This guy has mastered the art of keeping his mouth shut and it saved him inordinate amounts of money while Kevin and Lori fought it out to the bottom.
Actually it did not, all it did was prolong the length it was to repay the loan. It eases his COGS, but the sharks still get 3x initial profit. Edit: Just finished the video and saw they jumped to equity.

the show is heavily edited. a 2hr pitch is cut into 10 minutes and they film 8 episodes a day. the cuts and reactions are used interchangeably from every pitch. Do you really think a guy that was this respectful answered Mark with that while telling Robert he really appreciated his time.

If I was him I would have let Kevin and Lori each have 20%, plus a royalty of 25 cents until they each get back a million, and I would ask each of them to outsell the other, and whoever does keeps the royalty of 25 cents forever, and since they are both so interested, it would have been interesting to see how big his company could have gotten if Lori and Kevin were both trying to outsell eachother.
