So hyped for road to ripped 24. This is my first time watching them in real time, I can’t wait. You’ve been my go-to for motivation the last few months - down 40 lbs since January. I’ll be following along the next 16 weeks to keep on improving. Let’s go bro!
1st time keeping up with road to ripped!! I watched sporadically last year but i’m keeping up this year!! it’s awesome to see a fellow floridian shop at publix, let’s get it!!
It Will Be My First Time Watching Your Ripped Series So I Can’t Wait For This Series! Joey Loving That You’re Keeping It Real On Your Videos! Joey And Perry Have A Wonderful Weekend!! ✨✨💪💪✨✨
By far my favorite you tube channel for fitness! You always keep it real and legit. I'm looking forward to another Road to Ripped and for what its worth, you definitely inspire me and make it easier, interesting and entertaining while keeping my head in the game!
Aww yeah. The best series is back! Not a bad physique to start out with, man! TBH. It’s a solid start, and I bet other days you’ll have higher strength. That extra weight will help. 💪🏻 Today was also my Day 1. Gonna maintain for a week or two to see what my true maintenance is then do a lean bulk. Running a x4 day upper/lower split myself.
What's up Joey! I've been following this series for a while now and I think you're doing a great job. You have been super consistent ever since I first subscribed 2 years ago, and your content is always on point and well edited. I think many people forget that you are not a full-time RUclipsr, but that you are actually working a higher up position at your family's construction company (and planning on taking over soon if I am not mistaken?), which makes your channel along with all its content even more impressive. Sometimes I wonder how you even have time to balance the two! I love your transparency and I understand you might not be 100% satisfied with the way you look right now, which means that you have set high standards for yourself and the ideal physique that you want to have - which is good! But the truth of the matter is that even at your 'worst', you still look better than 90% of the population...don't forget that. I can really relate to ending up binge-eating or gaining most of the weight back quite fast after a cut, and I feel you are the same. It's as if I'm on a leash during the entire cut, and once you are done nothing is off limits 🤣 Your channel is well known for its focus on low-calorie & high-protein recipes, which I believe is really helpful for a lot of people. Especially for those who might be obese and have a hard time navigating what is calorically dense or not. On the other side, I think it's important to not only focus on the calories and macros, but also the micronutrients! I started my cut about a month ago and this time I decided to opt for nutrients instead of just everything being low calorie and guess what? I barely have any cravings anymore (which was always my problem). And I am still eating the same amount as I have done on previous cuts (approx. 2-2,3k kcals/day). Once you eat mostly whole foods (real food) and cut out most of the processed stuff, I believe your body gets all the nutrients that it needs and it will be more satisfied. I know you eat very healthy in general and that you don't cheap out on the budget to your diet - I've seen your shopping carts after a grocery haul 😆but if you feel that you are still struggling with cravings, maybe try cutting out most of the processed stuff and focus on mostly organic foods and animal proteins see if it makes any difference. If you feel you are doing just fine right now, then keep it up! Hope to run into you someday! Much love from Sweden 👊
Yessss wow a lot to take in with this comment but yes gonna touch on my work stuff soon because it’s changing quite a bit recently! But yeah I think as I get older I will start to pay more attention micronutrients as well! The main goal for me right now is calories and simple recipes because of my tight schedule👌
I've been eating the buffalo chicken dip since when you first shared the receipe (maybe a few years ago?) and I LOVE IT! It's a staple in my household. The macros and taste are on point! When I have a few extra cals to spare, I eat it on a small serving of steak fries. YUM!
Great video, Joey. Thank you so much for sharing Road to Rip 2024 with us!!!! Love the fact that you're doing this while still eating, what would be considered normal everyday food, and not living on a completely restricted diet. Best of luck in this journey. I'm definitely going to enjoy the journey as you share it.Thanks for what you do!!!!!!
LFG! I'm so pumped for the series this year. This has become one of my favorite series on youtube. I'm joining you this year my guy! Thanks for bringing us along yet again. Good Luck
Let’s go, I’m in Australia and I was eating a kilo of chocolate while watching this because it’s Easter today. Gonna have to jump on the journey with you 🔥🔥🔥 keen to track along, i really enjoyed last years 💪💪
Ive been here for the last two. So this is r2r #3 for me. Been on way too long of a cut personally(with quite a few ups and downs iibh), i mean im still losing but i got a vacation coming in about 3 weeks and then gonna take about a month to 6 weeks off, hopefully i dont put back on too much weight. I have the same problem as you whwre if im not cutting i let my eating get a bit out of control 😅. Anyway good luck, i think youll get to 200 by the end no problem 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Love Baja Blast!! My local super market has rotisserie chicken for the same super low price As someone who cooks for myself I love simple meals I have been eating chili 5-6 days a week since November And the ready pasta mixed in is great
Good afternoon Joey ill be following you on my own jorney and what a great video. May I ask will you be including meals etc that have oatmeal in them ? eg will you be eating simply oatmeal ? in Australia we call it "rolled oats". Just wondering as I a going with the family on a food haul however we live in China and the closest thing to costco we have is something called "Sams club" cant wait to follow you on the road to ripped !!
Joey should definitely try the Macro Factor App by Jeff Nippard and his team. Takes all the guess work out and the adjustment it makes on your weigh-ins is solid! Used it to drop 50lbs in a year cut (not a sponsor for them lol). Diet coach+food logger, can't go wrong heh.
just fyi there are somethings that aren't scannable and I still have to manually put the stuff in. but been using this hack for a long time thanks to you.
Rotisserie chicken has been my staple. I can get about 450g of breasts and 400g of dark meat. Without any of the skin. But you definitely should separate the white and dark meat as they have different macros.
Curious if you deal with yo yo dieting and how you manage that. I find that if I don’t eat at a deficit for a mere 1.5-2 weeks I’m back to square one, even if I was in a deficit for the prior 4+ weeks and don’t binge eat during that 1.5-2 week stretch
Getting shredded eating pancakes, pretzels, pasta, bananas and chocolate? Nonsense... if you want to oxidize fat tissues you just need to do fasting and eat once a day only meat 65% fat 35% protein. And walk. Easy. Stop counting nonsense calories...
@@DanielFernandez-h3lhe loses body for in the end it don’t matter what you do if your in a caloric deficit your gonna lose fat and make sure your hitting protein.
@@rylinjohns1370 I lose fat with a 6,000 calories per day intake, does it means that eating 6,000 calories per day make you lose fat? No. It just means that calories has nothing to be with the body metabolism. Instead of counting calories he would just put less amount of food in his mouth and he will have the same effect. But anyway starving yourself is not the way to oxidize fat, your body will reduce the metabolism and you will end gaining that fat again but with a broken metabolism and reduced hormones. Stick to animal fat and protein to be lean and fit forever. Easy.

Yessss so not worth it to pay for premium!!
Home gym goals for real. Nice setup
Appreciate ya!!! Still working on some things but coming along nicely for sureee👌
Love Baja Blast!! My local super market has rotisserie chicken for the same super low price As someone who cooks for myself I love simple meals I have been eating chili 5-6 days a week since November And the ready pasta mixed in is great

Road to ripped couldn’t have come at a better time
Factsssss gonna be a good one👌
What kind of power rack is that? Looks awesome!!
Ritfit m1! Just posted a detailed review👌
❤ breakfast dessert!! Have you tried spinning your favorite overnight oats recipe into a ninja creami?
Noooo I haven’t but that’s not a bad idea though👀
I always love your intro ☺️

Yesss I’ve actually tried it before briefly but it was a couple years ago! I may switch in the future
Home gym coming together. Do you think you could do the R2R using only your home gym
Yeah that’s the plan!! Just need some dumbbells next!
just fyi there are somethings that aren't scannable and I still have to manually put the stuff in. but been using this hack for a long time thanks to you.
Yessss the hack needs to get out to more people so they don’t have to spend money on premium!!
Love the vid!!
Appreciate ya love the support🙌
16:35, Time for the CREAMi 😂
It’s coming back promise!!
@@JoeySuggs ❤️

Great one 👍💪👏
Appreciate ya🙌🙌
I’ve made anabolic chicken bakes at home from some recipes I saw on Instagram. Totally bet they taste better than Costco’s. 😅
Yeah guarantee they did!!
Would you increase cardio before dropping calories? Or both should drop together?
Just depends we’ll cover it in an upcoming vid👌
Bro I'm always getting shredded everyday all the time
Amen brother
"I never weigh my meat raw" would have SUCH a different meaning in non-fitness vlogs :D
😂😂 typically like to weigh my meat first thing in morning so it’s fresh!!
I just changed my location to Canada but it still will not let me scan the barcode on myfitnesspal. Any Advice?
Maybe try England?? Or restart the app
Slandering the chicken bake? Might have to unsubscribe 😬
Chilllllllll!! Gotta admit it is just a big hot pocket though!
Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out! Don’t skip leg day

Wheres the ninja creami!😁
Coming back in ep. 2!!

Chicken bakes are definitely over hyped. I'd rather have a hot pocket
They’re literally XL hot pockets

@@JoeySuggsthat being said I definitely plan to try the beef and salsa recipe!

Week 1 no pump and no good lighting. Thats it. Sorry Joey your trickery is 😂😂😂
Nahhhh there’s definitely some work that needs to be done here!!
