I'm glad noticing Finn's number of subscribers increasing. I've been a subs way back when he had 100+ subscribers. That's why,I called him my anak because I cried when he cried remembering his mom's illness and death. The school for the girl's shelter in the mountain of Cebu is for his mom's remembrance. I miss those times when he used to wear the magic "yellow short pants"....heheh. That shorts was his golden treasure as his journey in our country begins. You've gone quiet far in life, nak and there's more to go. Opportunities are endless, always call upon the LORD by giving HIM thanks.Cöngrats! The LORD is with you and Sherlyn.🙏

Some houses have built a separate type of water tower to catch rainwater. Don’t know how tall the water tower should be or how far away it should be built from the house. Of course there is a cover so mosquitoes or other bugs won’t breed. Purpose? People use to shower in or water plants/trees when their city water stops working temporarily or short drought.

You mentioned using sliding windows on your new home. Please note that unless there are proper seals on the sliding windows you will have two sets of problems - one is that when using AirCon the cold air will leak out doubling your AirCon bill and two, when rain storms hit the water will find its way through the gaps into the house.

Its a fantastic idea that these people shares their opinion how things should be done around your house. Their experienced will save you headaches in the years to come - take note of their recommendation. Having a house is not an easy task. Keeping an eye on so many things around your house becomes nuisance later on, an example of that is the gutter. It should be cleaned yearly to remove leaves stuck on the pan gutters so rainwater drains easily. Windows should be sealed well so mold will not be developed especially when it rains a lot. Water supply needs filter to remove unwanted pathogens - at least. Spray some kind of a solution around the property to deter bugs and other things. As for the water piping, use copper pipe so they won't get rusty. If you get the ordinary pipe, they rust quickly because of the salt carried by the wind from the ocean. Take note of your subscribers' advise - you will thank them later.

Will you have shutters on all your windows to protect your large windows from being blown in by the high winds in a typhoon. At 240 Km/h the dynamic wind pressure load will be 277.49 Kg/m or 277.49 kg per square metre of window area. Window shutters help protect the window from being broken by flying debris and from the wind blowing the window in. So your windows need very strong fixings as do your window shutters. The position you are in is very exposed on top of that hill. So everything has to be designed to withstand the force of the strongest typhoons. The roof also must be very firmly fixed to the walls.
At wind speeds of 160Km/h (100mph) the force on a window per square metre will be 123.33 kg for the wind direction being perpendicular to the window.
At wind speeds of 240Km/h (150mph) the force on a window per square metre will be 277.49 kg for the wind direction being perpendicular to the window.
And finally at 315km/h (196 mph) (the wind speed in that terrible typhoon that hit Leyte a few years ago) the force on a window per square metre will be 478.027 kg for the wind direction being perpendicular to the window. Note that the force is the dynamic wind pressure.
I also notice that the hollow blocks you are using are very thin compared to what I have seen in many other building sites in the Philippines. You do have a very nice location with the views at the top of the hill but the down side is strong typhoons.
