0:40 Subtle but noticeable flaw. The pull out sound for the dual pistols has the character pulling back the slide of the Glock. In the reanimated version, he pulls them out without pulling the slide back, but the sound of the slide is still present.
Also, another problem that bothered me as the pistols didn’t make the proper noises as they were supposed to for example, the regular pistol that you equipment makes its proper noise, but when you do all dual pistol for whatever reason the Glock does the same noise as what the gun previously was so the sounds are switched. I don’t know if anybody noticed that or it’s just me
I think you can, but not that fast. Yeah, that animation is wrong. And SPAS 12 does not take shells in unless you press the button on the side of the gun. Many games get this wrong. So far MW2R and RB6S have done it right.
not really. the original gmae protrayed the mac (supressed smg) as an open-bolt (which is accurate), but the reanimated is now a closed-bolt. same for the uzi

Current default l4d2 gun animations are technically reanimated as well, it was done by the TLS team, like added complete animation set for both pistols, make most guns slightly less "stick in your face", and incorporated various elements from a mod named "overhauling the original"

That SPAS reanimating was just wrong. Semi and Pump action are separate modes meaning the pump action is locked when in semi. Should have applied the Combat Shotguns’s new animation. Outside that, where can we download? Everything else looked amazing!

I love the shooting animations, but i think some animations don't really go with the context of the game. For example, i like more the way the Desert Eagle is reloaded on the original because the survivors would probably never touched directly a Desert Eagle, so they don't have enough experience to reload it efficiently.

And even after the mod was fully done installing I had wait an hour for it to synchronize. Many mods crashed and some I had in my favorites folder where deleted by the “steam community”

Eh, they're just as goofy looking as the Valve anims. Some of them are very floaty and wobbly like some old COD animations, and some of them are as stiff and amateurish as the vanilla anims. A number of these are taken from KF2, hence the wobbliness.
I really like what they have done for the mp5, AWP, Scout and other counter strike source copies. It’s nice to see the remaster actually reload them differently than source lol
So, I found this by diving in, it got me interested Though, I have to say what I really liked about it, and some not so that bad problems I had with some guns OH, and also a detail you added; 1st off - I like the shotgun reload, both of them are great, problem is, well I got agitated that, there's no up-down pump like from the original (not saying it sucks, but still, Cool), also the reload is great. 2nd off: the detail of putting the bolt action snipers'..B o l t s- Ofc we always see some bolts or pulleys onto the left side (maybe some real life guns has these, but okay you can say mean things to me if I'm wrong), But you put it on the Right side which was a good touch because I watched Ferguson's video tackling C.S and it reminded me of what he said, Also good Snipers, can I say that they are high quality also for the other guns? *Bonus* 11:51 - See how he didn't fully healed himself? 11:56 - then he fully heals himself, how ironic that a mod completely heals the old irritating but lovable style of L4D2 into a fresh yet so good gun animations. I think the reason why the originals were animated so badly because the fancy animations would make you focus on your gun too much and honestly I’m glad they kept them simple so they’re not as noticeable

While in vanilla game the bolt reciprocating frontward, the reanimated reciprocating backward. So the original one got it right. 5:44 The Player seem didn't press the Mag Release button, so the mag can't be easily dropped like that. 8:45 The Player didn't press the Mag Release button, so the mag can't be easily dropped like that. 9:57 Button release didn't pressed again, and the bolt should be locked back. Also, while the AWP got the right model in reanimated, why this one is not? Not really a mistake, but why 11:35 Player's thumb didn't reach the hinge tube lol, it will not allow player to open the tube. Also, player didn't need to lock the hinge back because it will automatically locked when closed. Memes aside, it's nice to see how great the communities grew up. I hope I can play it again with my friend's computer. This game really brings up memory. It sucks that pandemic hold me inside my house and can't even play outside.
That deagle shove would realistically be like smacking someone across the head with a solid chunk of steel. Not even relating to the new animations, just something I noticed about the animations.
Sad to say that this the first reanimation that is worse than the original. All the slides on the pistols don't go all the way back, as well as the SCAR's. You've got the opposite problem with your SG552 when firing. The SG552 has the same Maglock mechanism as the AK, so it's reload anim is contextually still inaccurate. The Uzi SMG's cocking handle isn't supposed to move because it's an open bolt system. The SPAS-12 is angled in a way where we now can see the charging handle through a little hole, it's supposed to move but it doesn't. Dual Pistols resort to just throwing them out of view instead of actually reanimating them. You hide the AK's charging handle to save on animation time. There's no difference between the First Aid Kits reanim or not, why add it. The crowbar, machete, and frying pan animation looks stale as hell, and are ALL COPIED AND PASTED EXACTLY FROM EACHOTHER. ON THE GOOD SIDE, The AWP's charging handle is finally on the right side, the Hunting rifle's slide is actually visible and moving, and we got missing context for the pipe bomb (it's armed via buttonpress and that's nice to see)
I feel like the M1014 reload from CoD4 would fit in nicely as well but the animations are much nicer because I could never have the patience or skill for this stuff lol
You know, wish you could do a different reload to the SPAS-12. One problem is that the SPAS-12 is firing semi-automatic because there was charging handle like the original did but I wish you could look at that and maybe make the reload on it look realistic, but going with the routs fri previous game did are wrong.

The re-animated reload of the P220 looks very similar to the reload of the Chimano 22 from Payday 2.

11:35 Player's thumb didn't reach the hinge tube lol, it will not allow player to open the tube. Also, player didn't need to lock the hinge back because it will automatically locked when closed.
Memes aside, it's nice to see how great the communities grew up. I hope I can play it again with my friend's computer. This game really brings up memory. It sucks that pandemic hold me inside my house and can't even play outside.

Sad to say that this the first reanimation that is worse than the original. All the slides on the pistols don't go all the way back, as well as the SCAR's. You've got the opposite problem with your SG552 when firing. The SG552 has the same Maglock mechanism as the AK, so it's reload anim is contextually still inaccurate. The Uzi SMG's cocking handle isn't supposed to move because it's an open bolt system. The SPAS-12 is angled in a way where we now can see the charging handle through a little hole, it's supposed to move but it doesn't. Dual Pistols resort to just throwing them out of view instead of actually reanimating them. You hide the AK's charging handle to save on animation time. There's no difference between the First Aid Kits reanim or not, why add it. The crowbar, machete, and frying pan animation looks stale as hell, and are ALL COPIED AND PASTED EXACTLY FROM EACHOTHER. ON THE GOOD SIDE, The AWP's charging handle is finally on the right side, the Hunting rifle's slide is actually visible and moving, and we got missing context for the pipe bomb (it's armed via buttonpress and that's nice to see)

You know, wish you could do a different reload to the SPAS-12. One problem is that the SPAS-12 is firing semi-automatic because there was charging handle like the original did but I wish you could look at that and maybe make the reload on it look realistic, but going with the routs fri previous game did are wrong.
