These bunkais are very good and realistics, I think this is the way to learn the real meaning of Katas and learning karate is learning how to use the strategies that katas represents. Videos from the channel practicalbunkai are also very good!

Great video! The production is of high quality. The interpretations are excellent and inspirational. Occasionally maybe very liberal, e.g. turning shoto uke into elbow techniques enpi. Definitely thinking outside the box

Sou novo no canal, mas pude perceber que se trata de uma aplicação do Kata de forma diferenciada, mas voltada para a defesa pessoal, e não é seguida a aplicação convencional que estamos acostumados a ver nas competições. Nos resta saber se há realmente uma funcionalidade dessas técnicas no combate real.

Je suis nouveau sur la chaîne, mais j'ai pu voir qu'il s'agit d'une application du Kata d'une manière différente, mais axée sur l'autodéfense, et l'application conventionnelle que l'on a l'habitude de voir en compétition n'est pas suivie. Reste à savoir si ces techniques ont réellement une fonctionnalité en combat réel.
Ces Bunkai se decroche un peu trop du kata a mon gout cela dit bonne trouvailles merci beaucoup

That is the way Karate should be taught at the dojo with real opponents and partner work. But unfortunately everything is about perfection by striking air and simulation in my school.
Find a good dojo buddy and meet with him once a week or so in the park to practice practical application.

I do not understand, why is he ending in an "X" block at 9:00 after the take down?
After the neck crank his hands end up crossed and he's accentuating that to link it to the kata.
We do a low x block with fists then a high x block with open hands and a flourish. The flourish doesn't fit a neck crank but it fits a wrist manipulation. Good luck getting it in real time when you're sweaty etc.
Edit.. I hope that was worth waiting seven years.....
