Honestly, Fearless and Debut are super underrated, and it's making me kind of upset. I don't get how lots of people rank them at the bottom of their lists, which I think is so unfair, because A Place in This World, Picture to Burn and Our Song are iconic, (from Debut) and The Way I Loved You, Breathe, And Mr. Perfectly Fine and Fearless (From Fearless) are all perfection.
Agreed My favorite songs are in debut and fearless
2 of my favorite songs are from these albums, picture to burn and the way I loved you but I don't like several of the songs.

for me it’s low because it’s country and that’s not my taste in music but i do like some songs on those albums (mostly because it reminds me of my childhood.)
i still fee weird judging older albums + eras w/ becoming a swiftie in the midnights era 😅
it's definitely hard to judge people for their rankings because everyone joined the fandom at a different time, so obviously some might have a deeper connection with one album than others might not so I feel you haha
even though I joined around speak now/red era I was kinda absent during folklore's release so therefore don't feel as much love towards it so that's why it's low on my ranking haha!

My favorite album for Taylor is 1989 even though it is very hard to make a ranking because every album marks different special time on her career. I would say that every album is essential because it marks her growth ❤

My ranking:
1. 1989
Ever since it was released it has stayed my all time favourite Taylor album. Pop perfection. I could listen to just the instrumentals alone and it would still be at the top lol.
2. reputation
Simply an amazing album. I love the energy and vibe. No skips except for New Years Day and that's only because NYD is a mood song since it's slower.
3. Speak Now
This entire era is just magical. I can't even explain why I love this album so much. It's nostalgia and so many amazingly well written songs like Dear John, Last Kiss, Long Live, Enchanted.
4. Fearless
This is the album that made me a Swiftie. When it came out in 2008 I loved every song and that was when I decided that I was an official Taylor Swift fan lol. It still holds up today and I still love every track. The vault tracks I'm not so fond of and I always skip them.
5. Evermore
I'm an Evermore girly. Happiness just sends me to heaven. Such a beautiful song and I prefer more tracks on this album than a do on Folklore.
6. Folklore
Folklore simply has more skips than Evermore so it had to go below it. I love them both and they are essentially the same album to me. Both Folklore and Evermore are poetry and are by far Taylor's best work lyrically. They are both in the middle of the ranking because my music taste leans more in the pop direction production wise.
7. Midnights
Great concept album. The 3am tracks are the best part. Not Taylor's best work but I still enjoy it. Maroon and Dear Reader are my favourite tracks.
8. Red
I loved this album when it came out but listening to it now, there are a lot of skips. It's a very melancholy album and I'm often not in the mood for it. State of Grace, Red, All Too Well, Sad Beautiful Tragic and The Moment I Knew are the songs I listen to on repeat. I love the vault tracks but yeah, I don't really listen to the other songs that much.
9. Lover
Sorry, but a lot of songs on this album are just not my vibe and are very bubblegum pop. I Forgot That You Existed, Paper Rings, ME!. The others are kind of middle of the road for me. Not bad, but not amazingly good either. The gems of this album are Miss Americana, False God, Death By a Thousand Cuts, Daylight and Cornelia Street. They are the only songs I truly go back to, the others are kind of meh. I appreciate the album as a whole but it's just not one I can listen to in full.
10. Debut
I really like this album and I don't skip any songs if they come on but her other work is just better, which is a given since she's only young when she wrote this one.

I completely understand your rankings and honestly I feel like my album rankings change constantly. depending on what im going through, what is happening in my life, and how I relate to certain songs. right now its
1. folklore (unmatched. lyrical genius. masterpiece. tugs at your heart)

for me personally, this is my most recent rankings :)
1- folklore. the first songs i listened to like properly, were all from folklore (mirrorball, this is me trying, and my tears ricochet) and i’ve always had cardigan at my top song so it’s just a no brainer for me. i love ALL the song in there
2- evermore. it has similar vibes as folklore, so it suits my music taste even though it’s soo different like i see evermore as adult grief and troubles, whereas folklore is like childhood/teenage depression etc y’all kinda get me? same as folklore, i love all the songs
3- midnights. i got back into taylor around when she released midnights, and i really enjoy it especially you’re on your own kid and snow on the beach are just like 🫶🫶 to me
4- 1989. so many great songs, out of the woods, clean, wildest dreams, you are in love, new romantics, and it’s most of the others are really connected to my childhood memories so :)
5- speak now. again, there are soooo many good songs on there, like it’s just amazing! i don’t have to name them cos i’ll be naming them all
6- lover. i’m not really like a love person, so my favourite ones are the archer, it’s nice to have a friend, false god, i think he knows, death by a thousand cuts, and ma & thp:) it’s an amazing album
7- debut. it’s really underrated which is sad and if i could give it a higher spot, i would. i’m not a very country person but i love the violin and the style she sings in for them. also, tied together with a smile is an absolute masterpiece. and mary’s song, and should’ve said no, and our song, tim mcgraw, invisible agh they’re so good
8- red. i haven’t fully listened to red yet ( i don’t have 2 hrs much) so again i cant really rank it against some of these, but when i can i will. there’s a lot of great songs that i have heard, and they’re connected to my childhood so it’ll probably rise :)
9- reputation. i’ve listened to most of it, but for me it’s not my music taste so i’m putting it here. i really appreciate the album itself, i just don’t really relate to any of the songs so yeah
10- fearless. great album, i appreciate it a lot but again not my music taste. it’s got a lot of great songs but they’re not in my top so sadly i’m putting it here

It's tough to rank them, but a lot, in my opinion, has to do with when you first started listening to Taylor, plus obviously your genre preferences since she differs so much there. And then there's the albums themselves, the strength of the songs, if you skip any, its cohesiveness as an album. I started with 1989 a bit, but didn't start doing a deep dive until Folklore.

Okay this is gonna be SO SO hard but my first fav album is…
1989 (Taylor’s Version) it just hits different in my opinion something about it and i also LOVE the album cover as well it’s so magical and blue! 🩵
My second fav is Speak Now tv, the dress and the Eras Tour Dresses are BEAUTIFULL and i love Enchanted and if you listen to it and the stolen version you can really see how her voice changed over the years, and Long live and better than revenge SO GOOD 💜
My third fav is Lover the clouds are so aesthetic and my fav colour is pink so kinda matches i love it and some really AMAZING songs are in Lover like Cruel summer and me, you need to calm down just so much! 🩷
Fourth fav is PROBABLY Midnights, its amazing, just amazing and i love Taylor’s Eras Tour outfits for it!!
Reputation is my fifth fav the songs are like so powerful Idk why but yea i love it
My sixth fav is probably fearless i love it but…idk!! but i DO love it.
My 7th fav is debut, i love debut, but yeaa….
My 8th is red, i love 22 and all too well and we are never ever getting back together though!
My 9th is evermore, and my least fav is evermore ik a lot of people love evermore, its great but something about it, i love it though still

I wanna also say that I love all her albums but I mostly rank them by how much I go back to them and it does change with re-records and new albums and some of them shift with mood too. Each album brings something different to the table and each has at least 5 songs I could never live without!
10. Debut - I have loved this album since I first got it but I do go back to the album as a whole the least
9. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) - I had Fearless as my least favorite album until Taylor’s Version came out because it had less of my favorite songs between her “weaker” vocals of her youth still amazing still has some of my all time favorite songs
8. Lover - Just isn’t so much my style for about half the album but sometimes I do just listen to the whole thing minus the singles cause I like them occasionally but they pale in comparison to the non-singles from the album
7. Speak Now - I am almost positive that Taylor’s Version will shoot it up higher once it comes out, but I just find myself less drawn to the album as a whole and mostly just specific tracks
6. 1989 - I may loose my mind when Taylor’s Version finally comes out just from the vault tracks existing! This is the first No-skips for me
5. Midnights (3am edition) - Which has some of her best songs ever but I am almost definitely suffering from recency bias for but it’s just how I feel
4/3 Folklore/ Evermore - Now I think this and Evermore are such close sisters that they must be talked about together. Folklore as a top to bottom album is one of the best albums in existence, Evermore though has more songs that speak to me specifically and so I rank it higher technically.

Red (Taylor’s Version) - Red was my favorite Taylor album for like 5years, The Moment I Knew was my favorite Taylor song for a decade till Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve came out, I have a lot of personal memories attacked to it, and I can turn this on basically any time and listen to the album front to back even the devastating stuff but my all time favorite is …
1. reputation - ! This album is just my two moods, soft and loving vs. I will kill you and you will like it! The album itself is amazing with a no-skip vibe high highs and an intimate looks into Taylor’s true life since she really “blew up” with 1989. It just was also perfect for my life when it came out and that is definitely a factor

2. evermore - love the tonal differences with the lyrical depth of folklore

5. 1989 - i think i LIKE lover more than this, but cohesively and objectively 1989 is just better

folklore (the first album I listened to & her BEST WRITING)
reputation [such a fun experience to hear every time and it's a great era. (Super jealous of anyone who went to this tour)]
Speak Now (this album is so special to me and I cant explain it. Maybe it helps that Taylor wrote it solo)
Lover (this album is devastatingly UNDERAPPRECIATED. Many people don't like the singles bc of the message, but even beyond that, they didn't give the other songs a chance. And I LOVE the singles too)
Love this sm BUT also you should give Debut, Fearless, and Red a chance seriously such amazing song writing😭
