As others have said, when you get that Strimmer running they can be dangerous & throw debris quite a distance (I've seen quite a few broken windows with them) so get some face / eye and also leg protection and keep cute little Richie well out of the way, preferably indoors.
Im 69 and have the same trimmer as you. I love it. Put on ground. Put ON switch on broom handle and click it to lock. Put ON switch on engine to let fuel into pump. Pump “3 times only” on rubber petrol bubble. Pull string. If it starts and turns off. Put engine switch back the other way, check that stem lock is on and pull again. The engine can flood if you pump the bubble again. Let it rest. Try all is that again. Your machine will love you once you know how it works. Good luck and God bless

Hi Vita, Your fish soup looks pretty good. as for fire please put the cardboards on the bottom and the big pices of the wood on top of cardboards with some space in between them so the oxygen can get in there. Try your fish soup with some lime or lemon and a piece of bread😊 Your whole system is improving a lot.

Those weed whackers as we call them, are not easy to start…. Normally, prime with little mechanical fuel pump pushbutton, set to about half speed on throttle and then pull a few times. Some have a automatic choke, others have a manual choke ❤❤❤
. . . . and a manual choke is operated by a little lever on the carburetor. If motor has a manual choke and if If the motor is cold then that lever needs to be in the closed position in order to be able to easily start the motor. Once the it sputters to life, immediately move the choke lever to the open position. 'Open' and 'closed' positions are often shown by markings next to the choke lever.

To reduce smoke I used more wood and less cardboard and kindling. I let the wood make hot coals before I cooked. Still cooking over wood is smokey. In my opinion (and I was often right in last 2,5 years - I was also right with the date of the beginning of the invasion) the Ukrainian army is preparing a big trap for Russians in the region of Pokrowsk. The Kursk offensive is to force Russians to put away soldiers and equipment from Eastern Ukraine. Which is the preparation for the trap at Pokrowsk. If it works: great. If not: it was worth to try as it is the only way how to win wars. And look how Lukashenko is nervous from Kursk offensive - it says a lot.

I hope you can continue this nice hobby 🙏🫶 But if you were thinking of cooking more outside, you should only use firewood in the outdoor fireplace🔥. They provide better heat and the food will cook for sure. I only use cardboard as kindling. The cardboard just smokes 🔥🌪️ and the smoke contains a lot of toxins👎 from the dyes in the cardboard. And the fire is not warm enough for cooking. I hope you understand, what I mean 😊. I agree about wearing pants, I have a scar on my lower leg because my arms were so tired from trying to start the darn weed whacker! and loss control! I now have an electric (battery) whacker😊
@@rogerjackson484 That's good advice. Something I just thought of is 'keep your mouth shut while cutting'. With Richie and other neighborhood dogs around, she doesn't want to be surprised finding any of their 'treasures'. I had a friend learn that lesson the hard way. I had suggested she get a trimmer some time ago. I didn't think she'd get the biggest one they had, though. With that brushcutter, she can put a blade on and take down small trees.

Thanks for the video Vita 😊 My experience and advice on open fire cooking is you need to start the fire 45-60 minutes before you start and make sure there are a lot of hot coals to cook on so you are cooking with heat and not open flame, you will probably have to put your pot lower and closer to the hot coals. If you have time ( I know you stay busy) Read up on Dutch Oven Cooking, you can put a cast iron pot directly in the hot coals to cook. That weed whacker is a beast, I use a trimmer frequently in the growing season and I use rubber boots (the ones designed for walking in water) I tuck my pant legs into the boots, also wear a long sleeve shirt and most importantly use a full plastic face mask to protect your face and especially your eyes, those trimmers can pick up small rocks and debris and fling them right into your eyes or face, lastly plan on having a set of green pant legs when your done trimming 😂 Please take care, get yourself a generator as cold weather is rapidly approaching, a generator will make your life easier in the winter and your children can at least play their video games and feel some sense of a normal childhood. It angers me at how many childhoods have been stolen by Russia as well as innocent lives lost.
About the not starting brush cutter, anyone who knows some stuff about engines can fix this in 5 minutes. Find a local and pay the fare in money or wodka. You will love this machine, it will make life better for you.

Two stroke fuel does not age well. It is best freshly mixed. Always empty out old fuel and put in new. To help starting pressure pack cans of ether can be purchased a couple of sprays into the air intake usually helps start it.....good luck 🍀😊

It is amazing to me that this is the first time you have cooked over an open flame. In the Boy Scouts we did it when I was very young. My uncle used to roast a whole lamb over an open fire in the back yard for Easter every year. I remember that especially because all of us kids had to take turns turning the lamb. It was fun. I still have a fire pit (a bit of ground with one layer of stones surrounding it) that my sons used to use to cook over.

The petrol strimmer you tried to start... It needs petrol with 2 stroke oil at the correct mixture for fuel; (typically 40:1) without the oil it will run too hot and the motor will die, too little or too much and it will be difficult to start and run correctly. It should have an 'ignition switch' and a 'fuel on' switch and these usually have a 'choke' setting too. When cold, set it to full choke. It will also have a fuel prime bulb (typically see through so you can see the fuel is getting to the carburetor; you need to press the bulb a good 5x before then pulling the cord. If it doesn't start - press it a couple more times. They usually start then cut out; that's when you reduce the choke a little and keep pulling till it starts. When it's running - turn the fuel switch to normal (no choke at all) & it will run. These things often get long grass or nettle stalks wrapping around the cutting head - which causes them to stall and cut out; you'll learn how to cut the plants back with it without this happening but it takes time and lots of practice... After the war, Ukraine can set up a recycling system in which there are no more open garbage dumps. For example, combustibles can be fed into thermal power stations for thermal recycling, and other things can be fed back into other products as raw materials. Hi Vita, Your fish soup looks pretty good. as for fire please put the cardboards on the bottom and the big pices of the wood on top of cardboards with some space in between them so the oxygen can get in there. Try your fish soup with some lime or lemon and a piece of bread😊 Your whole system is improving a lot.

Those weed whackers as we call them, are not easy to start….
Normally, prime with little mechanical fuel pump pushbutton, set to about half speed on throttle and then pull a few times.
Some have a automatic choke, others have a manual choke

. . . . and a manual choke is operated by a little lever on the carburetor. If motor has a manual choke and if If the motor is cold then that lever needs to be in the closed position in order to be able to easily start the motor. Once the it sputters to life, immediately move the choke lever to the open position. 'Open' and 'closed' positions are often shown by markings next to the choke lever.

To reduce smoke I used more wood and less cardboard and kindling. I let the wood make hot coals before I cooked. Still cooking over wood is smokey. In my opinion (and I was often right in last 2,5 years - I was also right with the date of the beginning of the invasion) the Ukrainian army is preparing a big trap for Russians in the region of Pokrowsk.
The Kursk offensive is to force Russians to put away soldiers and equipment from Eastern Ukraine. Which is the preparation for the trap at Pokrowsk. If it works: great. If not: it was worth to try as it is the only way how to win wars.
And look how Lukashenko is nervous from Kursk offensive - it says a lot.

And the fire is not warm enough for cooking.

Thanks for the update, Vita. Good luck with your new string trimmer. They can be hard to start. Make sure you have some hearing protection, they are loud. Also, wear long pants. @@rogerjackson484 That's good advice. Something I just thought of is 'keep your mouth shut while cutting'. With Richie and other neighborhood dogs around, she doesn't want to be surprised finding any of their 'treasures'. I had a friend learn that lesson the hard way. I had suggested she get a trimmer some time ago. I didn't think she'd get the biggest one they had, though. With that brushcutter, she can put a blade on and take down small trees.

Thanks for the video Vita 😊 My experience and advice on open fire cooking is you need to start the fire 45-60 minutes before you start and make sure there are a lot of hot coals to cook on so you are cooking with heat and not open flame, you will probably have to put your pot lower and closer to the hot coals. If you have time ( I know you stay busy) Read up on Dutch Oven Cooking, you can put a cast iron pot directly in the hot coals to cook. That weed whacker is a beast, I use a trimmer frequently in the growing season and I use rubber boots (the ones designed for walking in water) I tuck my pant legs into the boots, also wear a long sleeve shirt and most importantly use a full plastic face mask to protect your face and especially your eyes, those trimmers can pick up small rocks and debris and fling them right into your eyes or face, lastly plan on having a set of green pant legs when your done trimming 😂
Please take care, get yourself a generator as cold weather is rapidly approaching, a generator will make your life easier in the winter and your children can at least play their video games and feel some sense of a normal childhood. It angers me at how many childhoods have been stolen by Russia as well as innocent lives lost.

About the not starting brush cutter, anyone who knows some stuff about engines can fix this in 5 minutes. Find a local and pay the fare in money or wodka. You will love this machine, it will make life better for you.
If you have it running I can give you tips and tricks to keep this China 2 stroke "workhorse" in condition.

Two stroke fuel does not age well. It is best freshly mixed. Always empty out old fuel and put in new. To help starting pressure pack cans of ether can be purchased a couple of sprays into the air intake usually helps start it.....good luck 🍀😊

If a two Stroke U must mix the Petrol with Two Stroke oil in Correct Proportion . Fill with fuel ,,Prime the System with fuel from pump ,plunger or Bubble until firm . Perhaps manual Choke ,So Close fully ,pull Chord until it kicks or fires once ,then open the choke halfway ,then pull Chord again & when going, shut Choke off.
ONCE GOING U will be Amazed at What it will do for U ? I think also ,to avoid injury ,put yr harness & belt on & hook up to machine to carry the weight of yr machine !

It is amazing to me that this is the first time you have cooked over an open flame. In the Boy Scouts we did it when I was very young. My uncle used to roast a whole lamb over an open fire in the back yard for Easter every year. I remember that especially because all of us kids had to take turns turning the lamb. It was fun. I still have a fire pit (a bit of ground with one layer of stones surrounding it) that my sons used to use to cook over.
Maybe...with the "strimmer" machine, there is a tap to turn on the petrol?

The petrol strimmer you tried to start... It needs petrol with 2 stroke oil at the correct mixture for fuel; (typically 40:1) without the oil it will run too hot and the motor will die, too little or too much and it will be difficult to start and run correctly. It should have an 'ignition switch' and a 'fuel on' switch and these usually have a 'choke' setting too. When cold, set it to full choke. It will also have a fuel prime bulb (typically see through so you can see the fuel is getting to the carburetor; you need to press the bulb a good 5x before then pulling the cord. If it doesn't start - press it a couple more times. They usually start then cut out; that's when you reduce the choke a little and keep pulling till it starts. When it's running - turn the fuel switch to normal (no choke at all) & it will run. These things often get long grass or nettle stalks wrapping around the cutting head - which causes them to stall and cut out; you'll learn how to cut the plants back with it without this happening but it takes time and lots of practice... That fish soup looked delicious! Best of luck to you ♥

After the war, Ukraine can set up a recycling system in which there are no more open garbage dumps. For example, combustibles can be fed into thermal power stations for thermal recycling, and other things can be fed back into other products as raw materials.
