      Hi @SyameemRaub thanks for watching firstly! And I'm sure you'll love this trek. The landscape and experience is just stunning. This year I'm heading to the Denmark 🇩🇰 Fjallraven and I'm hoping to get a video out in late April in my prep 😊
      Enjoy the trek man!

    5:10 those are not winter markings, they are snowmobile trail markings. Nice video, I’m Swedish and I haven’t done the Fjällräven Classic yet, but looking into doing it next year’s vacation.
    Really nice video!

    This is great! I’m still watching. I would love to do a hike next month in Sweden. I live in The Netherlands. And I am looking for information. Where did you find information about the trail and huts? 😊

    • @nomadnish
      @nomadnish  Год назад

      Hi there, I got all the info from the Fjällräven Classic Sweden site (available via Google search) as I did the organised hike they do. But you can do this same hike yourself and it's a hike path called the Kungsleden Hike in Sweden. If you google this there is loads of info as it's a really well known trekking trail there. Let me know if you need more info! 😊

    Great video and good info about the tracks for someone who wants to hike this! You can definitely eat those blueberries but they are usually at their best in the fall 😋As someone who hikes in Lapland often, I have to say 23 kilos for a summer hike is a lot! For a winter maybe but for summer typical gear and food should fit at 10 kg (plus backpack and water) and that's without any ultralight stuff. But it usually takes a few goes to see what stuff you can survive without. Thanks for the fun trip!

      Thanks for watching and the feedback on the video and the hike. You are absolutely correct that 23kg was way way too much and really tough for such a long hike. I am still not at a perfect weight this year I managed about 15kg on my hike in Denmark so a little more to reduce on 🙂

      @@nomadnish 15kg is already really good, especially if you carry camera gear! Hope to see some more videos from Lapland from you, the fall colors are absolutely stunning 😊

    What the hell are you carrying to get 23 KG backpack?!? Should be around 10-12KG fo this trip

  • @bando404
    @bando404 3 года назад +2

    This was great! I wish I had made a vlog like this. Not sure if I saw you on the trail..
    Regarding your weight - that backpack is heavy. 3 something kg right? I think you can shave a kg with an Osprey for example. Then: sleeping bag

    • @nomadnish
      @nomadnish  3 года назад

      @Bando, thanks loads for the suggestions. The pack is definitely on the heavy side (3kg as you say), but I love it sooo much... but yes will need to consider for :) The mat was replaced and is under 1kg and I don't think I want to go for one of the thinner crinklier ones after having tried a friend's mat - personal preference for how I sleep :) Now the sleeping bag is definitely on my list because I sleep hot and probably can do with a lighter one or I am looking for a quilt. Any experience with a quilt? The other thing I am considering is a one person tent instead of the Abisko View 2 person that I have (circa 1750g).. thanks loads for taking time to comment :)

    I'm sorry to say but 23 kg is really bad. But I enjoyed your video thanks for sharing.

      @nomadnish  2 года назад +1

      Hi @Swiss Monkey, completely agree now with hindsight that 23 kg was too much. If I ever get a chance to go on this Trek again, I'll be aiming to reduce that and stay around 17kg or less if possible 😁 Thanks loads for taking time to participate in the comments!

    Great video😃 happy memories from the hike this year. I can guarantee you - even if your feet are sore, the backpack is heavy and the surface is rocky, you will want to come back year after year and do this classic🥳. Look forward to the next episodes😃👌🏻
