I am SO proud of all these women for confronting their abuser and putting him in his place. That must've not been easy at all to relive everything they went through, but I hope it gave them the closure they deserve. And told him "larry , we will let you step down , on your own" . We,ll set you up w/ a place that can help you w/ your problem . His friends let him down , they let these girls down , however if they did the responcable thing ...as ive said . He wouldnt be doing life without parole . And the girls wouldnt be suffering . From the point of view of his having an addiction, perhaps, though given the extent of his behaviour, there must be a point in which you go beyond redemption, beyond help. Surely only a psychopath could have did what he did, consistently, year upon year, in plain sight. It was brazen to the point of arrogant, imperious. I think he convinced himself that his artificial identity of 'nice guy' was enough of a sop for his vile actions. You hear about him asking these girls as he was penetrating them with his fingers: "Does it hurt when I do that?" A very twisted personality, manipulative. Even in his speech to the court, his manner suggested a faux concern, a cover for his obsessive fixation and bottomless appetite. For an addict like Nassar, I'm sure it was all worth it. I don't think he even recognises the trail of devastation he has left in his wake, nor felt a shred of empathy with any of these brave impact statements - any pity he does feel, he reserves for himself. Sad.

I think it would be difficult for them to coordinate their accusations considering how their impact statements all appear to be in their own words. If you take a look at Larry's PowerPoint deck about that notorious ligament he was helping to ease, even the pictures look very close to inappropriate touching. The child porn was kind of the final nail in the coffin.
yeah he got help alright, stabbed a few weeks ago in prison. Best kind of help he deserved. Best part he lived so he'll be crippled and have even more mental trauma, he'll get to experience just an ounce what those women went through all those years. Vengeance is sweet and we all celebrate it.
