Wonderfully explained !!! Mg astor is best ,one of the head turner, its looks cant be compared with any other in its segment, leather all over gives premium feel, recently completed 13000 kms with it and ride quality and ride experience is just awesome with comfortable drive on hills
Thanks for the comparison by bringing your driving experiences of other cars. I own a 2017 tigor and i m planning to upgrade. Should i go for Astor Manual? I want to know specifically noise and Vibration in cabin and performance of engine.
What about mileage ? What about steering feedback ? With the Ford & Fiat having exited the Indian market & leaving their customers high & dry, most people apprehend the same fate with MG. Any thoughts in this regard ?
How is the performance in comparison to Grand i10 Sportz Petrol. I am currently using it. Planning to upgrade. Please do provide your expertise. 1. Is the overall performance as good as the grand i10 or is it sluggish when compared to grand i10? I doubt it would be any better. I have driven the Astor CVT for a couple of KMs. Found it lacking. unenthusiastic. 2. How does it perform with 5 passengers on board when compared to grand i10?
I had grand i10 sports prior to this(driven 20k+). Though both cars are of very different segments. But power to weight ratio remains almost similar for both. So you might not find a huge upgrade in terms of engine performance, however a big satisfaction should be there w r.t. safety, luxury, tech. , utility (booth space and foldable rear seat), electronics, ground clearance, handling, suspension and indeed the road presence
@@gyro3748 Thanks a lot man! 1. How is the performance as compared to Grand i10 Petrol? I mean can it cruise effortlessly all day at 100 just like how grand i10 does! 2. Does it need frequent downshifts to overtake? Is it tractable?
Hi , im in a middle of confusion whether to go ahead with Aster or Kushaq . So watching reviews in RUclips, most of them are conveying the message like , in Aster if you loose the momentum during steep inclination ,then the car stalls and sometimes its difficult to move the car . Is it so ? I'm also looking the super variant in Aster and my travel will be mostly within Bangalore and yearly twice / thrice to Kerala ( Pathanamthitta via Cumbum-Theni -Kumiky route ) . Your genuine response will help me a lot . Thank you in adavnce .
Astor is far ahead of Kudhaq in almost all departments, however one very important consideration of driving pleasure, it's the kudhaq that steals the show, and can be a deal breaker point for Astor. My opinion: Better to go for Astor turbo else kushaq.
@@gyro3748 Thank you for the response. Before seeing your comment , I have decided to go ahead with Aster and made all arrangements for that . I'm happy to hear that Aster is not a bad choice . Since Turbo is costlier I have booked for NA .
No doubt, astor is a very good car, and but has its share of cons. You said Kushaq/taigun is only driver's car, not for family. This is totally wrong. They have a very good ride and handling balance and top-notch build and structural integrity. Despite some miss on interior quality, they still look premium enough (slightly lower than astor though, but better than most of the cars indians use and enjoy like honda, hyundai, etc.). Also, sorry to say this: your act of copying language and diction from autocar india will not help your channel. Better to be original and natural, and work on your language skills.
@@gyro3748 sorry if my comments did hurt. In fact, astor manual was one of three cars of my choice with others being jeep compass mt diesel and kushaq 1.5 mt. Due to lack of sufficient grunt in astor mt, I had to choose kushaq. All these cars are excellent, and offer a great value for money.
Current trip getting reset , after vehicle stop for more than 30min or so, is a feature and not a problem. If you want to have a continious trip details without reset , use the first option.
Got the point, Actually I own same vehicle and same variant as well. So just wanted to check whether did get u installed rear speakers? If so then could u plz make a video for that, or even if u got some extra accessories, a video ll be helpful for us.
People say even the Astor MT is underpowered & needs constant downshifts on highways, especially while overtaking. Is it so ? Secondly, What is the fuel efficiency in city & on highways ?
I would say, if your first criteria while purchasing a car is engine performance, then certainly you will not be happy with it. The engine does the fair job but it's not for the performance lover. Mileage in the city is around 9 , on highway 15-17 with AC and 90kmph cruise
Thanks for the comparison by bringing your driving experiences of other cars. I own a 2017 tigor and i m planning to upgrade. Should i go for Astor Manual? I want to know specifically noise and Vibration in cabin and performance of engine.

It's a cut above when compared to Tata and rather even better than Hyundai in terms of NVH level. However, you might not be very satisfied with engine performance. I didn't felt upgrade in terms of engine performance, bcz of heavy weight of this car.

It really feels good when you hear the same views from someone! I had the exact thoughts when I booked Astor which is yet to deliver.

If u drive regularly on hills then u should have gone for 1.3L turbo engine...

No bro mg has partnership with jsw so they are going to expand in india so no way of mg exit from Indian market
