Rice or not I love Hondas. Its what got me into cars. I love all types of cars(import, domestic, some exotic cars) but my love for cars started with the Honda civic. That is one of the reasons I joined the Army to become a wheeled vehicle mechanic. 91Bravo

Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 turbo's with NOS's and a Motec System Exhaust.
how can you hate on Honda I like them hell the company created the nsx the S2K SI TYPE R and spoon and mugen like if your real car guy you show respect for all cars not just one make

Not conversions buddy, most integras in the U.K are imported from Japan
Ah, I see. I the USA all we have by default are the circular headlights, so when you see the "JDM" headlights in the USA they are often converted.
Yeah, all the integra's sold in the U.K had them headlights, we only got the type r too.

vasemntz projectz "speacially hondas".. Not hating on Hondas at all, i mean i appreciate every manufacturer equally, but its not only Hondas that take time... Its only a matter of the person and how much time they are willing to spent, regardless of the make and model.
Some people value their cars more despite what it retails for, i'd rather have a 97' RX7 instead of a 80k BMW.

Im all for a big V8.
Im also all for a smaller 1600 4 cylinder.
If it looks good or is putting down alot of power who the fuck cares where its from.. and if you can build a car that looks good AND has alot of power well then props to you.. but in your never ending debate over what better US or JDM.. Well someone please explain to me why none of these big V8 power houses were available to buy in the UK? Or the majority of the word for that matter? Yet near enough every JDM car was available to buy right across the planet. Reason being no one really wants a big unreliable yank V8 that does 6 to the gallon on a good day and has a larger turning circle than Boeing 747. Not when you can have a smaller engined much more reliable jap car that has similar power figures and handling capabilities only god can match.

I will debate. Yeah, the early big v8s of the 60s 70s were probably getting 6-12mpg. Now, you can get buy them getting 18-22mpg. All I have to say, is if you want to dive around and have fun on the street, thats fantastic, any street car can beat another with more modifications. Now, lets talk racing. why is it that most professional circuit race cars, use big V8s instead of 4 bangers? Le Mans for instance. Okay there are some porsche inline 6's, some V8s, some V10 and 12, but last time I checked, there were no 4 cylinders keeping up? Also, drag racing, all V8s in the big boy top fuel dragsters. no 4 bangers there either. Simple enough. 4 cylinders up to 12 cylinders are great on everyday roads, and anywhere from 6-12 cylinders are best for the tracks and compete in the highest categories.

+Charles Garcia honda has been/is involved in or make the following; formula 1, indy, motogp, rally, touring cars, le mans, marine engines, robotics (asimo - most advanced robot to date), aviation (yes they build jets), etc. they have more of a racing background than any japanese manufacturer. they were racing bikes and were in f1 before they built passenger cars. so how can you consider them to be the worst?
its usually the younger gen that thinks civics is all that honda does, not knowing how deeply involved in racing they are.
+dvtc8u I respect Hondas racing divisions. The F1 car needs alot morr development as that engine isn't making enough power. As far as civics go, people genuinely believe they are fast, and thats why I hate civics
+Charles Garcia they are fast for the displacement they have. their lightness makes for a good base which is why some use them for track or time attack events. honda produced a civic type r which was never released internationally, but it outran a gtr, even an nsx, factory stock. the newest civic type r is currently doing this..
