    I didn’t realize PSS main lesson books were so different from ACD’s!!

      Yes! And I used not think about it too much until we started using them (both) and I started realizing we favored one over the other. However it’s very personal and I know from talking with a Waldorf teacher that her 5th and 6th grade student do not prefer the larger format and blank pages I favor. And it makes sense because there is a lot more writing as the children get older.

    Do you think the nutrition book would be appropriate for a Jewish family?

      My understanding is that there is a lot of food wisdom within Judaism and eating kosher. For instance, when you keep kosher you don’t eat dairy with meat. It turns out that when you combine those foods, your body isn’t able to absorb certain nutrients from the meat, like iron, as effectively as when eaten separately because of the casein and calcium in milk. There are certainly other food wisdoms that are not mainstream that may differ from other religions. For instance, many religions having a fasting tradition but each is unique and while fasting for spiritual purposes isn’t for nutritional gains, undoubtedly some may arise.
