Thanks Bhai. I too own a Sharp CVT (ADAS) and on my initial drive in Bangalore city i got 12-13 kmpl and i was very impressed. Then went on a highway trip of around 800Km and the average i got was 10-11. Now my city drive shows 7-8 kmpl. I too am disappointed with the mileage of this car. With the current fuel price i guess we will have plan our drives carefully. LOL 😅
You want to findout the average by running just 23 km and you filled the petrol 2 times for that also. This is the worst mileage test I have ever seen on RUclips.
I own Astor CVT , the real mileage in city 9 - 11 KMPL , on highway 13-15 KMPL .
And after 10K km running (thrid service) the mileage will increase by 1-2 KMPL.
Totally satisfied with the power , space , comfort , safety and mileage.

Hi I am also having Astor. Drove almost 2400 KM. My accumulated average is 13.0 kmpl 50-50 Highway city.
Let me tell you guys whoever is planning to buy astor. For city drives like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi of daily 20-25kms, you can expect a mileage of 7-9kmpl with AC on and traffic being medium. On highways, for example i got 16kmpl mileage with AC on on Mumbai Pune and express highway running for 70km at constant speed of 80-100Km/hr.
The car has been only services once and i have sharp variant. The macwheels also drop your mileagse by 1/2 so base variant will give better mileage than top variants. Also, i have kepts rpm between 1500 to 2500 rpm.
If you are buying a car for city drive only where you cannot drive long distance at constant speed than you will be disappointed with the avg. People claiming good mileage here are ones who are driving in a non traffic situation.
I own a Manual Sharp... Limit ur RPM to 2000 and set the AC to Auto...you get approx 15 to 17... This is an awesome car for long drive...

1500km me car ki asli mileage set nahi hoti. Its atleast after you have driven abt 10,000kms, after ur first oil change, is what u get as ur final mileage. Dont loose heart. Take it for long drives and enjoy the car till u get ur first service done.

bro set the temperature to low and keep the fan speed 1 or 2 that would improve the mileage because Mg Astor has a strong AC
mg astor has really weak ac compared to rivals
@@sahilvarma4944 I don't know why you'd compare to rivals or anyone else for that matter. I have an Astor and it cools cabin quite fast and efficient. I always keep it on lowest fan. Gets job done quite well.

1. RPM- 1200 to 1500
2. Dont push in 1,2 gear
3. Try not to change gear frequently
4. Dont do harsh brakin
Gear ratio: 1 to 15 1,2 gera
engage 3rd gear at 25
4 th gear at 38
5 th gear at 48
6th gear at 60
dont cruise above 65😂😂😂😂

Hello Sagar, Mg Astor is a beautiful car and very comfortable.. it’s on your driving how you can get best out of it.. I am having CVT it’s giving me an average of 11-12 sometimes more 13-14 depending on its mood … sometimes 9 kmpl but manual has always more average than automatic..

MG astor is having mileage issues. You will not get 15 in city, city mileage will be 8-9 only and highway 12-15.

I have Astor turbo savvy variant , intially till 1 month I got around 8 to 10 . Now I am getting something 10 to 15 in city and highway easily . A lot depends on driving habits . I normally I keep rpm below 2000 rpm and light foot on pedal.
Same here I drive it normal as well .. with a very light push at the Padel.. let’s hope for the best 🤞🏻

Kaushal Bahi. I too own a Sharp CVT Savvy. I am not getting this average. I am light footed, dont accelerate to high RPM's and try to keep it below 2000. Still dont see any major shift in the average. Do you have any tips for me?
@@kishoreprabhu3164 it's good you tries to keep rpm below 2k but remember it's not only rpm that gives you good mileage i once drove 2.5 - 2.8 rpm in one of my trip
It's all about how you accelerate if you just press the padel watching Techometer raising to 2000 rpm it won't do any work just gradually push the padel and use press and release at the initial phase press release trick to get both mileage and fun drive .
And another point which reduces mileage BRAKE especially in AUTOMATIC car the hard you brake the lower mileage you will get
Otherwise i can't tell you much here just use different method and tries to adopt the car behaviour as soon as you learn the pattern of CVT you will definitely love it . As I'm not the expert but though i learned from the car's pattern.
My friend has SELTOS anniversary edition petorl Manual and he is not getting much mileage even he has MANUAL car so at last it depends on your driving pattern and you will learn it slowly not in one drive and after certain KM like 3000 or 4000 the car will start to give good mileage
And fun fact i tried SPORT mode some days ago and OMG it feel super good i haven't expected that good and responsive engine performance. 💥
