I am pleased that nature is preserved, Batanes, where mountains thrive, waters live and people thrive, and hopefully where the Philippine eagles fly. Thanks for preserving nature, and the beloved young ones willing to go abroad or in other places to work and help back to their native land. Thank you Batanes and their loving people

I think that what the province of Batanes needs is subsidy from the government- subsidy to pay the salaries of Doctors and Nurses so that there are these professionals based there for medical emergencies. Also, assistance from the government for agricultural and fishing technology so that they would be able to harvest more craps and catch more fish and assistance na din para maibenta yung products nila sa ibang places sa Philippines. There is no need to develop it to be a city with concrete walls and Skyscrapers para lang magkaroon ng opportunities for the locals kasi masisira ang natural beauty ng province na to, what they need more is ma-strengthen kung saan sila kilala which is agriculture, fishing, and tourism.
I hope the government of the Philippines won't corrupt the people of batanes islands. Leave that island to preserve the indigenous roots people. It is a beautiful place as if like you are in paradise

Totoo po, ako po taga maliit na isla ng mainland samar. After high school po umaalis kami sa isla namin para mag aral at mghanabuhay d2 sa manila. Umuuwi ako sa samar bilang bakasyunista nlng. Sana mgkaroon ng mga trabaho sa mga probinsya ng di na magsipuntahan ng manila ang mga probinsyano tulad ko.
Ang layo pala Ng itbayat sa appari.. 270 kilometers distance nya!! Parang manila to Baguio city ang layo!! Grabe pilipinas ang lalayo Ng Isla.. pero ok mga Tao Jan nagtutulungan.. dapat talaga maging federalism na gobyerno ng pilipinas para Yung tax nila nagagamit nila sa Bayan nila!! Ang tax pa yata Ng mga tga batanes napupunta pa sa maynila at duon nagagastos
Wala namn kasi highly skilled jobs na kelangan jan. Ganyan nangyayari sa lahat ng rural areas lalo na sa mga developed countries tulad ng japan. Bat kasi ang baba ng tingin ng farming o fishing industry sa atin. Puro engineer at nursing kinukuha ng mga estudyante, tapos lalabas ng bansa. Wala tuloy mga batang farmers o agricultural experts ngayon, puro yung mga matatanda na lang. Samantalang sa ibang bansa gaya ng us, ang mga farmers yung mga mayayaman.
