- Sphere is working on a show that will "blow your socks off," but officials say an announcement won't come until sometime this summer. Jim Dolan, Sphere's CEO and executive chairman, admits that's a tease.
Why haven't they collaborated with the top EDM DJs that headline at EDC? I could totally Kaskade, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, & Armin Van Buuren spinning there, which would be EPIC.

Am I supposed to get excited because they say "show will have AI"? What does that even mean? Why would AI make a show better?
I find it hilarious to hear the reporter talking figures and everytime she says "million" she's acting like they're making big bucks.. and while a few hundred mill isn't chump change, when you factor the billions the sphere cost (with a B), they're still trying to pay back their loans and get on their feet and will be doing so well into the 2030's when people are over the sphere already or the maintenance and up-keep of the LEDs is going to be more costly than their revenue..
Who can even afford it aside from the rich.
They are going to lose so much money this year on it with no big acts scheduled this year. They need someone like Coldplay who could do a big production and pull people in and willing to do a residency.
This is how it starts.
The spheres makes everything on the strip electronic & digital, or any light show look like garbage compared to the technologist at the spheres
