I suffer from PTSD and am very picky on what ASMR I use to get my brain to turn off for night. Scalp massage/scratching is my ultimate trigger. Pretty sure I've watched almost all of them out there and this is by far one of the best. A lot of ASMRtists cant get a realistic scalp with hair scratching sound but this video nailed it. Great sounds, great lighting and lots of ear to ear. Fantastic job Magic. Thank you for giving me a new nighttime video. Keep up the great work!
So for some reason, whenever I get stressed my head starts to itch really badly. The doctors claim it's psycho-somatic and they don't think there's a real problem, but itching it only makes it worse. I've found that ASMR head scratching videos, however, work wonders. They help me resist the urge to scratch, and relax me so that the itching goes away. Thank you so much for this video. This one has helped me a lot
Scalp pain can actually be a symptom of certain types of migraines. Since these feelings coincide with high stress and subside once you are calmer, it could be related to that. At least its something to look into
Try seeing a psychologist yet if you haven't already.... they may be able to help you get to the bottom of it. Maybe not, but hey, it's worth a shot if you would like to try it!
Alana Lackner big brain idea: envision yourself or someone else scratching your head - how it feels, the tingly feeling, etc... It might work, it might not. Doing stuff in a mental image of sorts is able to trigger the related reactions from your body. If someone headpats me in a really deep daydream I'm having, I physically get tingles from it. Phantom touch is wack and I love it. I also have it in non VR, so that's neat.
All of my friends think this is scary and weird but I think it's relaxing, I think about all my worries and problems when I'm trying to sleep but this keeps my mind clear and relaxes me so much and makes me really comfortable, thank you so much for helping me!!

This just popped into my head. It’s not a request it’s a suggestion. Give bob a scalp massage. I know he doesn’t have hair, but if you dragged ur nails along his scalp it would make a fantastic noise. The one with the glitter and stuff the noise at the start with ur nails gliding along his head was a very peaceful and pleasant noise. And I think he deserves a nice scalp massage. Maybe a hot towel scalp wash, and other things to pamper him and make him feel more included in the nice things.
I've seen so many asmrtists do 'scalp massages' with their nails on a bald plastic head ... I don't know what you've done with your mics, but *finally*, someone who knows what having hair sounds like! xD

For some reason, this particular video soothed me in ways I don't remember being this calm. Calm enough to sleep without batting an eyelash. when I stay over my boyfriends house, I always ask if he could play with my hair/give me a scalp massage, and he always says yes.... except he only does it for a few minutes and then stops. If my boyfriend gave me a 43 minute scalp massage, I'd probably overdose on tingles.

You have no idea how many times I've relied on this video to help me sleep recently...I have insomnia and 90% of ASMR videos don't work for me, either because they're too general, audio-wise (think white noise or background noise) and my thoughts end up distracting me, or because the ASMRtist feels the need to speak the whole time. Scalp massage videos like this one are the only thing that actually makes me experience ASMR, and even then it's rare. I just watch for the relaxation factor, and a lengthy video without any talking is freaking perfect for me. THANK YOU for this, and I hope you find much more success in your work. :)

Basic time stamps;
00:01 - 01:40 Warming up oil in her hands (skin massaging sounds) and then applying it to your scalp
01:41- 30:09 Main varied head massage, with scalp scratching and a tiny bit of temple and neck scratching/stroking.
She applies more oil to your scalp at 30:10 and again at 35:23, and the massage becomes more gentle after that point:)

when I stay over my boyfriends house, I always ask if he could play with my hair/give me a scalp massage, and he always says yes.... except he only does it for a few minutes and then stops. If my boyfriend gave me a 43 minute scalp massage, I'd probably overdose on tingles.

I also like the talking ones because they are very soothing and comforting but when I'm in a state of deep relaxation and there's a break between talking and sounds I get startled by even the slightest whisper lol. thank u for always turning out such great content!

So lately I've been checking out ASMR because the sounds I used to listen to, like rain and white noise, don't really help me sleep anymore. Honestly the other channels made me feel uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep from them. However, something about your videos makes me sleepy every Time. Not only that, but I genuinely feel comfortable and stress free from them, even with all the crap I have to deal with lately. You have no idea how many times I've relied on this video to help me sleep recently...I have insomnia and 90% of ASMR videos don't work for me, either because they're too general, audio-wise (think white noise or background noise) and my thoughts end up distracting me, or because the ASMRtist feels the need to speak the whole time.
Scalp massage videos like this one are the only thing that actually makes me experience ASMR, and even then it's rare. I just watch for the relaxation factor, and a lengthy video without any talking is freaking perfect for me. THANK YOU for this, and I hope you find much more success in your work. :)

The scalp massage is my favorite kind of ASMR, the sound helps me relax so much, but I wanted to say how much I love the lava lamps!!!
