It should also include inches, feet, yards, miles. All countries have conversion charts and you can get imperial to metric conversion or American-imperial to metric conversion charts

I think the problem here is not only about accepting others opinion. 1. The trigger was careless speech on a sensitive topic, exaggeration, misinformation. 2. And Korean youngsters are generally not that experienced to foreign bath culture, and we are not fluent English users. 3. So Martina's "careless speech on a sensitive topic, exaggeration, misinformation." turned into misunderstanding to Korean youngsters here. In Korea, apartment generally means decent modern tall buildings. Language difference made it worse. In the end, some of our youngsters may felt they almost trolled to be popular in Japan. =( Funny, isn't it? I believe Martina and Simon's intention was not that evilish haha. But youtubers should think twice before making a video on a sensitive subject. I've lived in both countries and thought Japan's way better in a sense that people are really polite and are nice. Hate to be down on Korea but the people there tend to be a bit racist and aren't very nice to foreigners. Just my take but I recommend Japan by a land slide.

I would say about that, If you stay less than several months You will think Japan is way better because Japanese looks more polite and streets are more clean but if you stay more longer, you will feel more comfortable living in Korea rather than Japan

You guys may very be aware from looking at my name that I am indeed ethnically Korean, but I lived in Canada for as long as you guys have been in Korea. With that said, I couldn't help but notice that you guys don't really have a clear grasp of the Korean culture and its relationship between Japan. Let me make it clear that I have been to few cities in Japan and I do understand that the Japanese are generally more polite and that their cities are cleaner than Korean cities. Moreover I lived long enough in Canada to drive so I somewhat agree with your views about the driving conditions in Korea, especially in Seoul. Plus I watched a lot of eyk videos to know you guys probably didn't mean to denounce Korea at all... but despite the intentions this video really hit me hard. Let me digress for a little bit and tell you that both my grandparents grew up during the Japanese colonial time; I've been told many stories of that era, and how the Japanese put much effort into erasing Korean culture and its language. My grandfather was taught Japanese in school, and many of my relatives lived in Japanese styled housing. At that time, the Japanese government tried to denounce many Korean cultures and called them 'uncivilized', 'dirty', 'inefficient' and 'barbaric' to justify their colonial efforts. Our palace was burned to ashes, our queen was murdered, our names were erased to have Japanese names...... I am not at all saying Japanese people are evil and that they should be slaughtered for their misdeeds in the past, I'm just saying that many Koreans today still bear that painful memories of colonization. And really, the Korean War wouldn't have happened if Korea was an independent country in the first place - which is why many still have hard feeling for Japan. So after everything ended and when we finally gained independence, nothing much left. It took more than 50 years for Korea to feed its people and make it prosperous - and it's still in the process of rebuilding. Not just broken streets or buildings, but the overall culture lost in the past by the Japanese people. I am going to emphasize a bit and say "YES ALL KOREANS KNOW JAPAN COMES ON TOP IN MANY THINGS" - and should we happily praise Japan for that? Perhaps.... maybe in the future when many generations pass and forget about the colonial period. But we CAN'T because our grandparents lived through that time and it matters for us that they had been treated the same way as Africans, Jews, Europeans during both world wars. And It really hits us hard when some foreigner like you - who doesn't speak Korean at all - nonchalantly say some of the things Japan comes on top compared to Korea. WE VERY WELL KNOW JAPAN IS BETTER IN MANY WAYS!! BUT THINK OF THE REASON FOR THAT!! I can guess Simon might be reading this and saying "I've been Polish so I can feel the hardships, but aren't Korean people going too far with this?" Well, Korea has been a single country with single government for more than 700 years. We didn't have feudal lords unlike Europe at that time. Our philosophy of a single nation and identity was and still is very different. For Koreans losing a nation to Japan was much different from Europeans losing to Germany. For foreigners to say Koreans should grow up, It would be like me saying "Aren't African Americans going too far with racial discrimination matters?" without ever having been an African American. I watch a lot of videos of foreigners living in Korea, because I too have lived abroad and shared the hardships of being a foreigner in Canada. One thing I notice a lot about foreigners in Korea is that they never put much effort into learning Korean - which is fine! But saying stuff they barely know about and making it seem like it really is is another thing. Truth is, we wouldn't have been mad if it was 이다도시 or even 샘 saying the same thing you said because they know our language and they seem to have assimilated into Korean culture. Or maybe if you guys didn't have many followers on youtube. Or if you compared China or Taiwan to Korea. Overall, as a Korean fan watching your videos, this really has been the most ignorant one.....
And 1. Most of us have bathtubs in our homes 2. I even have a shower stall that doesn't flood every time I take a shower 3. If you take the more expensive black taxis, they wouldn't be driving as bad as the cheap ones 4. Japanese taxis are 5 times more expensive than Korean taxis - hence the better service 5. No, I don't see fliers in my neighborhood - I live in the suburbs (You probably see them a lot because you guys have a studio in hongdae) 6. If you can read and write Korean, you can search for affordable legit Japanese style sushi restaurants on NAVER - probably the reason why you guys haven't found one PS. when I was on a bus in Korea I saw two English speaking foreigners talking to each other and one of them said "I can't seem to find any cultural stuff to do in Korea". And there I was heading to watch a play in a theatre district in 대학로... you see, if you learn to speak Korean, it will definitely open up a lot more doors to new thing.

I've been in Sweden for a week, just as vacation and I'm from Germany. I have the feeling, that Germans are really sticking to social rules or in general rules as for example stopping at a red light. But in Sweden, especially Stockholm the people are simply walking through every type of traffic completely ignoring every traffic light there is. I was shocked for about two days... lol
I live in Sweden and I see that everyday, I mean they look both ways but like I usually try to wait but alot of times the traffic lights don't really work the way they should so it seems like people just stopped caring about traffic lights in general lol but thats just in the area where I live
As a Stockholmer(?) I know what you mean and unfortunately, I do it myself. It just feels like a waste of time to wait for green light if I know there are no cars coming.

I find the negativity so strange. Is it because I am Canadian? I mean, my country ALWAYS gets mocked, but we don't get offended by it. We actually laugh at OURSELVES. Yeah, most of what is said about Canada tends to be true. Like Tim Horton's, and being too nice, and saying "Eh" a lot (this one is not AS true). Does it offend me? NO. No matter who says it, whether it is an American (which I am expected to be offended about for some reason...?), a Japanese, a Whateverthecountryyoucomefrom. I don't understand how this can be "mocking". Mocking would be laughing at a situation that is in no way funny. Like mocking war. Noticing the differences is not mocking. Making a generalization is not mocking. Maybe I don't get the whole picture here, but I don't understand where the hate comes from. I know respect is a very important thing, but I feel like people should know when respect is a thing, and when having a laugh is.

Well, I guess I can't relate because I would not get pissed off at all. I'd actually be intrigued: where did you live to have no bathtubs? Gee, your place seems quite intense! Maybe because Canada is so big that there is no such thing as a "typical Canadian"? It's a bit like saying Americans are ____. The answer will be: WHERE in America are you talking about? Vermont? I do appreciate +Simon and Martina for their goofy and funny videos but there are many times they try to discuss more serious matters about the Korean culture/ppl/mindset yet they just lack the knowledge to do so in a good way. There are many foreigners in Korea who speaks very good Korean and have an excellent understanding, eg. some of the members in the Korean TV show Abnormal summit. They have the ability to discuss and express their concerns and criticize Korea on a much more mature, unbiased and sophisticated level. So i think I can somewhat relate to Korean ppl getting pissed since Martina do have a tendency to blurt out false stuff abt Korea that almost none of the Koreans here can relate to. If so many Koreans are saying that a lot of stuff in their videos are bs, then I do think its worthwhile pondering about that +Simon and Martina and not just display the "we are foreigners so please understand" card. 1) Farenheit and Celsius are both used in the USA, unlike Canada. Also, we measure things both in Imperial and metric systems- unlike Canada. 2) Forget culture shock between countries- lets talk about culture shock between STATES in the USA. I grew up in an Spanish speaking immigrant family in NYC. The culture shock when I visited Savannah, Georgia was HUGE. Manners are different, food is different and speech is softer and slower. I never really got over it!
+Edith Spencer In Canada we still very frequently use the imperial system to measure things. For example, a person's height is pretty much always communicated in feet and inches in common conversation, but it's in cm on official documents. It's very mixed. We use Celsius pretty exclusively for temperature, but most ovens I see in people's homes are actually in Fahrenheit for some reason.
+Noidatron Not sure this apply to all Canadian provinces, but there's also the weight of a person for which we often use the imperial system. I have no clue what my weight is in kg, neither can I truly represent myself how much a person weights in kg. I only know my weight in pounds and I'm only able to picture someone's weight in pounds as well. And also pool temperatures. I know what's the minimum temperature I'll think about stepping a foot inside a pool in Fahrenheit, but I have no idea what is an ideal pool temperature in Celsius. But the pool temperature might just be me behind weird as well haha.
+Cath J. Yeah, I would be willing to guess it's pretty similar in all the provinces. It's exactly the same for me--I only know my weight in pounds too. Couldn't tell you what it is in kg! On the other hand, I'm a lot more comfortable with km and km/hr when it comes to driving. Don't know anything about pool temperatures, but if I'm baking something in the oven, the temperature won't mean anything to me unless it's in Fahrenheit. But when talking about the weather, it has to be Celsius. Haha, we really need to make up our minds over here.

One thing that is so clear for me is: the girl on the right is seriously biased. I don't know about those 2 countries so I'm not gonna point out my disagreement or whatsoever about their statements. However u can see that the pink-haired girl said what she likes about Korea and what she doesn't in a smooth way, but the ginger-haired one is only pointing out the baddest of Korea and the best of Japan Please don't be so biased as it's only confused people that tryna get information for either staying or visiting a particular country.
MStilleto Maybe because it was supposed to be: Martina (as the K-pro) talks about Japan, and Rachel (as the J-pro) talks about Korea. it's just that Martina talked about good AND bad things instead of only 1, which Rachel did. I guess Rachel adapted to life in Japan really well (with J husband etc.) so she probably views the 'negative' things about Japan as normal by now. It can happen easily without knowing.

Personally I'd love to visit both countries one day and just because they've mentioned some bad things about each countries, doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to believe that the whole country is the same! It doesn't put me off visiting either countries too because each has different cultures. Isn't it called personal experience for a reason? They're not necessarily generalising about the whole country, but are talking about their experiences in both countries. Anyone would be smart enough to at least comprehend that they are talking about the differences in each countries, and not there to bash the country that they're talking about. So of course, they would talk about what stands out about each countries from their personal experiences - be it good or bad (to which they are taking about in this video). I also don't understand as to why a lot of people say "you don't know our culture' or "do your research' or "you clearly haven't gotten S.Korean culture right".... I'd like to know if any S.Koreans or any other foreigneers have visited/lived in another country and have done their so called "research" in DEPTH? Because I highly doubt it! Because when you go back to your own country, do you not talk about what stood out the most in your visit, be it good or bad? So i don't see why anyone has any right to be hypocritical? Seems like us Northern American peoples have a bit of a lighter sense of humor and ability to share opinions without taking it personally, unlike the rest of the world, judging by these comments. +Charlotte Schafer I mean, I would be offended if people say we eat raw meat and don't have proper internet connection in Canada (which people often say, and worst one by far is questions like "do you live in igloos?" or "own a husky?"). Why would they not have proper bathtubs and sinks? Rest of the statements I have no clue since i don't live in Korea and that's why I have been watching them, but from Korean community's reaction, it seems like she's pretty wrong. I just think Korean people just felt betrayed after all those korean related content she put out. But of course I'm not going to result to name calling and insulting because they said something wrong and I do agree with you on the fact that Koreans are going way overboard with their attacks (can't call them comments anymore).
I don't think that they meant to insult anybody. They are just stating what they see based on their own experience in the country. ( Without stating that it is the fact. I met and married my awesome Australian husband and moved from the U.S. to Australia 2 years ago. One of the most shocking things for me about living in Australia is the cost of living. It's normal for me to pay nearly twice what I payed in the U.S. for everything from housing to video games. Another thing I've had to get used to is the poorly built homes in Australia with minimal insulation and no central air conditioning. Summers are incredibly hot and winters are frigid both inside my home and outside. Holidays are also a little sad for me not just because I miss my family and friends most during that time, but also because Australians don't really celebrate them. Very few Christmas decoration go up in December, and they don't have an equivalent to July 4th, Thanksgiving, and they don't really celebrate Halloween. The amount of butthurt comments surprises me. Stop with the whole "they are anti-korea," they're spreading lies, they're being offensive. It's their own experience and their own perceptions.Of course you are open to disagree with them, and you could share your experience and explain why you disagree. However, insulting them and whining that they're annoying doesn't contribute much to the conversation. No one's country is perfect, so why is it that mentioning something unpleasant about that country (based on experiences) is rage-inducing? What's so wrong about not liking things about Korea and sharing it with others? They are not being racist or rude. They are not out to convince people that Korea is horrible. I'm honestly curious why people are so offended by a video that is suppose to be interesting not an informational video that strictly defines a country.

i recently visited japan and the subway is way confusing than in korea. in korea, there's only one kind of train in seoul and different train for provinces whereas in japan there are different subway lines everywhere. to add to that there are instances where in one line there are several kinds of trains that passes by (local, semi rapid, rapid). the train app in korea is also better because it even tells you which cart is the best that you can ride on to be near the exit/transfer. i think train/subway in korea is more tourist friendly than japan. but i enjoyed touring in both countries. 😊😊😊

A long time ago, Japan also had very colorful decoration on temples and even some other buildings, but repainting those decorations was eventually made illegal, so the colorful paint all faded away. You can still see shadow remnants of this in Kyoto and Nara. In Korea, they allow the temples to repaint every so many years, and even old government buildings, like the palace structures, are refurbished that way every so many years.
On the subject of taxi's. When I went to Japan last year we took a taxi to our Airbnb spot and the directions weren't the best so the taxi driver kept getting out of the car and checking every apartment building till he found the right one. He was so sweet. You'd never get service like that in America.
My Japanese Mom used to get mad at me because I spoke in higher pitch when I spoke Japanese... so she basically made me stop it. She said it was dumb that the women did that... granted she probably had an unpopular opinion... probably another reason she moved to the US...

if you're a foreigner living in korea you should've realized how sensitive comparing korea to japan was going to be. even if it wasn't meant to be a negative comparison, korea vs japan anything is going to cause some stir. next time i think you guys should be more thoughtful when you're going to post something with korea vs japan because you guys do represent foreigners in korea. it kind of puts you guys in a bad spot by doing so.
Definitely a difference I notice with South Korea and Japan is the intimacy levels with couples. Japan is very reserved and the lovey dovey thing I've seen Japan was hand holding. In Korea they are so cutesy, play fighting, saying names of endearment, etc. Another thing I notice was that Japan has so many convenience stores as there are beauty store in Korea (In accordance of abundance). And a gamer thing I've known about but was confirmed true when I visited is that Korea is that they are pc gamers. In Japan I was able to catch a few street passes everyday and see many merch as Nintendo and other known gaming companies are in Japan. In Korea, I remember going to an amusement park for a whole day and only received 1 tag from a little kid from Japan. I've also saw gaming channels in Korea for competition for games such as Hearthstone, LoL characters endorsing Fanta, and a very small section for portable gaming.

A major difference that I noticed which you havn't discussed in this video is the eating alone thing. In Japan it's very normal to eat alone in a restaurant, they even have special counters where must of the people will be eating alone. In Korea, however, eating in a restaurant is a lot more social, you will be there with friends or family but rarely alone. As a solo traveller, I prefer Japan for the dining experience, but I still love both countries, they're both amazing!

As a Canadian from a Hong Kong family, I find that Hong Kong and China are incredibly different culturally, despite both being "Chinese." I remember going to Beijing after I wrapped up my teaching contract in Korea and just going like "What the...?" at everything. Definitely not what I was expecting.

So, Me and my friend traveled to Paris, France for the first time over my birthday for a concert. It was 16th of January, and basically in Sweden it's snowing and is like -30'C (no joke), and I hadn't checked the weather in Paris (of course, Im not the intelligent one). So I had my thick winter-jacket,winter-boots, two layer with pants, a thick scarf and three layers of shirts on.. So we arrived to Paris, and since I was there to see the Kpop band FTisland perform there, I started queuing at 9 in the morning. After about an half hour I realize that "Heck, it's not even cold, why am i having so much layers on!?!" ... Basically, it was maybe -5'C or 0'C ..... It was bascially Swedish spring! IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY! THAT'S ONE OF THE CULTURAL SHOCKS I'VE EXPERIENCED.
I've also experienced really REALLY fast taxi-drivers in Italy last year... I and my friends were so scared we sat pretty much just quuiet and looked out throught the front window... We were sure we wouldn't be alive at the end of that taxi-ride. (no joke)
I lived in Japan for about 3 years when I was a little girl. That even though my parents are American and I was exposed to american culture, I had such strong culture shock when we moved back to the states. I remember thinking it so weird that Americans eat rice with a fork that now as a twenty-something adult I still won't eat rice with anything but chopsticks.
i went to south korea a few years ago and the honestly biggest culture shock was that i had lined up for a taxi for quite some time in heavy snow and two koreans (probably siblings) just straight up walked past me and my family along with all the other people queueing and got on the cab that we had queued for. i was like ?????? excuse me ?????? but other than the language barrier, korea was great nonetheless.
Culture shock : I'm from Greece and people here usually are VERY loud.. Like we talk to each other like we are screaming, we sing in the middle of the street, we always laugh like crazy people with our friends, etc! For me it's pretty natural to talk loudly! When we visited Austria with my school it was like the people were dead on the streets! There was no noise coming out of them whatsoever.. When we were walking outside of shops with my friends everyone was staring at us and we realised we were really loud, but it was our usual way of talking.. Same thing goes for Germany too :P
I don't know what taxis you guys were taking, but in my experience taxis in Japan are scary... The drivers are usually nice and talkative, but they zoom and whip through cars and run red lights like crazy.
As a Dutch person who has only traveled to different countries in (western) Europe to go on vacation there, I've never had a cultural shock; everything here is so alike.
I am Korean living in foreign country, and I will tell you all the truth, without any bias. I love Japan, I do not dislike their culture and I have been to Japan for more than 8 times. I really like Japan, so do not misunderstand since I will be stating the facts only. 1. Bathtub. I lived in Korea for 20 years, and I never experienced any house WITHOUT bathtub. Maybe she is living in very cheap place. I understand that living in foreign country might be hard that you choose to live in cheap place. That's actually very relatable, because I'm living in foreign country too. However, you can not judge every houses in korea with your narrow perspective. Korea has jjimjilbang and many other public bath systems as well. Even the airport has shower booths for people to use for free in korea. BAAM. 2. Subway people Yes, it is fact that some people push you and cut the line. And now I will give deeper information about this. This is not about young people living in Korea. Korea has world record of fastest development in very short period. Since Korea has developed in very short period, many people from older generation are having hard time to follow the new generation, which has changed very quickly. "Cutting line in subway" is derived from this matter. As she mentioned, yes, the Ajummas. It's sub culture of people from older generations. Young people follow and keep strict rules and they also hate the Ajumma behavior in public transport. Therefore it's too quick to state that every koreans push you aside and cut line in the subway, without understanding one country's history and development. 3. Sushi First of all, Sushi is japanese food. So yes, Sushi tastes better in Japan. Congratulations. ;) I'm still not sure about the point of comparing sushi in Korea and Japan while korea has it's own food culture lol. 4. The ad papers I've been to Japan more than 8 times, and yes, I have seen them in Japan too. Not disrespecting them at all, it's just happening all around the world. Martina sounds like every single towns and suburbs of Korea is dominated by ad papers lol. Well, it is not true. And I doubt that trained workers shoot the ad papers and put them in exact places. Still not sure why she is making fun of that, though. At least, I couldn't find any of ad papers in the town I was living in (강남 대치동, 마포 용강동). Well, I could find some in other areas in Seoul. And Im pretty sure it applies to every country lol.
김관수 of course Korea is different from Japan/China/any other country, every country is different from one another. You can't say that every Korean won't attack someone for their opinions or that they respect others opinions or "freedoms" (because in that case your country wouldn't be homophobic for example). Just because you may not attack people doesn't mean others will treat people the same, considering the amount of Koreans who post offensive comments on videos like this one. Yes you have the right to comment your thoughts but you keep forgetting what they're saying. These videos are based on THEIR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. These videos are based on what friends have told them and what they have seen, they won't necessary search for 100% information unless it's for a TL.DR. Also to say that they aren't doing it in a "Korean way" is quite idiotic. They aren't here to praise your precious country, they're here to tell us what they think, they shouldn't have to act a certain way to fit your standards (especially since the video is meant towards foreigners, not specifically Koreans or people from Japan)

But what I can say is that commenting on a person's video is NOT a basic human right, neither is having a conversation with someone because the other person might not want it. i m korean canadian born in korea. i see nothing wrong with them having opinions but these koreans on here act like no one can have bad experiences in korea. it looks bad so stop. when i was visiting, i was expecting to encounter angry ajushees since ive heard of many stories of drunk older ppl starting fights with younger western koreans.
Agree for Korean taxi. I took Taxi 3 times in my trip there. 1st one was horrible experience in Busan. He was an old driver and he cheated on change, then my friend & I asked him to return the correct change. As our voice was big, one Korean guy who passed by our taxi heard and he helped us to return the change back, also he apologized to us for taxi driver's behavior as a shame of Korea. I appreciated his help so much. 2nd one is a very good experience in Busan. Super nice taxi driver. Even now, I can not forget his face and really appreciate his kindness ! When I took the taxi and arraived in front of backpack place, which is located in the huge normal apartments, I could not find the room. Then driver kindly called to the backpack place and asked room number by his cell phone. I really wanted to show my appreciation, then as I tried to give him gratuity, but he never received it. 3rd one , not so nice, and in Suwon. He was angry ? or graumpy ?I don't know. But rough driving and did not say even Thank you, when we paied charge and took off the taxi, inspite we said thank you, 감사합니다 . Anyway, all experiences are interesting cross cultureal experiences for me ! :D

(이건 뭐 찬양하는 정도군요.) 좌측에 푸짐한 분 본인은 다채로운 색을 싫어해서 색이 다양한 한국의 절에 관심이 없다. 고 하셨는대 다채로운 색을 싫어하는 분의 머릿색은 어떻게 된것인지.. 내용으로 가서 이 영상물이 어떤 목적을 띄고 제작됐는지 알만하겠더군요. 우측에 흰티셔츠 입으신 분 한국의 사찰에 얼마나 가봤는지 모르겠으나 근래에 건축돼어 아직 유채물감의 번들거림이 짖은 도심에 위치한 절에 한두곳 가보고 이렇다 저렇다 평가하지 말고 한국의 전통적인 사찰에 가보고 평가하세요. 여러모로 졸렬한 영상물과 일본의 성지( 혹, 자국(미국) 진주만을 공습하고 태평양전쟁을 일으키며 수많은 미군을 죽인 전범들이 합사된 정국신사를 가르키는 후안무치 한 격인 표현은 아니겠죠? ) 라는 표현에서 실소와 함께 포복절도했습니다. 내 배꼽 어디갔나.. 그리고 이왕 한국과 일본에 왔다가따 거주하고 있으면 한곳의 편협한 시각으로 접근하지 마시고 제삼자의 입장에서 공정한 시각으로 양국이 주장하는 역사를 비교해보고 차이가 있다면 문화의 형성과정으로 누구의 주장이 더욱 타당한지 연구해보시길..

+Nidia Valle since you have internet access. You can google/search for "american conversion chart" it should tell you how many ounces are in a pound, how many ounces are in a gallon. It should also include inches, feet, yards, miles.
All countries have conversion charts and you can get imperial to metric conversion or American-imperial to metric conversion charts

but i must say, when people talk about japan, japanese people dont mind or get mad if you give your honest opinion or share your bad experiences in japan as compared to koreans... hmm. but i do love both countries :D
I think the problem here is not only about accepting others opinion.
1. The trigger was careless speech on a sensitive topic, exaggeration, misinformation.
2. And Korean youngsters are generally not that experienced to foreign bath culture, and we are not fluent English users.
3. So Martina's "careless speech on a sensitive topic, exaggeration, misinformation." turned into misunderstanding to Korean youngsters here.
In Korea, apartment generally means decent modern tall buildings. Language difference made it worse.
In the end, some of our youngsters may felt they almost trolled to be popular in Japan. =(

I've lived in both countries and thought Japan's way better in a sense that people are really polite and are nice. Hate to be down on Korea but the people there tend to be a bit racist and aren't very nice to foreigners. Just my take but I recommend Japan by a land slide.

uhh.. hi Simon and Martina! I've been a fan of you guys for quite some time and I couldn't help but give my first ever comment on your video here =). You guys may very be aware from looking at my name that I am indeed ethnically Korean, but I lived in Canada for as long as you guys have been in Korea. With that said, I couldn't help but notice that you guys don't really have a clear grasp of the Korean culture and its relationship between Japan. Let me make it clear that I have been to few cities in Japan and I do understand that the Japanese are generally more polite and that their cities are cleaner than Korean cities. Moreover I lived long enough in Canada to drive so I somewhat agree with your views about the driving conditions in Korea, especially in Seoul. Plus I watched a lot of eyk videos to know you guys probably didn't mean to denounce Korea at all... but despite the intentions this video really hit me hard.
Let me digress for a little bit and tell you that both my grandparents grew up during the Japanese colonial time; I've been told many stories of that era, and how the Japanese put much effort into erasing Korean culture and its language. My grandfather was taught Japanese in school, and many of my relatives lived in Japanese styled housing. At that time, the Japanese government tried to denounce many Korean cultures and called them 'uncivilized', 'dirty', 'inefficient' and 'barbaric' to justify their colonial efforts. Our palace was burned to ashes, our queen was murdered, our names were erased to have Japanese names...... I am not at all saying Japanese people are evil and that they should be slaughtered for their misdeeds in the past, I'm just saying that many Koreans today still bear that painful memories of colonization. And really, the Korean War wouldn't have happened if Korea was an independent country in the first place - which is why many still have hard feeling for Japan. So after everything ended and when we finally gained independence, nothing much left. It took more than 50 years for Korea to feed its people and make it prosperous - and it's still in the process of rebuilding. Not just broken streets or buildings, but the overall culture lost in the past by the Japanese people.
I am going to emphasize a bit and say "YES ALL KOREANS KNOW JAPAN COMES ON TOP IN MANY THINGS" - and should we happily praise Japan for that? Perhaps.... maybe in the future when many generations pass and forget about the colonial period. But we CAN'T because our grandparents lived through that time and it matters for us that they had been treated the same way as Africans, Jews, Europeans during both world wars. And It really hits us hard when some foreigner like you - who doesn't speak Korean at all - nonchalantly say some of the things Japan comes on top compared to Korea. WE VERY WELL KNOW JAPAN IS BETTER IN MANY WAYS!! BUT THINK OF THE REASON FOR THAT!!
I can guess Simon might be reading this and saying "I've been Polish so I can feel the hardships, but aren't Korean people going too far with this?" Well, Korea has been a single country with single government for more than 700 years. We didn't have feudal lords unlike Europe at that time. Our philosophy of a single nation and identity was and still is very different. For Koreans losing a nation to Japan was much different from Europeans losing to Germany. For foreigners to say Koreans should grow up, It would be like me saying "Aren't African Americans going too far with racial discrimination matters?" without ever having been an African American.
I watch a lot of videos of foreigners living in Korea, because I too have lived abroad and shared the hardships of being a foreigner in Canada. One thing I notice a lot about foreigners in Korea is that they never put much effort into learning Korean - which is fine! But saying stuff they barely know about and making it seem like it really is is another thing. Truth is, we wouldn't have been mad if it was 이다도시 or even 샘 saying the same thing you said because they know our language and they seem to have assimilated into Korean culture. Or maybe if you guys didn't have many followers on youtube. Or if you compared China or Taiwan to Korea. Overall, as a Korean fan watching your videos, this really has been the most ignorant one.....
And
1. Most of us have bathtubs in our homes
2. I even have a shower stall that doesn't flood every time I take a shower
3. If you take the more expensive black taxis, they wouldn't be driving as bad as the cheap ones
4. Japanese taxis are 5 times more expensive than Korean taxis - hence the better service
5. No, I don't see fliers in my neighborhood - I live in the suburbs (You probably see them a lot because you guys have a studio in hongdae)
6. If you can read and write Korean, you can search for affordable legit Japanese style sushi restaurants on NAVER - probably the reason why you guys haven't found one
PS. when I was on a bus in Korea I saw two English speaking foreigners talking to each other and one of them said "I can't seem to find any cultural stuff to do in Korea". And there I was heading to watch a play in a theatre district in 대학로... you see, if you learn to speak Korean, it will definitely open up a lot more doors to new thing.

you hate listening Koreans preeching we know that, we are not idiots and we are not try to teach the others, but if someone has interest about Korea then we just want to give them accurate informations so that either we change our system better or if there was misundersandings between eachother then we just want to solve it and move on.

We absorbed not only American modern ideas but also France and Germany and Japan and Russia so mixed it together with our traditions and finally made our things, that is our pride. we've made it together not by someones dictations that means we had tones of arguments which way is fit to ours better and we implemented so many foreign ideas to our society already so Westerners can talk anything if that idea is good we absorb if that idea is absurd we deny, that is just simple like this.
but we still want to go further so we welcome any idea from others, but If you say kimchi smells like shit so don't eat it then we are not going to change our way whatsoever. even though that is true to you. that is how we think.

I've been in Sweden for a week, just as vacation and I'm from Germany. I have the feeling, that Germans are really sticking to social rules or in general rules as for example stopping at a red light. But in Sweden, especially Stockholm the people are simply walking through every type of traffic completely ignoring every traffic light there is. I was shocked for about two days... lol
I knowww, in norway we also "follow the traffic rules" so its always a little bit confusing in the beginning whenever we go to sweden

Yeah, most of what is said about Canada tends to be true. Like Tim Horton's, and being too nice, and saying "Eh" a lot (this one is not AS true). Does it offend me? NO. No matter who says it, whether it is an American (which I am expected to be offended about for some reason...?), a Japanese, a Whateverthecountryyoucomefrom.

Maybe because Canada is so big that there is no such thing as a "typical Canadian"? It's a bit like saying Americans are ____. The answer will be: WHERE in America are you talking about? Vermont? Texas? New York? California? All of those are vastly different, and yet they are all America. The same thing happens with Canada... x100 since we don't even KNOW how things are in other provinces. I have NO CLUE about how things are in British Columbia. I honestly don't. I live in the province of Quebec and until last winter, I had NO CLUE what the other side of MY province was like.
What I am trying to say is that people here get offended, but they forget that those people are Canadian. In Canada, there is NOTHING offensive about talking about your country in such a way. It's funny. Even hilarious, dare I say.

Im half Korean by the way and it's like if I would go and live in Canada and I would start commenting with a salty tone how rude/disrespectful Canadians are (hence also bad parenting) because they dont show the same respect or manners towards elderly ppl/teachers like in Korea or how Koreans are so much more family oriented, caring and sharing people compared to Canadians who seem more individualistic, ungrateful and cold.
Now this kind of repeatedly salty tone of talking about a culture&people is touching the sphere of ignorance and naivety. I do appreciate +Simon and Martina for their goofy and funny videos but there are many times they try to discuss more serious matters about the Korean culture/ppl/mindset yet they just lack the knowledge to do so in a good way. There are many foreigners in Korea who speaks very good Korean and have an excellent understanding, eg. some of the members in the Korean TV show Abnormal summit. They have the ability to discuss and express their concerns and criticize Korea on a much more mature, unbiased and sophisticated level. So i think I can somewhat relate to Korean ppl getting pissed since Martina do have a tendency to blurt out false stuff abt Korea that almost none of the Koreans here can relate to. If so many Koreans are saying that a lot of stuff in their videos are bs, then I do think its worthwhile pondering about that +Simon and Martina and not just display the "we are foreigners so please understand" card. 1) Farenheit and Celsius are both used in the USA, unlike Canada. Also, we measure things both in Imperial and metric systems- unlike Canada.
2) Forget culture shock between countries- lets talk about culture shock between STATES in the USA. I grew up in an Spanish speaking immigrant family in NYC. The culture shock when I visited Savannah, Georgia was HUGE. Manners are different, food is different and speech is softer and slower. I never really got over it!
+Edith Spencer In Canada we still very frequently use the imperial system to measure things. For example, a person's height is pretty much always communicated in feet and inches in common conversation, but it's in cm on official documents. It's very mixed.
We use Celsius pretty exclusively for temperature, but most ovens I see in people's homes are actually in Fahrenheit for some reason.
+Noidatron Not sure this apply to all Canadian provinces, but there's also the weight of a person for which we often use the imperial system. I have no clue what my weight is in kg, neither can I truly represent myself how much a person weights in kg. I only know my weight in pounds and I'm only able to picture someone's weight in pounds as well.
And also pool temperatures. I know what's the minimum temperature I'll think about stepping a foot inside a pool in Fahrenheit, but I have no idea what is an ideal pool temperature in Celsius. But the pool temperature might just be me behind weird as well haha.
+Cath J. Yeah, I would be willing to guess it's pretty similar in all the provinces. It's exactly the same for me--I only know my weight in pounds too. Couldn't tell you what it is in kg! On the other hand, I'm a lot more comfortable with km and km/hr when it comes to driving.
Don't know anything about pool temperatures, but if I'm baking something in the oven, the temperature won't mean anything to me unless it's in Fahrenheit. But when talking about the weather, it has to be Celsius. Haha, we really need to make up our minds over here.

캐나다를 가 봤는데 말이 좋아 자연과 함께 사는 나라이지 그냥 발전 못 한 시골만 즐비하더라. 사람들 사이에 정도 없는 것 같고 땅덩어리가 크기만 컸지 고유한 문화도 발달한 기술들도 없어 허허벌판 그 자체였음. 활기도 없고 사람들은 조용히 걸어다니기만 해. 음식도 맛이 없고 메이플 시럽 말고는 내세울 것이 없는 나라더라. 그냥 땅만 거대하지 모든게 어중간한 나라인 것 같음. 이렇게 말하면 기분 좋냐? 내가 느낀 점이고 내 경험에서 비롯된거니까 오해말았으면 좋겠습니다^^

One thing that is so clear for me is: the girl on the right is seriously biased. I don't know about those 2 countries so I'm not gonna point out my disagreement or whatsoever about their statements. However u can see that the pink-haired girl said what she likes about Korea and what she doesn't in a smooth way, but the ginger-haired one is only pointing out the baddest of Korea and the best of Japan
Please don't be so biased as it's only confused people that tryna get information for either staying or visiting a particular country.

MStilleto Maybe because it was supposed to be: Martina (as the K-pro) talks about Japan, and Rachel (as the J-pro) talks about Korea. it's just that Martina talked about good AND bad things instead of only 1, which Rachel did. I guess Rachel adapted to life in Japan really well (with J husband etc.) so she probably views the 'negative' things about Japan as normal by now. It can happen easily without knowing.

Personally I'd love to visit both countries one day and just because they've mentioned some bad things about each countries, doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to believe that the whole country is the same! It doesn't put me off visiting either countries too because each has different cultures.
Isn't it called personal experience for a reason? They're not necessarily generalising about the whole country, but are talking about their experiences in both countries. Anyone would be smart enough to at least comprehend that they are talking about the differences in each countries, and not there to bash the country that they're talking about. So of course, they would talk about what stands out about each countries from their personal experiences - be it good or bad (to which they are taking about in this video). I also don't understand as to why a lot of people say "you don't know our culture' or "do your research' or "you clearly haven't gotten S.Korean culture right".... I'd like to know if any S.Koreans or any other foreigneers have visited/lived in another country and have done their so called "research" in DEPTH? Because I highly doubt it! Because when you go back to your own country, do you not talk about what stood out the most in your visit, be it good or bad? So i don't see why anyone has any right to be hypocritical? Any smart and mature person who might not like this video would calmly and maturely point out to Martina and Rachel as to how they would have done the video in a different manner and list out things in a constructive critisism and not just blindly comment about whatever 'feeling' they have at that moment. That's called irrational thinking, not opinion anymore. Because if you want your opinion to be taken seriously, then you need to have both sides of the argument and not just one.

Why would they not have proper bathtubs and sinks? I met and married my awesome Australian husband and moved from the U.S. to Australia 2 years ago.
One of the most shocking things for me about living in Australia is the cost of living. It's normal for me to pay nearly twice what I payed in the U.S. for everything from housing to video games.
Another thing I've had to get used to is the poorly built homes in Australia with minimal insulation and no central air conditioning. Summers are incredibly hot and winters are frigid both inside my home and outside.
Holidays are also a little sad for me not just because I miss my family and friends most during that time, but also because Australians don't really celebrate them. Very few Christmas decoration go up in December, and they don't have an equivalent to July 4th, Thanksgiving, and they don't really celebrate Halloween.
There are awesome things about Australia too; the Australian people are really cool and friendly, the country is absolutely beautiful, and my loving husband is wonderful. But I don't think it will ever quite feel like home to me.

i recently visited japan and the subway is way confusing than in korea. in korea, there's only one kind of train in seoul and different train for provinces whereas in japan there are different subway lines everywhere. to add to that there are instances where in one line there are several kinds of trains that passes by (local, semi rapid, rapid). the train app in korea is also better because it even tells you which cart is the best that you can ride on to be near the exit/transfer. i think train/subway in korea is more tourist friendly than japan.
but i enjoyed touring in both countries. 😊😊😊

looks like one is talking about Korea as a tourist and another girl is talking about Japan as a Japanese.
A long time ago, Japan also had very colorful decoration on temples and even some other buildings, but repainting those decorations was eventually made illegal, so the colorful paint all faded away. You can still see shadow remnants of this in Kyoto and Nara. In Korea, they allow the temples to repaint every so many years, and even old government buildings, like the palace structures, are refurbished that way every so many years.

On the subject of taxi's. When I went to Japan last year we took a taxi to our Airbnb spot and the directions weren't the best so the taxi driver kept getting out of the car and checking every apartment building till he found the right one. He was so sweet. You'd never get service like that in America.

if you're a foreigner living in korea you should've realized how sensitive comparing korea to japan was going to be. even if it wasn't meant to be a negative comparison, korea vs japan anything is going to cause some stir. next time i think you guys should be more thoughtful when you're going to post something with korea vs japan because you guys do represent foreigners in korea. it kind of puts you guys in a bad spot by doing so.
Definitely a difference I notice with South Korea and Japan is the intimacy levels with couples. Japan is very reserved and the lovey dovey thing I've seen Japan was hand holding. In Korea they are so cutesy, play fighting, saying names of endearment, etc. Another thing I notice was that Japan has so many convenience stores as there are beauty store in Korea (In accordance of abundance).
And a gamer thing I've known about but was confirmed true when I visited is that Korea is that they are pc gamers. In Japan I was able to catch a few street passes everyday and see many merch as Nintendo and other known gaming companies are in Japan. In Korea, I remember going to an amusement park for a whole day and only received 1 tag from a little kid from Japan. I've also saw gaming channels in Korea for competition for games such as Hearthstone, LoL characters endorsing Fanta, and a very small section for portable gaming.

A major difference that I noticed which you havn't discussed in this video is the eating alone thing. In Japan it's very normal to eat alone in a restaurant, they even have special counters where must of the people will be eating alone. In Korea, however, eating in a restaurant is a lot more social, you will be there with friends or family but rarely alone. As a solo traveller, I prefer Japan for the dining experience, but I still love both countries, they're both amazing!

As a Canadian from a Hong Kong family, I find that Hong Kong and China are incredibly different culturally, despite both being "Chinese." I remember going to Beijing after I wrapped up my teaching contract in Korea and just going like "What the...?" at everything. Definitely not what I was expecting.

So, Me and my friend traveled to Paris, France for the first time over my birthday for a concert. It was 16th of January, and basically in Sweden it's snowing and is like -30'C (no joke), and I hadn't checked the weather in Paris (of course, Im not the intelligent one). So I had my thick winter-jacket,winter-boots, two layer with pants, a thick scarf and three layers of shirts on..
So we arrived to Paris, and since I was there to see the Kpop band FTisland perform there, I started queuing at 9 in the morning. After about an half hour I realize that "Heck, it's not even cold, why am i having so much layers on!?!" ... Basically, it was maybe -5'C or 0'C ..... It was bascially Swedish spring! IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY!
THAT'S ONE OF THE CULTURAL SHOCKS I'VE EXPERIENCED.
I've also experienced really REALLY fast taxi-drivers in Italy last year... I and my friends were so scared we sat pretty much just quuiet and looked out throught the front window... We were sure we wouldn't be alive at the end of that taxi-ride. (no joke)
I lived in Japan for about 3 years when I was a little girl. That even though my parents are American and I was exposed to american culture, I had such strong culture shock when we moved back to the states. I remember thinking it so weird that Americans eat rice with a fork that now as a twenty-something adult I still won't eat rice with anything but chopsticks.
Lol I'm considered loud in America. Better start practicing being quiet 😂.

i went to south korea a few years ago and the honestly biggest culture shock was that i had lined up for a taxi for quite some time in heavy snow and two koreans (probably siblings) just straight up walked past me and my family along with all the other people queueing and got on the cab that we had queued for. i was like ?????? excuse me ?????? but other than the language barrier, korea was great nonetheless.
Culture shock : I'm from Greece and people here usually are VERY loud.. Like we talk to each other like we are screaming, we sing in the middle of the street, we always laugh like crazy people with our friends, etc! For me it's pretty natural to talk loudly! When we visited Austria with my school it was like the people were dead on the streets! There was no noise coming out of them whatsoever.. When we were walking outside of shops with my friends everyone was staring at us and we realised we were really loud, but it was our usual way of talking.. Same thing goes for Germany too :P

I don't know what taxis you guys were taking, but in my experience taxis in Japan are scary... The drivers are usually nice and talkative, but they zoom and whip through cars and run red lights like crazy.

I am Korean living in foreign country, and I will tell you all the truth, without any bias.
I love Japan, I do not dislike their culture and I have been to Japan for more than 8 times. I really like Japan, so do not misunderstand since I will be stating the facts only.
1. Bathtub.
I lived in Korea for 20 years, and I never experienced any house WITHOUT bathtub. Maybe she is living in very cheap place. I understand that living in foreign country might be hard that you choose to live in cheap place. That's actually very relatable, because I'm living in foreign country too. However, you can not judge every houses in korea with your narrow perspective. Korea has jjimjilbang and many other public bath systems as well. Even the airport has shower booths for people to use for free in korea. BAAM.
2. Subway people
Yes, it is fact that some people push you and cut the line.
And now I will give deeper information about this.
This is not about young people living in Korea.
Korea has world record of fastest development in very short period.
Since Korea has developed in very short period, many people from older generation are having hard time to follow the new generation, which has changed very quickly. "Cutting line in subway" is derived from this matter. As she mentioned, yes, the Ajummas. It's sub culture of people from older generations.
Young people follow and keep strict rules and they also hate the Ajumma behavior in public transport. Therefore it's too quick to state that every koreans push you aside and cut line in the subway, without understanding one country's history and development.
3. Sushi
First of all, Sushi is japanese food. So yes, Sushi tastes better in Japan. Congratulations. ;)
I'm still not sure about the point of comparing sushi in Korea and Japan while korea has it's own food culture lol.
4. The ad papers
I've been to Japan more than 8 times, and yes, I have seen them in Japan too. Not disrespecting them at all, it's just happening all around the world. Martina sounds like every single towns and suburbs of Korea is dominated by ad papers lol. Well, it is not true. And I doubt that trained workers shoot the ad papers and put them in exact places. Still not sure why she is making fun of that, though.
At least, I couldn't find any of ad papers in the town I was living in (강남 대치동, 마포 용강동). Well, I could find some in other areas in Seoul. And Im pretty sure it applies to every country lol.

You can't say that every Korean won't attack someone for their opinions or that they respect others opinions or "freedoms" (because in that case your country wouldn't be homophobic for example). Just because you may not attack people doesn't mean others will treat people the same, considering the amount of Koreans who post offensive comments on videos like this one. Yes you have the right to comment your thoughts but you keep forgetting what they're saying. These videos are based on THEIR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. These videos are based on what friends have told them and what they have seen, they won't necessary search for 100% information unless it's for a TL.DR. Also to say that they aren't doing it in a "Korean way" is quite idiotic. They aren't here to praise your precious country, they're here to tell us what they think, they shouldn't have to act a certain way to fit your standards (especially since the video is meant towards foreigners, not specifically Koreans or people from Japan)

김관수 I can honestly say that I don't understand about 80% of what you just wrote. But what I can say is that commenting on a person's video is NOT a basic human right, neither is having a conversation with someone because the other person might not want it. If EYK wants to delete your comments they have every right to do so, but before you start spreading rumours like this, get some evidence, because otherwise no one will believe you.
+Angelica Hjortberger If you can read and understand in Korean, you just know right away because a lot of Korean comment written in Korean is prove here. I believe my people more than random foreigner who lived in Korea just 7 years but still can not speak Korean.

i m korean canadian born in korea. i see nothing wrong with them having opinions but these koreans on here act like no one can have bad experiences in korea. it looks bad so stop. when i was visiting, i was expecting to encounter angry ajushees since ive heard of many stories of drunk older ppl starting fights with younger western koreans.
Agree for Korean taxi. I took Taxi 3 times in my trip there. 1st one was horrible experience in Busan. He was an old driver and he cheated on change, then my friend & I asked him to return the correct change. As our voice was big, one Korean guy who passed by our taxi heard and he helped us to return the change back, also he apologized to us for taxi driver's behavior as a shame of Korea. I appreciated his help so much. 2nd one is a very good experience in Busan. Super nice taxi driver. Even now, I can not forget his face and really appreciate his kindness ! When I took the taxi and arraived in front of backpack place, which is located in the huge normal apartments, I could not find the room. Then driver kindly called to the backpack place and asked room number by his cell phone. I really wanted to show my appreciation, then as I tried to give him gratuity, but he never received it. 3rd one , not so nice, and in Suwon. He was angry ? or graumpy ?I don't know. But rough driving and did not say even Thank you, when we paied charge and took off the taxi, inspite we said thank you, 감사합니다 . Anyway, all experiences are interesting cross cultureal experiences for me ! :D

위 영상물에 나오는 두분이 소개하는 한국과 일본이 차이를 몇편 봤습니다. 한국이 일본보다 성숙하지 못한 어수선함이 있음을 압니다. 그러나 어떤 의도로 위와 같은 영상물을 제작해서 소개하는 것인지.. 주관성도 결여됐고 그렇다고 객관성도 부족해 보입니다. 전체적으로 조건없이 일본이 좋다 라고만 보이는군요. 이러한 편협한 영상물은 무엇하러 제작하는 겁니까? 두분이 의도가 의심스럽지만 익살스런 표정들이 재미는 있군요. 일본인들이 좋아할만한 블랙코미디같아 보입니다. 한국의 절은 색이 화사하고 밝은 반면 일본의 절 성지는 나무의 색을 가지고 있어 자연의 일부같고 자연과 하나되는 느낌을 받으며 신비롭다. (이건 뭐 찬양하는 정도군요.) 좌측에 푸짐한 분 본인은 다채로운 색을 싫어해서 색이 다양한 한국의 절에 관심이 없다. 고 하셨는대 다채로운 색을 싫어하는 분의 머릿색은 어떻게 된것인지.. 내용으로 가서 이 영상물이 어떤 목적을 띄고 제작됐는지 알만하겠더군요. 우측에 흰티셔츠 입으신 분 한국의 사찰에 얼마나 가봤는지 모르겠으나 근래에 건축돼어 아직 유채물감의 번들거림이 짖은 도심에 위치한 절에 한두곳 가보고 이렇다 저렇다 평가하지 말고 한국의 전통적인 사찰에 가보고 평가하세요. 여러모로 졸렬한 영상물과 일본의 성지( 혹, 자국(미국) 진주만을 공습하고 태평양전쟁을 일으키며 수많은 미군을 죽인 전범들이 합사된 정국신사를 가르키는 후안무치 한 격인 표현은 아니겠죠? ) 라는 표현에서 실소와 함께 포복절도했습니다. 내 배꼽 어디갔나.. 그리고 이왕 한국과 일본에 왔다가따 거주하고 있으면 한곳의 편협한 시각으로 접근하지 마시고 제삼자의 입장에서 공정한 시각으로 양국이 주장하는 역사를 비교해보고 차이가 있다면 문화의 형성과정으로 누구의 주장이 더욱 타당한지 연구해보시길..
님의 의견이 이해는 됩니다만 한편으로, 굳이 무슨 의도가 있어야 이런거 만들수 있나요?

내 의견을 이해한다고요? 그럼 위 영상물과 같은 한국과 일본의 비교와 같은 공정성이 결여된 비교 영상물 만들어 배포하지 마세요. 당신들 영상물에는 한,일간 문화 비교가 아니라 일본이 그냥 덥어놓고 우월하다 그렇게 보입니다. 한국인 또는 일본인이 아닌 제 3자의 입장에서 공정한 영상물을 제작해서 소개하길 다시한번 당부드립니다. 한국이 조선시대에 중국에서 조차 버려진 유교를 국교로 지정하고 사대사상과 성리학을 추구하며 공업과 상업 그리고 무를 천하게 여기며 스스로 가난을 초래하고 문화를 발전시키지 못했지만 한국이 그렇게 일본보다 열등한 국가가 아닙니다. 일본의 고대국가가 형성될수 있었던 발단이 한반도도래인들의 선진문명에 의해서 국가를 형성할수있었고 일본인이 국보로 지정해서 보호하는 문화재들이 한국의 고대국가들에서 일본으로 전파된 것들이 태반입니다. 뭐 이미 편협한 눈으로 공정하지 못한 영상을 만드는대 이런 저런 진실을 알려준다한듯 이해하려 하겠습니까?
