If you enjoy beautiful vocals then GFriend are the group to listen to. Their dancing is recognised as the most synchronised in Kpop as well which is best appreciated in their dance practice videos. They are one of the few groups that can sing live whilst dancing hard and still sound so stable. But if you want to hear a selection of their songs try listening to their Killing Voice as they made their comeback last month after being away for the last 4 years. The harmonies are truly beautiful and you would never know that they had been apart for 4 years. 70,000 people were left ticketless still in the queue to buy tickets for their 3 x 10th anniversary concerts when they sold out in a minute. 4 more concerts have had to be added now in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan to satisfy demand. They belong to a different era which now sounds so nostalgic. They are unique and have a sound like no one else in Kpop. They are not to everyone’s taste though and you either love them or dislike their style of music as it is so different to anything else in Kpop. I love them as you can see and VIVIZ learnt their trade in this group.

They are both excellent, fun to watch and very informative. They are a Subpar Guide to Gfriend and a Guide to Gfriend 2020. Whichever you choose could be a fun reaction to watch and you will enjoy their videos more as well, especially as VIVIZ are one half of the group.
Untie was one of my fav songs/video from 2023! Also, some cool bonus points for having a shiba inu, they're so cute! Maybe ur dogs can make an appearance one day 😉
It is OK to call VIVIZ as it looks and how you assumed it would be said, as that is how their own company BPM expected their name to be pronounced outside Korea. They invented a story that it represents the Vivid DayZ that they will give to fans to try and tie in with that storyline. But actually the name of the group was decided by the 3 girls themselves, using the ends of their names to create it as BiBiJi. The company went along with it but tried to turn it into something that made sense in both Korea and the English speaking world as well, by choosing VIVIZ which can be pronounced Vee Vee Zee, sounding very like the Korean name Bee Bee Jee that the members always call themselves. Very confusing but it means all three different pronunciations have validity so take your pick.
Great vocals from all 3 ladies, but I have to admit that I agree with Mrs Coach. I found the videos very distracting from the songs, I think it was the constant changes in focus from close to distance and back again. It really made my eyes go wonky. In the second, I ended up closing my eyes and just listening...
For some humor try John Pinette (sadly died too soon) and for music you could try the acapella group "Home Free" .... kindest regards from The Netherlands 😊
Three very different songs so far from this group, but I liked all of them. I think doing a group with just 3 members is both difficult and full of advantages at the same time. The plus side would be that it's easier to be seen and noticed because you aren't fighting for space as much as in a large group. The difficult part is ofc that you will get noticed more so you have to make sure to really bring your A-game everytime. I really haven't followed this group (or GFriend) so I can't really recommend anything, but from what I've seen so far there is some serious skill with these three ladies at least. Hopefully you get some good recommendations so we can check out more, because this was a lot of fun!
Both songs are great, but I prefer Untied. Untied is an unusual song by them. Most of their songs are similar to Maniac. Ballad like, but more paced than most ballads. I use Qobuz for streaming. The albums for Viviz have been removed. I wonder if it has something to do with the Gfriend Comeback. Ive just dropped a new song called Attitude, and it's great. It's about hate and positively and how they deal with it. I'm always happy. If people don't like me, its their problem, not mine.
