I believe somebody made a subspace emissary hacked boss of giygas in which he destroys everything on the terrain which then you would have to fight on platforms
Let's face it, in a way having them portrayed as how they are is more epic than robots that look completely similar except for Ness's. Though I understand if you preffer them portrayed as robots. Some people also do a mix of both, where they are robots but then switch to their bodies to make it more poetic or epic or something.
Duster The Crippled Master Thief The reason Wess isn't a main party member is because Kumatora kicked him out of the main cast for being mean to Duster.
When you fight Giegue in Mother 1, he starts out angry when you sing the song of melody, but then he eventually gets emotionally weaker as you sing it more and more and comes to the point where he begs you to stop. That could've also been a very emotional final battle, if it wasn't for the limitations of the NES. Although Mother 3's final boss could be considered the most emotional of all, not to mention it was originally going to be a second attempt at imitating Mother 2's final boss, even though Giygas had already been killed at the end of the second game.

Is Giygas actually that terrifying? I've heard of how scary he is for a kids game but surly it's not something extreme enough for where if they made an HD version of him it could be M rated (I'm currently in the Lost Underworld by the way, so I'm close but not quite at the end yet)
Agreed man, what makes the original so good is that it suddenly goes from a classic 8bit theme to thrash metal, and none of these remixes really capture that transition well, a lot of them just go from regular song to regular song with some guitars, or they make the transition longer, ruining the whole point of the song really. As I view this song as marking a turning point. Earthbound no longer is a fun cutesy RPG with Ness and his friends, you’re about to fight the incarnate of evil itself. Also many of them do the 8bit part well but completely botch the metal part and make it sound really generic and not scary and shocking like in the original. For example, in this remix, the 8bit part sounds much more intense and epic than the metal part! No hate toward any remixers though, I understand they’re trying their best, but in this case, you can’t really beat the original.
This should have been in Smash Ultimate. With Cave Of The Past(I think thats what its called) as a stage and Gigyas(Giegue) as a playable(Scary form as final smash or in some of the attacks)

this is the first picture I have seen with giygas and the four heros actually robots. everyone fucking forgets they are robots.

I've listened to many remixes of Porky means Business, but nothing beats the original. The way the chiptune transitions to metal is awesome.
