Ive been watching your vids and its helped alot! I haven’t ranked up yet but ive been getting more kills and assists due to off angels and lurking. Went from 5-8 kills per game to 15-20 a game :) still bronze 3 but big improvement for me.
Using KDA stats alone to indicate your progress is going to hold you back in the future, it’s good to exit that mindset. Jollz, for example, can get outfragged by an ascendant easily especially if that said player has solid aim and is using a duelist whereas Jollz is on a passive controller role. Look at each round through VODs and see what impact you provide your team with the space you make, trades you perform, and even the angles you hold. Kills will come as a byproduct, and they not always will. This is the reality no matter your rank, Iron 1 or Radiant.

After watching your videos, I was hardstuck bronze 3 on the Brazilian server. Now in the new season I got it Gold 2 and I’m pretty much top fragging every round and seeing that I will be hitting plat soon! I used this video tips today to my own advantage and I’m fragging and helping my team a lot more (playing as duelist, main Reyna). I’ve been playing serious has been six months and because it’s my first FPS, I feel my gamesense it’s what still gets me on my game.

What does boosted mean
boosted means they queued with other players to get to a higher rank than their skill level is.

Riot needs to fix matchmaking asap. No disrespect to the guy but Golds have better crosshair placement than him.
Party and Solo rank should be completely separate.
I wouldn't say that they should be separate, but on top of the already diminished RR gains when grouped, the game should also look at who you're grouping with. If your duo or group has high MMR, then it should barely grant you any RR and plateau your rank

I just got used to DOTA where they eventually separated party and solo ranked since mixing both had too many problems when it came to matchmaking.

Hi, I'm GreatWizqrd#1212 and I am currently B3 and all of my friends say I deserve silver because of my aim. I have pretty good aim, but I find that my gamesense and especially my economy are pretty bad and would love to see how I can improve on them after some coaching. I'm also a decently fast learner and very open to criticism so I would be glad to take advise!

Ngl if he was in Dia elo on SEA Servers he would be Flamed 9/10 times what I've noticed in valorant is If you are playing in NA your actual placement in SEA the server is actually 1 or 2 ranks below meaning if you're Diamond in NA you're Plat/Gold in SEA servers, SEA servers just hits diff in terms of skill

hello rumour#6779 here! I find your videos so informative! I have been having a really hard time with proper positioning as well as being an effective controller / sentinal. My movement and aim could definantly use some work (which i have been trying to work on!) but i find that my positioning to help support my team definatly could be better, and i am also getting very tired of my friends yelling at me for my viper walls, so learning how to more effectively help them while using her would definatly make for some more happy campers :D any insights would be great :)

Hey Jollz! I'm xj#4803 and I'm gold 2, it is now my new peak after ascendant was been added. I've been playing fps for about 2 years now starting on CSGO; however, I was always laggy with ping that spiked frequently. Until recently in the last act, where I was finally able to play normally and experience stable ping. I have a hard time staying consistent and need help with my confidence, positioning, and things like that. I would be honored to take your time to be coached, have a nice day! :D

Hi Jollz, I'm Rage#5959. I've just played my first ever placement games after picking the game up recently and placed bronze 3. I think I probably need to work on literally every aspect of the game. I think my aim isn't the worst considering I have tendon issue in my hands (I use a controller in my left hand as I can't use a keyboard properly). Hi Jollz! I'm MaloCake#0142 and I'm a new plat/gold player. I quickly climbed the ranks from high bronze/low silver a couple of months ago and have been struggling to get the hang of being in gold/plat lobbies as I'm always bot frag but still managing to hang onto that rank through some carries by my teammates. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and what bad habits I've brought with me from being silver. I would love an outside perspective from someone who could point out my issues so I can fix them and hopefully play better in my rank!
Quick Question, you told him that the occasional lurk is a good strat, does that apply to every Duelist? So if I for example play Reyna, is the occasional lurk also viable, or is that not recommended.
i mean as long as you have other flashes and or entry duelists reyna can lurk but your teammates won't be very happy

team morale is actually very important in winning games. if you piss them off by lurking, they'll start playing bad and you will likely lose.
@@audiobull1240 yeah for sure team morale is probably the biggest factor, I always think to myself when losing, that if I get my team to halftime without them tilting there’s always a chance of comeback.
However I feel like switching it up and thus Being unpredictable is also a great way of playing if you just 5 man push all the time chances are enemy team will adapt to it and counter

is it bad to have a high headshot %, i am d2 and have a 35% headshot% right now, but in general it's always been above 30% and when I check others profile they don't have it as high so i'm curious if it would be better to sometimes just spray and confirm a kill rather than always trying to burst and headshot people
having that high of hs percentage is actually good, do body shots when necessary even mine isn't that high and i was immo 2 last act.
@@LuvZenoMusic well yeah but you're immo, you're facing better players and i'm guessing they counter strafe most of the time so it's harder to hit headshots, in my games about 1, maybe 2 people know how to counter strafe and there's a chance they're not even strafing that well so I win the fights
@@fanivarentain5078 that is very weird I didn’t notice much of a difference in skill set until immortal 2 my immortal 1 hs was around 26 checked just now and when I peaked dia 3 a few seasons ago I was around 23-24 it’s harder for me to hit hs in lower elo because they crouch so much it gets super annoying I rarely crouch and the higher players in immortal don’t crouch as much either so my hs percentage went up I’ve seen players peak using ctrl 💀 imagine your aiming for head level and they peak crouched 😂

@@mangotango4403 ye I get it I have friends who play on OCE and Asia and its obvious there's a large skill gap between smaller regions and the rest. It's still a little surprising to see a d3 player play like this. I think most people would have expected players at high dia+ to have those mechanics down or at least almost.

Hi Jollz, I'm Eggwite#6969. I've finally started queing comp seriously and have grinded to gold 3. I am very inconsistent with finding picks and interested in developing a playstyle I stick with considering I play both sentinel and duelist I need to figure out how I play and know when to play, as an example, aggressive or with the team. Would be great opportunity to learn. I'm also having trouble finding where to expand my skills.

i've recently hit plat 1 (watching these coaching vids helped me get out of hardstuck gold 1 for the longest time), but i feel like my game sense and positioning can be majorly improved as i seem to always get stuck in very difficult situations, also my aim can somewhat get inconsistent. i also want to learn how to play my mains better (skye/reyna).
