are clothing companies like Fjallraven and Mammut that have an animal logo, but other companies like Hanwag or Bergans of Norway that are peoples "names". There is also nature logos (leaves, mountains, etc). Well one might not know that there is something more to this than only a brand name. It will have some effect if you wear all animal except have a name on the feet or the head. Fjallraven here in Canada sells only Hanwag boots. What was she wearing?
Isabella has the Hanwag tatra! Thanks for watching!
I felt sad for that gorgeous lady who had a nose injury.
Yeah, luckily she’s fine! Really brave woman!
Hey Ted! I am a bit curious about what powerbanks you use when you are out hiking, especially when hiking Fjällräven Classic. Thanks for all the inspiration👌 love your videos!
Hey! I use an old Techlink recharge power bank , nothing special. I’ll see if I can make a video about it one day. Thank you for your kind words.
Real turmat, nice. Wish there was another competing product like that but all of the other freeze dried pack brands are not even close.
I think Lyo makes a great alternative, plus there’s no extra mumbojombo in their stuff, check them out! We used them in the prep video for this event!
Great start Ted! Did You use the Fjällräven tights? Like your missus. If so, good or bad? See You on yhe next one!
Hey! Yes I did, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Perfect for this type of adventure! Thanks for watching!
I love mine! Warm when needed, cool otherwise. Finished a 90 mile hike the other week with them. No shafing.. dries quickly.
Nice! I’m really happy with mine too!

I know, already did. We sorted it there! :)
@@TedWeirum Haha. I am waiting for your next video. Good luck! Good editing and great shoot as well.

Where is this location?
Nikkaluokta - Abisko, northern Sweden :)
Thanks man,really nice place
Yeah, you’ll love it! If you get a chance you should definitely go!
🤩😍🤩

Great video. I think your girlfriend would benefit greatly with a pair of walking sticks. I can see it in the way she walks. Cheers.
Thanks Nicki, she actually tried them later on as you will see in the coming videos and she did like them! :)
You all have too much money !
Haha, if you only knew, you’d be surprised!
So much plastic wasted, so much nature destroyed. People flying to this event from everywhere completely ignoring the CO2. It’s a shame...
I get what you mean, there’s of course worse things going on in the world, I think this is a great way to educate people about the nature and world around us and why we need to protect it
“... worse things going on in the world... “ really? There’s always worse things going on in the world. The perfect reason to not change anything? Hypocrisy seems a good word to describe that. Cheers mate
