Sam’s vocals have improved so much over the years. I love that they’re continuing to evolve and incorporate things they done with this new direction. Also the lows YES! So underrated.

Architects are mostly metal-core, though they have experimented with some industrial type sounds. For a good variety of their sound progression, check out a anything from their albums all our gods have abandoned us, holy hell, a song called "impermanence", and a song called "deepfake". That'll give you a nice understanding of their vocal/instrumental range if you're interested!

Not the biggest fan of Architects, I only really know of their most recent albums and I know they are controversial, whatever. There's some good songs on there.
I LOVE this song. It's really good. The first thing I thought of when I heard those Gojira-esque Pick Scrapes I thought of the Spritibox Yellowjacket song which Sam featured on. He did a low on that too which surprised me, a lot more of them here. I'll have to check out more of their shit.

It's ironically heavy. The whole song is attacking old fans for criticizing them for not being heavy anymore, while being heavy. The blegh was ironic too. The song is childish and cringe, and an example of not how to do it. Other bands like Within Destruction have done a similar thing, but unlike Architects, WD took it in good humor and laughed it off.
I don't think Architects has grasped that it goes both ways. A band doesn't have a right to their fans liking their music, anymore than the fanbase has a right for the band to make the music they like. People didn't like Architects because its named Architects, they liked it because the music they created aligned with the music they like.
So your equating the old fans that criticize with the death threaters? Interesting...

@@HymnodicIt's sad you're too moronic to know which ones they are calling out. It's clearly about the people who sent the death threats, not the fans who just didn't like the sound. Quit trying to pretend your hate for the new music is valid by trying to act like they're attacking fans now. People who send death threats and who use their friend who passed away as a way to attack the new direction they've gone, aren't fans. And you aren't either clearly.
i mean…i’m sorry they couldn’t find it in them to laugh off people bringing up their dead bandmate and actual brother? listen to their old stuff if that’s what you prefer and learn how to express how you feel without getting personal and understand that your taste isn’t fact. that’s who they’re going after; if that’s not you then enjoy the song or go listen to something else. it’s easy.
I don’t think it’s cringe at all, I think it’s quite funny tbh. They’re getting constantly harassed by people claiming they’re “fans” and they lashed out? Shocking.
The funniest part to me is that most reactors & people on Twitter lack the self awareness to go “Oh, this is about me..” and are instead salivating at a song pandering to them sonically with overdone, generic 2010 metalcore tropes while completely shredding them lyrically.
