Just ask the scammer a personal question that only a family member would know the answer to. If he can't answer, it's a scam.

ANY voice of any type can be cloned. Don't act pretentious and naïve nor should you posture; ANYTHING can be falsified. Graphics, sound, music, vocals, video... all of it. And by EOY 2026, it will be even more prevalent and closer to impossible to detect.

@@Novastar.SaberCombat PRETENTIOUS...POSTURE? Do you even KNOW the meanings of those words?? Where in my comment did I mention or insinuate that the Jamaican Patois can't ever be...um..."cloned"? Perhaps my comment was a tad above your grade level; so, let me dumb it down for you: I WILL START WORRYING WHEN THEY START CLONING THE JAMAICAN LANGUAGE. Got it now? Step to literacy before you hop on your high horse.

Perhaps it is above your grade level; so let me take it down several notches for you: I WILL START WORRYING WHEN THEY START "CLONING" THE JAMAICAN ACCENT. Got it now? Step to literacy before you hop on your high horse!

Even in a legit emergency, you should never EVER have to pay money for anything. Its a scam ALWAYS if money is involved. I can't believe people still fall for this

Engage the person calling in a conversation that leads to information that only your family member would know. Get the location of the jail they are supposedly in, do a search for that location on multiple platforms to make sure the number is real as a intricate scam could post a fake number on the web.

My friend was scammed out of $23,000 and the police told her there was nothing they can do, and referred to the FBI. The FBI fill out a form and she never heard back from them.
Don’t believe anyone when talking about money. Do your own research.

It's too late. Seriously! With algorithmic jank via CGPT, Midjourney, Claude, Bing, etc., the average citizen (meaning 90% of all humans) has NO chance. None. And I mean zero.
