So, my nine-year-old daughter watches your videos. You’re one of only a handful of animation influencers I’m comfortable letting her watch, even though some of your stuff is a bit sexy, which is just fine, better kind and sexy than a violent vixen. It means a lot to me that you and a few others seem to understand the responsibility that comes with your power as an influencer here. My girl adores you. She draws all the time, and says she wants to be an animation RUclipsr, which honestly terrifies me for some of the reasons you’ve mentioned.
I’m really glad you did this one, and it has nothing to do with us wanting or expecting to see your face, and everything to do with you having the opportunity to tell your story… How uncomfortable you were with exposing a part of yourself which others were practically demanding to see, and how you didn’t do it out of the expectations of others, or because you let their comments get to you, but because it felt important to do it to for your own growth in confidence.
I feel like you’re a great influence on my daughter for this reason among others, so thank you! Also, you are gorgeous, inspiring, and an absolutely incredible artist. :-) Keep doing what’s good for you while you’re trying to share your gift with so many others.
