I have the i7 with iris xe version. Its a decent and very traditional laptop to me. Its sturdy and the material seems and feel better in hand than in the picture. I would say people should be satisfied if they use this kind of material for a lower end i3 or even celeron version.

Yes fans can become loud sometimes, not much heat on upper body, lower body definitely is hotter.

I picked one of these up at best buy a year and a half ago for less than 300 bucks, except it has an i5. It was SUPER easy to upgrade the storage and memory (128 and 8 GB respectively wasn’t enough). It’s been a great machine especially for what I paid.

All these laptop companies, except for Apple because Apple is just on another level, the way they package there technology to sell it so wonderful because Some of these unboxing videos of a laptop brands that I’m seeing the boxes are a mess and laptop screens inside. Some of them have too much of a chin, which is not very ecstatically pleasing to see.
So all these companies need to work on the design language because in 2023, we shouldn’t still be having massive bezels or chins on laptops at least make them smaller so that everybody that needs one wants one can have a whole screen to work with.

Sir, my unit heats up near the center very much during update, yesterday the right lower plastic frame of the lcd lid cracked open as i was ready to open it up... Returned it to dell shop for repair..unit is 2 months old

I will suggest everybody not to buy Dell products, I am from Kashmir India I purchased Dell core i3 on 1st of October this year since then I faced problems in shutting down and while turning it on... I contacted Dell finally problem was located in hard drive now I have to replace it's hard drive I have not even fone a single work on my newly purchased Dell laptop despite it is new and only 25 days has gone since I buyed it.
i also purchased dell laptop 15 3511 heating issue or on off issue i returned this laptop for ist week but shopkeeper cant replace it i also frustate i can go 3 times to returned this laptop but shopkeeper cant replace 3rd time suugest you can go service centre i find issue its motherboard replace

Friends, Never ever buy any Dell Laptops as their warranty is just a fake. I bought this model in USA and then within 3 months of use, it's lid hinge got stuck and screen was about to rip apart. I complained it to Dell USA and they advised to transfer the ownership to India. I did so. Dell India said you have to buy new warranty as it's not transferable. When contacted US customer care they said it's transferable and they did it for me. Once I got my warranty card for India then Dell India technician came up with new shitty idea that first hardware service is to be paid for.
This model has serious design and manufacturing issue with hinge and instead of recalling back this model, they are buying time so that 1 year of warranty is expired.
I will advice to go for ASUS or any other make. ASUS people exchanged my last PC under warranty within 3 days of complaint.
