I really liked the concept of Nightmare Knight used for the actual fight with the 'Knight' in Deltarune, so I tried my best to make a good interpretation!

knightmare is more likely to be in deltarune then penumbra phantasm honestly, of course i want both to be in but knightmare literally has knight in the name
it's a nice parallel to undertale's game over theme being asgore's leitmotif
@@groetaer i think its the opposite mainly due to the fact that the doctor motif appears in 2 songs in undertale, and the tweets and tumblr posts in 2011 that seems to reference toby foxes dream alongside penumbra.
i do hope nightmare knight appears though, especially since that too is referenced as motifs in some songs as well
either way, its too good of a song to leave behind lol

In a weird way this gives?…Inverse ASGORE vibes. Like it sounds far more triumphant and confident while his theme was far more melancholic. Dunno if that was the intention but that’s the vibe I’m getting-

Wait a minute, the way you add the motifs and mix it in in a genuine way really does exemplify the kirby influences. I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't hearing motifs directly from kirby itself. You did amazing on this.

@@a_guy_263 nope, Nightmare Knight was originally written for Cucumber Quest. When Toby fox wrote the song, he used the Kirby's Dreamland 3 soundfont. This remix of the song takes the Kirby elements and turns it up a notch.
@@Kayachlata lol i meant by this remake/remix, in the description it says that this creator wanted to fit it more for the "knight" fight in deltarune.

the first time i think i've ever heard a toby fox cover that completely surpasses the original. this is an utterly incredible cover of nightmare knight, from even the minor changes to the brand new additions that call back to deltarune motifs. this is legitimately superb. extremely well done on this one. what an absolutely excellent track.

I've read Cucumber Quest at its full thing for now, and i'm certainly obsessed with the Roaring Knight being a Nightmare Knight Character alike, like 90 or 100%, I really love this Character and I would love if this mere concept got to be true.
The Motifs of Nightmare Knight on Deltarune are one of the better things that can prove something like it mostly, that's why I love this version so much, Now I listen to this banger every single day, so thank you for making my days better and making peak like this with Toby's bangers, this it's my favorite version of Nightmare Knight so far, *for real yo!* 🐐💜🔥

This is by far the greatest rendition of this track I’ve ever heard. This sent me hurtling through the atmosphere to the edge of space and back, it’s just… one of the most dire and triumphant pieces of music I’ve ever heard. Fricking masterpiece.

It's going to be so surreal when the rest of Deltarune comes out. I wonder how on or off the mark these guesses at future content will be, and how they will compare to the real thing? Personally, I would be surprised if some rendition of Nightmare Knight doesn't make it into Deltarune. This song is very well done.
I can’t wait to look back on all of predictions and fan made interpretations of chapter 3 and see how horribly they aged! I mean that’s part of fun of it seeing lots of unique takes about stuff we only have little knowledge about and seeing how they hold up.
(Although they are probably gonna age better than the chapter 2 ones, man remember those?) but yeah I can’t wait for chapter 3 & 4. Hopefully soon!
I'm more interested on how Toby will make the story go considering that he gave the player an opportunity to make a different route, I'm assuming it'll all end in the same way, your choices don't matter

I feel like it will play into Noelle’s whole “glitch finder” concept.
(ice palace stuff & how the weird route feels like some sorta glitch and creepypasta) might even be necessary to FIND “HER” but given the recent newsletter I feel like we probably won’t have wait too long for some answers.
This made me feel like I did the first time I heard ASGORE, basically what sent me down the UT (and later DR) rabbit hole
hell yeah this one's got so much more "oomph" than the original; plus feels more at home in deltarune, nice work!

this actually isn't a fansong! it's a cover of Nightmare Knight's theme, a composition by Toby Fox for Cucumber Ques- okay nvm it _is_ a fansong, but not a _Deltarune_ fansong. still a fantastic cover though

OKAY BUT THIS ACTUALLY SLAPS THOUGH. I love the integration of the Deltarune themes And the harmony is legitimately brilliant. I especially like how it starts out dissonant and then gets really triumphant. Please keep making great music 🙏🙏
