That went from "this game is sooo relaxed" to "WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME" really quickly🤣 well to be fair, you can go for hours and hours of fishing without catching a single fish. So looks like a pretty accurate sim🤣 thanks for the laughs✌🏾🦖

@@chenson9587 Wrong place and/or wrong tackle. If I don’t catch a fish in 5 casts, I change something. Change up my lure, or move to a different spot. Creek fishing trout with 6’ poles and rooster tails is usually pretty exciting, and you don’t need a boat or anything special. Just walk the creek and fish all the good looking holes as you make your way upstream. Lots of action. 👍

@@jdisdetermined like i said. The fish just dont bite some times and every REAL fisher knows that. Your response was to tell him what that they were at the wrong place or wrong tackle. For some absurd reason, you felt like him and his dad were doing something wrong.
Trevor, your friend Ray just has the feel down. It's an art form. My grandfather and uncle could run circles around me fishing but that didn't matter to me as long as I was having fun.

Im excited for this game. Im recovering from a stroke so have to change my gaming experiences. This will be ideal for my rehabilitation as its not too fast gameplay. Currently playing COTW so this will be an excellent extra for me.

Fishing Planet seems to have much better fishing mechanics, but I haven't touched that game for quite awhile after they went overboard with the microtransactions. Be cool if the CotW folks would keep developing fishing and maybe combine fishing and hunting into the same sandbox some day.

I bought a fishing simulator on a Steam sale a few weeks ago. It wasn't this one though. Haven't played it yet. It'll be interesting to see how it compares.

Long time ago I suggested quads and fishing on their website . They listened. 😊
I have fished a few times. The most I got in one sitting was 3 fish a few times. One time was 3 catfish and another time was 2 sun perch and a bass. Of course since the fish was from my Papa’s pond what’re we caught was dinner that night.

It's mostly a game of patience. I couldn't tell really if Trev was casting and reeling or casting and waiting a bit. It still looked awesome, great visuals (although the fisherman did look a bit weird, he should have smiled). Gosh, I miss fishing.🐟
