Congratulation to Philippine. Hope this airport will bring more tourism to the country because Ninoy is too small and its runway is old style layout which bring the difficulty to operator.
Wow! Is Metro Manila going to be served by both newly approved Sangley and the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan which has just beginning land fill??? VERY ambitious...Metro Manila will have to be renamed Mega Manila!!! 💥🇵🇭💥🇵🇭💥🇵🇭💥
Well hoping that this would happen because two major international airports would serve Metro Manila one in Bulacan and one in Cavite. These airports would help in decongesting NAIA and help in growing our ecomomy.
Seems that the sangley airport will remain as a blueprint because the company who won the bidding has been de listed in the U.S. on the grounds of being connected to the Chinese government it's supposed to be one of the loan project from china but the department of finance announced that the sangley international airport will be put on hold until they find another company who is willing to take on the project.
It is a great idea because of the rapid economic growth of the Philippines. Mega Metropolis Manila needs three world-class airports: New Manila International Airport, Clark, and Sangley. NAIA, because of its cramped location can never be developed into a world-class airport. It is better suited as a commercial, residential, and entertainment hub similar to the BGC.

Why are we building too much international airport in LUZON, we already have Naia, Clark, the Smc airport and now this one? Why not build something in Visayas or Mindanao?
We already built new Airports and Seaports all over the country under Build3x. Hndi lng po masyadong binabalita. We also upgraded many old Airports in the provinces including our Zamboanga International Airport.
Bukidnon International Airport is now under construction.
I don't know, but having 4 mega airports -- in Bulacan, Clark, Subic and Paranaque, relatively short distance between them, is kinda overkill I think. Either just Bulacan and Clark, or Subic and Clark, and turn NAIA back to an airbase or for strictly domestic flights, would be enough and ideal. Just saying.
