- With Snidely and Ronald in prison. He works on a submarine inside of the prison cell. Hearing about this, Dudley goes undercover to look at the submarine Snidely Whiplash is working on.

I think this is one of the most confusing, yet funniest episodes. It has so many twists and turns, almost like some kind of comedic, madcap Twilight Zone episode, especially with that ending where it turns out the prison isn't really a prison after all.
The admiral reminds me of Ward's later creation: Cap'n Crunch.

Those were the good old days when all the animated villains had hook-nose and handlebar, saying the lines like "Drat, drat and double drat!" and "Curses; foiled again!". [SIGH] Those surely were the good days!
your refering to the second most well known villain in cartoon history in the first part, Dick Dastardly he is well known for saying "drat, drat, and double drat" the first being Snidely Whiplash

Oh oh, the warden became a prisoner!! Prisons do nothing to find out what causes people to become criminals and cure them of all of the problems that cause them to become criminals in the first place without causing or allowing new problems to take their place and are therefore dumb!!
