Hey great video! I'm gonna apply here! Is it easy to change ur major at u of m? Also, can you get involved with clubs or activities even if they're not ur major? (Like could u get involved with theater even if you're a bio major?)

Hey I got accepted there and I'm trying to choose a dorm. Which one is this and what do you think is best? I'm going to Carlson so I was thinking Middlebrook but it seems isolated from the East bank.

So I REALLY want to go to UofM and was wondering about biking and the availability of it. So could you ride the bikes in the underground tunnels when it's really cold or when it's fall and spring when it's best for biking

    • @colt-one
      @colt-one 6 лет назад

Never seen anyone try to ride a bike in the tunnels.

    • @brenna5316

No bikes are allowed inside period. Plus you’d be dumb to ride. Icy and you’d be a risk to pedestrians walking outside. It’s not always plowed on bridge or salted.

Yeah, I think that was a misunderstanding of what the tunnels are. They are not accessible from outside where you'd be riding a bike. They're just a continuation of hallways inside buildings. Love the tunnels though. I can't believe more people don't use them to avoid the weather.

I'm considering going to the U of M but I am so scared that I won't get in. I'm an AP/Honors student with a 4.0 gpa, I love the school so much and when I went on the campus visit I fell in love even more

Isaac Hennemann since I will be an out of state student would there be more competition to get in?

that's my issue! I want to go to BU, and we're practically the same academic wise, but I live in Florida, so...I see that to be a big issue lol

Academics wise you should get in. But did you do any extracurricular activities like sports or clubs. If you did 2 or 3 you should be fine

Cool! I just got my acceptance letter today, still deciding! What's the best/worst about U of M?

      Congrats!
      Best things:
      Location- Twin Cities, Parks,Resturants,Shopping,
      Easy Public Transportation
      Huge variety of Classes
Lots of organizations and student groups
Academic and mental health support is outstanding
      Campus is amazingly beautiful
      Big 10 sports team
Worst: Sometimes classes are big or the teachers talk through the whole class... which means you don't really get to know people
If you are from a warm state, it gets really cold during the winter
Academics can be pretty intense depending on the class
Hard to get to know people sometimes
      Hope that helps!
