As a former full time RVer, all that beautiful wood has added a ton of weight. Mileage is going to be low. Some thought to using other materials may have lightened it up a bit.

Мы реально живем в симуляции. Фактов немеряно. Выложил на своем канале. А такие ролики матрица рисует для вдохновения игроков, которых здесь не больше 5%. Остальные - бот-программы. По ролику. Волшебник Молодой Здоровый Супер классный автомеханик Мебельщик Конструктор Сантехник Маляр С наличием КУЧИ свободного времени. И немалой кучки бабок на материалы, оборудование, само авто и инструмент. Кучей проф инструмента и навыков работы с ним. А теперь еще и с крутейшей хатой на колесах) Все профессионально и с ПЕРВОГО РАЗА. Как игроку надо взломать чит коды, чтобы смочь - повторить?)

I stand back in complete admiration at the work you have done to this van, I have seen many van conversions on You Tube but this is by far the best , well done and congratulations on a fantastic job 👍👍👍
Only thing I'd change would be a 4.5 cubic fridge freezer combo, being on the road alot has taught me a freezer is pretty important. But he did a beautiful job, well done
I really like the way he made the bed expandable. That’s a feature that isn’t in any of the van customizations I’ve ever noticed to date on here while I’ve been evaluating these videos. Nice work. A custom van is what I really want to put together, though where I’m located right now, there’s really no accommodation to do such things. I feel like I can’t trust changing vehicle insurance either or putting any finance in the banks at the moment so I’m making do with what I have, and it’s not such a bad deal. There are three others here with similar situations.
This is by far the BEST and MOST WELL THOUGHT OUT van build I've ever seen. I'm OCD as fuckk and this left me plenty satisfied. And I've seen plenty of van builds. This one take the top spot. Not even close!

Really nice camper. Really gives you an appreciation for the amount of work required to build in a small,mobile space. I’m guessing this isn’t his first attempt at doing something like this.
Close - but not quite. Floor should have put specialist sound deadening foam sheets under the insulation to kill road noise while driving, a problem that vans are especially known for, and packed the voids behind the wooden T&G boards with loose fill insulation, that allows wires to be run but increases the insulation value significantly.

I've got probably thousands of clients I've worked for that are so happy with my work, they give me referrals. I have to regularly tell people I'm already too busy. Having a video on SM REALLY ISNT the true test of a persons workmanship. You think the craftsmen and artisans who rebuilt Notre Dame after the fire all have YT channels? If you think the amount of followers and subs a person has on their channel is the true mark of their work, you're a fking idiot.

Almost all vehicles now use high density sound deadening self adhesive material, which also has the added benefit of insulating the interior from the cold metal via conduction. Taking EVERY opportunity to increase R values for insulation for sound and thermal transfer prevention is NEVER a stupid idea and in a small enclosed box that depends on battery power for heating or air con cooling - it's a no brainer. But sure I'm the "armchair warrior" I've FORGOTTEN more about this sort of stuff then almost everyone who isn't a PROFESSIONAL ever knew. It's part of my professional work dumbass, but as I said feel free to point where anything in my statement is incorrect. Your move.
Not much insulation or sound deadening. Looks amazing but can imagine it being cold on a winters night in the uk. I insulated mine really well and it stays nice and warm.

Здравствуйте. И никто не заметил, когда ролик начался всё чинно и мирно, но к концу видео у автора оказалось столько профессионального инструмента стоимостью превышающей в два-три раза автомобиль.
Как быстро и красиво получилось на видео. А на самом деле - адский труд. Может кто-то не знает, а проектирование этой работы занимает больше времени, чем сама работа по изготовлению фургона.

Very talented guy!! a nice build buy a skilled tradesman. one observation: use Butyl tape for sealing roof vents and windows. I used adhesive caulk (liberally) a few times and it failed after a year or so in the weather. Any flexion or differential in materials heating/cooling can cause this separation of caulk at the metal/plastic interface. It was a big surprise when it failed. Butyl tape in my experience is the best way. Bomb proof. I do see lots of youtubers using caulk, so maybe i didn't prep the metal or plastic correctly, or used the wrong caulk? Or maybe they will be chasing small leaks in a year or two? Caulk needs to adhere to metal and plastic, permanently, and after being subject to constant expansion contraction at different rates (metal vs plastic). I doubt it can do that forever? Butyl tape for sure can. I also agree with one commenter, try to build it as light as possible, lower fuel consumption and better handling. Lastly, my eberspacher diesel heater is the single best thing in my build! toasty anytime, sips fuel. Love it. get one.
Great detailed job, but I wonder how much weight did all this material add to the van…because it all can be replaced by recycled treated plastic that’s much lighter, weather proof and fire resistant…aaaaand yes, it’s good for the environment for those who care!🤓
But what about toxic emissions within the van when the plastic gets heated up in the summer? And what about insulation for the winter? I don’t think plastic is a good choice for a living space.
@@or1on89most plastics won't emit any harmful vapours until they are well beyond any temperature this would experience. The treatment in the wood would be more dangerous at lower temperatures - though still above any temperature this would see
For that foil insulates he used, in accordance with their specifications, if you double them up and give gaps in between (housing studs etc). Since he framed after the insulation, he could have applied another layer in front of the framing before applying walls and ceilings to create close to R20.
He also didn't do sound deadening and he put wooden tile flooring that some report to expand and contract causing issues so instead they recommend a one-piece solution. Having said that he is quite the craftsman.

He takes his time with his cuts. Puts tape down. Cleans them with a file. I’m reminding myself to be thorough like this for my projects.

Caulk needs to adhere to metal and plastic, permanently, and after being subject to constant expansion contraction at different rates (metal vs plastic). I doubt it can do that forever? Butyl tape for sure can. I also agree with one commenter, try to build it as light as possible, lower fuel consumption and better handling. Lastly, my eberspacher diesel heater is the single best thing in my build! toasty anytime, sips fuel. Love it. get one.

Great detailed job, but I wonder how much weight did all this material add to the van…because it all can be replaced by recycled treated plastic that’s much lighter, weather proof and fire resistant…aaaaand yes, it’s good for the environment for those who care!🤓
But what about toxic emissions within the van when the plastic gets heated up in the summer? And what about insulation for the winter? I don’t think plastic is a good choice for a living space.
That's a 3.5 tonne van and can carry about 1500 to 2000kg of load. His entire woodwork doesn't seem to make more than a few hundred killos of weight

@@or1on89most plastics won't emit any harmful vapours until they are well beyond any temperature this would experience.
The treatment in the wood would be more dangerous at lower temperatures - though still above any temperature this would see

For that foil insulates he used, in accordance with their specifications, if you double them up and give gaps in between (housing studs etc). Since he framed after the insulation, he could have applied another layer in front of the framing before applying walls and ceilings to create close to R20.

He also didn't do sound deadening and he put wooden tile flooring that some report to expand and contract causing issues so instead they recommend a one-piece solution. Having said that he is quite the craftsman.
