My MBBS fee tuition fee was less than 9k for 6yrs.
PG fee was like 17k for 3yrs.

Exactly the point I was thinking about, as 2nd gen doc you get a readymade launchpad for starting your earning t nure whereas for 1st gen ones you pay off your debts, you get your specialization and then around 28-29 you start seeing some money.
With due respect sir, cost break up of becoming a full fledged doctor has changed.. with almost every pvt college asking for 1crores (at least) for MBBS and PG respectively.
To become full fledged, even 3cr isn't enough😂

As per the Income tax department data FY 2023, only 3.3 Lakhs of people disclosed annual earning more than 50L ( monthly little above 4L).In India currently 13L doctors are there. Now do the math, don't forget we have high paying IT, Finance, Banking, Business owners, Lawyers, Film stars etc etc.
1) Firstly, as per FY 2023, there are 3.3L people earning *Between 50 Lakhs and 1 Crore* And another *1.7 Lakhs people earning over 1 crore* . So the *number of people earning over 50 Lakhs is 5 Lakhs* .
2) More importantly, by only counting people earning over 50 Lakhs, you are counting out the *19.2 Lakhs of people earning b/w 20 and 50 Lakhs* .
3) Even then you will be counting out the *45.5 Lakhs of people earning b/w 10 and 20 Lakhs* which is the starting salary of post graduates and doctors.
4) And lastly, a large chunk of the 13 Lakh doctors are quite early in their careers. Some 90k just graduated out of mbbs last year. Now consider the number of mbbs passout doctors currently preparing for PG(0L PA) and those studying in PG(~12L PA) and those in Super Speciality(~24L PA) and those that just started their practice after PG(~24L PA).
@@RajneeshKumar-lk6mk I have doubt about the comment that doctors are earning 8 to 10 Lakha per month, which I feel very small% of doctors are earning. You rightly said only 1.7 L people are earning above 1Cr per year, out of this 1.7 L people if doctors constitutes 20% ( rest 80% are coming from CEO, IT Professional, CA, Film Actors, Business Owners, Etc) then number of doctors become 34K who are earning more than a 1cr, out of total number of doctors is 13L, so in terms of% it's not even 3% of total doctors.
@@mshibendu1 3% might be the right estimate. In my tier 3 city of some 300 doctors, 8 are earning over 1 crore PA, 2 of those(orthopedic, psychiatrist) are earning well over 3cr PA, and 1 cardiologist is even earning over 5cr from his own multispeciality hosital.
*But it's very immoral and misleading to say that every or most doctors will be able to achieve it just as they get more experienced. All these doctors planned and worked according to the environment they were in.*
My older brother studying in aiims already has a general idea that he will pursue medicine. Why? Because in our city, only the doctors that prescribe medicine are living their dream lives. Even the orthopedic surgeon who earns over 3cr rarely does surgery. People in my city just don't trust surgery of any kind.
Another thing that doctors in my city do is that they work in a private hospital for 5-10 yrs and then open their own big clinic. People think that doctor must be very successful in his practice. Not one clinic in prime location in my city is ever empty.
Take the recent most example of a doctor playing his cards right in my city:
A very renowned dermatologist used to work in a rented clinic in our city for 3hrs a day, 3 days a week. He just recently quit practice in our city to enjoy some free time. Just 4 days after he quit, a new dermatologist with 2-4 yrs of experience rented that exact clinic and worked at those same times, 3hrs a day, 3days a week. It's only been 1 month and he already gets over 30 patient visits every time sits in that clinic. Charges 500 per patient, so 45000 per week for just 9 hrs of work. And he works in other cities too!
So all in all, you just need to plan ahead and accordingly to your environment.

Why i am concentrating this segment because this section is real high salary and as per the interview Dr. Rahil is generalizing 8 to 10 L is doctors salary per month, which is even more than a 1Cr per year.
Now lets deep dive the numbers again, 5L people are earning more than 50L per year, it has all doctors, engineers, CA, IT Professionals, Bankers, IITs, IIMs, Business owners, Pilots, Data Scientists, Actors, Directors etc etc. If doctors constitute even 20% of this 5L people than only 1L doctors are earning more than 50L per year and only 34K doctors are earning more than 1Cr per year.
So % of doctors earning more than 50L is only 8% (1L out of 13L) and more than 1Cr is only 3% (34K out of 13L).

Bro I'm from guwahati and my elder brother is a radiologist and he is right now 35 he had just 3 years or experience and he is earning around 7 to 8 lakhs per month and his wife is also a anesthesia doctor she is earning around 3-4 lakhs living in guwahati, Assam tier 2 city and in my family we have 2 more doctors with 15 years of experience earning around 12-15 lakhs per month so please if u don't know then please don't comment. And I myself a first year student at AIIMS GUWAHATI. So I know how much doctors earn in india
And onw of my doctor is a dermatologist in gurgoan he is earning around 20+lakhs per month with a experience of 17 years.. U don't know how doctors get paid by various things... one example is the dermatologist dr. He used to get paid by MRs of many pharmaceutical companies and he offers lakhs and lakhs of rupees that's the side income of the doctors after having viking charge from patient. And he takes 1200 per patient and he have 50 plus patients every single day....
Guys this man z misleading everyone, after 4.5 yrs you get stiphund money during internship b/w 10k-30k depending on your college, then if you r inexperienced medico after 5.5 yrs you get b/w 35K-40K and if you selected for pg , there u r paid b/w 60k- 70 k , after doing ur speciality and superspecialiy the highest earing reaches around 2 lac to 3 lac....thats it.... nothing beyond it....i have 5 family members of mine in close relations who r pursuing medicine..

Doctor and advocate are the safest professions after govt jobs, almost unaffected by economic scenario, having lesser competition from new college grads due to the value of experience, having no retirement, and always going up with age. If you can go past the initial difficult 5 years, there's no looking back.
I think enginnering is way better if your main focus is only money . Cause doctors earn after age of 35 years and engeneers have rhe experience of 10+ years at t that age and its enough to draw a salary of 4-5 lacks per month easily without even suffering from work life balance

Its my 3rd proff in med clg and plz it is recommended that never give more than 2 attempts of NEET coz it is important to enter in college in Teenage so u can take a exit at a very decent age , if not then sometimes in future it ruins your life work balance and let me clear about fee structure if ur going for UG (MBBS) it costs approx 1 Crore , For PG - 1-1.5 crore /year (not full course) and for super speciality there are very few colleges that are offering Super Specialties and thats a hugee expense ,,, even people cant afford a UG degree , but its really not worth to do a medical UG ( BAMS,MBBS,BDS) degree from a private college if your NEET marks are so low , coz i see some of my friends who dropped out at 2nd or 3rd year so be calm nd flexible about career , iam suprised why students arr crazy about NEET ? Why they are not going towards IISER’s ?NEET is not one and only path to choose in your life , life is so big , and choose career wisly coz unfulfilled dreams makes worse nightmares - Hope it is helpfull

Bhai we get 30k per month in govt. Hospitals during internship.
We used to get 28k as interns (govt medical college) in Odisha.. Now it's 40k.. All you have to do is talk to all the interns (union heads) in the state and just say that if they (govt) don't make increments then you guys might stop working just for one day in the whole state. We never had to go on a strike regarding this issue. The news of all the govt tertiary hospitals (medical colleges) being shut just for a day in the whole state is enough. But the PG and Super Speciality stipends haven't had increments. Yes, doctors are underpaid for the volume of work and studies we do. We gotta look out for each other.

top 1% are earning way more than 25 lakhs per month through private practice in own setup or reputed corporate hospitals, if you don't know the multiple sources of income for a doctor here then you are very new to this field...there is saturation in metro cities but the opportunities are rising rapidly in tier 2 n tier 3 cities, I'm currently in tier 2 city ( recently moved from tier 1) and my hometown is a tier 3 city where new hospitals are offering 65 LPA for radiologists with 2 year experience

in tier 1 cities like gurgaon, medanta offers 30 - 40 lpa to MCh holders, i.e. super specialist surgeon at entry/ mid lvl....
very low (almost 0) opportunity for extra income source in tier 1 cities .... and top med giant hospitals are definitely in tier 1 cities. So ???

@@anonymous_0416yes 30 -40 LPa but these doctors also own a private clinic and also get commissions from MR to prescribe medicines of their company so when it comes to doctors seeing their salary package and judging them on that is not right as they make hell lot of money through private practice for ex my brother is radiologist having just one year experience getting paid 2.5 lacs in hand for 9 to 4 job and after that he sits in his clinic and makes 2.5 lacs a week so don't compare doctors packages 😂 there is no limit to that.
@@anonymous_0416and if someone is general surgeon having even a 900 square feet set up in rural area can make upto 10-12 lacs a month even if he is just an avg general surgeon so if u compare salary wise yeah engineers are paid better than doctors but main earning of doctors comes from private practice which has no limit and it varies it can be as low as 30 k a month to even 1-2 lacs a day.

You are right. My GF is a Doctor and she is a super specialist. She earns 1 lakh in Bangalore. Why such blatant lies are said in podcasts I don't understand. Only the top engineers are well paid, rest are worst than sadak chaps. I am also an engineer and know the reality.
