One of my favorite places!!! And right down the road from me. I've walked it extensively and explored the old world everything! Kudos to you for pronouncing it like a local 🥳
Born and raised in Mobile and still live here and yes Mobile was the capital of Louisiana that's where the confusion comes from the birthplace of Mardi gras was Mobile Louisiana
Did you just quote Super Troopers when you said, "Call Guinness" 😅 ? I lived in Virginia for a while . I've visited Georgia and Alabama . The feel/vibe there has a wicked different feel from my northeast . Hiking on state parks and going to the "Historic Districts" , seeing the spanish moss hanging from massive trees (off the beaten paths) , overgrown and abandoned railways , it's all so surreal man . Great symbology as usual ; )
@Restitutor_Orbis_214 Whoa ! I haven't watched that in many, many moons 😆 I can't keep up with all of your quote drops . You're the first person to shake the rust off of my movie knowledge in a while bud :P
Two years ago my family went down to Gulf Shores, AL. I had just become aware of star forts a few months prior to our vacation so imagine my surprise when I found out Fort Morgan was down the road…JACKPOT! It was a great experience. Going into the museum at the fort and reading their history narrative is a hoot. It was supposedly built by slaves…those super crafty, bricklaying genius slaves of the early 1800’s…of course!
my favorite story of fort gaines was that after all this effort was put into building and defending the position the us gov completely abandoned the site for years. it was fully open to the people living on the island. there’s pictures there of kids playing and families just allowed to roam free and play in this military fort. very strange stuff happened in these areas
Damn the Torpedos!! I got the chance to visit Fort Gaines 3 yrs ago. I do love the south and the beach rt next to the fort was a bonus on Dauphin Island. I can't wait to return as I have roots there now and my fiance lives in Mobile. TY for the great deep dive.
33:31 Alright, Allright Alrighty. Mathew McConaughey. 😂 Visited Ft.Morgan and took a picture next to a giant anchor.. never put it together. Awesome job. Again, im mind blown. 🌬️🌀💙
It's a awesome place to visit. I lived in Daphne for awhile before moving up to Pell City. Me and my parents would visit almost every year but mostly for Mardi Gras. Hope you can make it to LA, LA. See what I did there. Lower Alabama....I'll stop. 😁
A lot of people don’t really pay attention to Alabama. They honestly have more people buried there in the cemetery than they do living. This is where all my family is from, and after doing sensitive genealogy, I’ve come to the realization that Shermans march through Alabama was just way to destroy evidence. It is kind of convenient that there’s 20 years of no census. So were the people displaced from the war? Was it because courthouse burned down conveniently? Or were they trying to hide the whereabouts of people from 1870 to 1890.
This whole region appears even more interesting than most people know. They just found dozens of unmarked graves in Miraflores Park here in Pensacola recently and are going to continue the effort to look for more. I believe the darkest secrets of America's past lie mostly in the Deep South, the West & the Mississippi River region.
Notice the old courthouse had griffins on the four corners.. The starforts cannon mounts all look retrofitted..I find it difficult to swallow that those ships didn't get absolutely hammered to bits tween the two forts..the fact that there's scant physical records/documentation makes the whole situation seem dodgey as..Nice work Cob!
I live in 205. In Birmingham, there’s a lot of sus buildings. Downtown 5 points south has a ball statue reading a satanic book to other creatures. The whole state has a weird vibe.
I've always wondered what that fountain was about myself. Oddly enough, I met Charles Barkley at 5 Points many years ago. He was drunk, as was I. However, you're correct. We're a pretty peculiar state concerning it's vibe.
People were going insane over that shit, the city claims it was pan but I do think it's probably something way more insane. Even tho it's a new statue, not tartarian, a dude i knew who used to be an electrician said he went into the wrong closet at Alabama power and saw ritualistic robes and goat masks, if that's true the statue is probably 100% a nod to the freemasons who still run the narrative and the city. I've always said I loved bham because everything is so old, but it recently starting dawning on me it's probably way older than anyone knows, like one of the venues me and me boys play at is an abandoned firehouse from the "1800s" everything is ancient
I just moved back to Florida after living in Bham for 8 years. That city has a horrible vibe - almost feels like a ghost town even though people are around. It feels like no one takes ownership or cares what happens there. There is no pride in the area, very little vision or plans for improvements even from the citizens. Everyone seems so sad and demoralized like they can barely function. I am so glad to be back home.
@@Sara-hy1ru Really? I have been there on business and some areas are no go zones, but certain areas up in the hills are beautiful. Didn't really pick up this vibe you are talking about but I was not there long.

Mardi Gras is supposed to be on the last day of winter as the first day of a new Summer was on March 1st in the Old times. That's why we have SEPTember, month #9 instead of # SEVen, October #10 instead of #8, etc.
Nice one LA...I couldn't help but LOL when you said "founded in 1702" all i could think was yeah they "found it" ;) at 7:30 there are houses like this in my little town and only within the past decade did they return to painting them with all the different pallets to show off their beauty. It's interesting to me that these courthouses and "learning institutions" all sport either four or six columns...four columns naturally create the look of three arches, which usually denote a site of ritual sacrifice...six columns represents man (as in Genesis man was created on day six). The courthouses makes sense in that anyone having to go there is literally a sacrifice to the "System" and the educational buildings intimate man's desire for wisdom and knowledge so as to become 'gods'. That structure at 15:18 is positively abominable!! How much uglier could they make it???? Good gawd. 17:20-18:57 the basilica (named after the serpentine/dragon like basilisk) is strikingly beautiful and for me, sad at the same time. From research I have been doing, most if not all of the great cathedrals we see throughout the realm have the common characteristic of having been erected on previous pagan worship sites- aka child sacrifice/blood sacrifice locations throughout history. At 18:11 the "all seeing eye" symbolism in those "diamonds" on the columns and the magnificent pipe organ at 18:57 are further dots to connect to the purpose of these buildings. I'm still working on my theory but my guess is that these are all homages to the Lord and Ruler of this World, Lucifer. Satanic but disguised at houses of worship for the ignorant and sleepwalking sheep. Anytime there is artistry either in the windows or sculpted with the 'halos' depicted above the heads of the beings most people think 'halo' but in actuality those are sunbeams or sun blazes in honor of the sun god light bringer worshipped by pagans from time immemorial. And angels, true biblical angels, do not have wings. only the highest ranked have wings-either 6 or 4- and they are not in human form. Thanks for the great video.
Mardi Gras orig in Mobile Alabama? In Canada it’s like the Calgary Stampede starting in another province. Amazing. Edit: post fire landscape similar to HI? Maybe just me.
Just as you spoke of Mardi Gras I was thinking that Alabama resembled New Orleans. Also I find the Historical Narrative quite comical ! Thanks for the info & laughs 😃 ❤
Mobile Bay was a large naval conflict as depicted by sketches, drawings and paintings. Oddly enough there are no photos of this important battle, in keeping with the fact that the entire civil war has no photographic record of any actual battles. Photography was already around for decades so the absence of any battle photos is frankly inexplicable. Interesting video as usual on this channel. Thank you.
Dunno how i missed this one, Mobile all my life. I was the guy who mentioned the strange statuary that was on top of the old court house. Blown off by a storm ofcourse. Early 2000s was working at st Louis and Royal Street couple of blocks away from the van Antwerp building. Anyway digging in a parking lot beside the commerce building and dug up dozens of what looked like their house whisky possibly. All said van Antwerp, the very best i believe. Never knew what to make of it. Odd to say the least

Lots left tho with mobile as I'm sure your well aware. I can't wait for ANYTHING else , which I know is coming, on Alabama. Anything I could do to help , was able to do, I would . As a life long ww2 researcher and fan of that insane conflict. I cannot wait to see what you share with us! 😎 None of ww2 makes any sense what so ever imo, researching the cargo cults of ww2 island natives helped me break my childhood religious programming for good as a late stage teen.
The new Mobile courthouse looks as though it has two giant owls staring from it. Hmmm. Also Gene DeCode has said that the Tartarian time was accidentally transposed over onto ours hence all the wacky wacky hurry up cover ups fires etc wars? Check out Amelia Island too in FL. Thank you for your wonderful presentations.
You should go to Pensacola Florida and check out Fort Pickens its only a couple of hours away, and it is a much bigger Fort. Mobile is one of my favorite places to visit , in fact the whole Gulf Coast is fun for a History buff.
To elaborate on the costumes during Mardi Gras, I’d like to say that we have the MOST secret societies in any city besides maybe New Orleans or the capitol cities.
Reconstruction was particularly tough on Mobile, so while Mobile was a large city pre-civil war, the union occupation and reconstruction after the battle of Mobile Bay were rather rough, with a "controversial" destruction of 7-9 square city blocks when a warehouse used to store captured munitions exploded in the downtown area.
11:59 I'm reminded of Dr Judy Wood's work: "Where did the Towers go?" Wheres the rubble/remains? Why is the tree still there? DEW? 14:20 reminiscent of the Liver Building in Liverpool, England (also a port).
Another excellent exploration of the South! I would like to request an exploration of Charleston, SC. It was a city within a star fort when Charles Town was founded in 1600s. Thank you
Your videos and Praveen Mohans videos are two of the only ones where im constantly going "HOLY SHIT!" While watching and looking at these old world structures. Bravo! 🏆 Also, you sir, are a master of sarcasm lol
I think the first brick making machine came along in 1858. Who made all the bricks for the star forts?? How many people did it take to produce the bricks since they must have been made by hand??? How were the millions of bricks transported??
Its interesting because when we were in Savannah Georgia February 2017, there were houses that were developed in squares, where the center of those squares had elaborate water fountains or well manicured landscaping, and the designs of the houses were supposedly regulated by the city. Several houses in 1 square were of colonial style, while another nearby square had french (new Orleans) style, then the next square had greek style, etc, etc.... It struck me as odd how the styles of homes were separated that way. And how so many different architecture styles were represented in one city. But that got me thinking when i saw the black and white rendering in this video of a town square park with a fountain.
Also, there's a massive Catholic Church there, very elaborate, and I betcha anything now that its an Old World Building: St. John the Baptist. That was my 1st experience going inside such a massive cathedral.... Going backwards in my memory using different eyes to resee what I once saw before with no knowledge=quite a different perspective now..
That's crazy. There's no way in hell they were building that with horse and wagon and there's always the question of where the hell the bricks were coming from.
I saw RUclips video about biggest gravestones stone block to carve toke 5 weeks carry by wagon back then I can’t imagine how long by boat if they survived seas storms.
That church (Basilica) says its built in 1711 on a plaque outside. I will try to find a pic for u, but I can tell u it’s beautiful!!!! If uve never visited Mobile, I urge u to! It’s beautiful & unique & the people are amazing! Go for Mardi Gras if u can!
Think of a star fort design as a real life giant analog sized microchip that was harnessing energy and distributing it to a whole area. These star forts where connected globally.
One may wonder if the actual builders of all those star forts and other lovely edifices would be so indecisive about whether the star forts are impregnable or obsolete. I'm sorry, I just watched your Death Shrines video and am still under impressions... I can't stop thinking about all the implications.
If the star forts were just about the wars, then why do we find them in areas where no conflicts were taking place? See the international list of star fort locations! What seems more probable is these were places affiliated with the Dutch West India Trading Company (VOC) and its international shipping routes.
24:25. The soldier has a shadow. However the direction his shadow is falling means the soldier should be standing in the fort’s shadows therefore making it impossible for him to have one.
I love how the RUclips view counts are now added to the channels without even refreshing the pages! Looks like the new A.I. software update is finally on the side of "truth"! Cheers
We m never knew how many factories or existed here and that all the buildings and homes are pre fabbed in factories. Also the cage topped buildings look like energy collectors?
I said, "As we fly over the current capitol of Alabama." @ 0:11. It was the first exploration I did in Alabama, and I wanted to highlight more of the state.
You stated that Mobile is the current capital of Alabama. That is wrong. "Following Cahawba and Tuscaloosa, Montgomery became Alabama's permanent capitol city. Spurred by Alabama’s expansion, in 1846 the state legislature chose Montgomery as the new capitol city moving it from Tuscaloosa in the west-central part of the state. Montgomery is actually the state's fifth capitol city." "Before Montgomery became the capital in 1846, four other places held the honor: St. Stephens, Huntsville, Cahawba and Tuscaloosa."
I never said Mobile was the capital, pay closer attention to the footage, watch again. I said "as we fly over the current capital of Alabama" as the footage of Montgomery is shown on the video.
Doing a bit of rudimentary tech artistry by overlaying one photo on top of the other, the Court Houses appear to be the same building, fancy in one and pared down in the other.
If there is a plaque or engravings on a structure trying to sell a date of construction and alledgedlly built in the 1800's than my personal opinion is that's a red flag...And also if the style of architecture is one of the so called "Revival" styles than that's another red flag...And finally if there is a fire or any issues where the said structure had to be rebuilt, restored or remodelled than that's another red flag...Now let's do the math 3 × Red flag's = Previous Civilisations Work
"Jebadiah... how about instead of shooting canons directly at fortified walls we back up, tilt the canons up to say 30°-45° and just keep pounding them?"
6:48 the metal work on buildings like this is a "lost" language. i wish i had better memory this popped up on my algorithm and i forgot to do a word search. another lost art attributed to master piece artist slaves kept in inhuman condition or as beloved pets depending on who you ask. masters of arts but not trusted to be members or society.
you and jarid boosters are the best in the business, I never cared for John levi channel to much, I love this stuff all the mystery. But I watched a video on you tube yesterday of this older stone sculpture man, this older man set up a time lapse camera and from start to finish on a piece of marble he made a really nice elaborate female statue in about 2 days with hammer and chisel, so that is kind of making me rethink this a little bit because Maybe we could have built these buildings I dont know what to think now
So much history in Mobile. Hard to believe how modern times has turned it into such a dump. It’s better known today for all of its sewer over run discharges every time it rains. Another one of Alabamas ghettos
Those duels, imagine if they happened now in the US? Politicians would try to out gaffe one another and military officers would try to out-PowerPoint one another. ;)
A "fire" destroying old World Buildings but with NO charring and NO ash. Resembles a bombing like the photos of many old World buildings bombed to obliteration in WWII....
Pierre Le Moyne D'Iberville and his brother Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne De Bienville are my 9x great granduncles. Your rendition of our history is off on many aspects. In 1702French colonist constructed Fort Louis de la Louisiane, at Twenty-seven Mile Bluff on the Mobile River, as the first capital of the French colony of La Louisiane. This was before New Orleans was organized as a French city. 2. Fort Conde/Charlotte, was never used in the Civil War, because " In 1818, the U.S. Congress authorized its sale to developers and demolition as it was no longer needed for defense." Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines are the forts used in the Civil War. It would behoove you to at least read from Wikipedia, which at least has the basic history of Mobile. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile,_Alabama#:~:text=Colonial,-Mobile%20and%20the&text=The%20European%20settlement%20of%20Mobile,French%20colony%20of%20La%20Louisiane.

I think the first brick making machine came along in 1858. Who made all the bricks for the star forts?? How many people did it take to produce the bricks since they must have been made by hand???
How were the millions of bricks transported??
Ill claim second. Love your vids!
👍
Was there when I lived in Pelham Alabama . Got to go thru the Battleship and the Submarine.
They usually are old world buildings. :)
I once saw something about they made bricks on site with mobile equipment and kilns.
When you get a chance, can you do Birmingham, AL???
Dude look into the correspondence between Ben Franklin and Pierre Samuel du Pont. Think you’ll find it interesting ❤️
DuPont.... the French connection. 🤺
Alabama is a beautiful state, that's why there are a lot of direct attempts to deter people from looking into it. :)
Think of a star fort design as a real life giant analog sized microchip that was harnessing energy and distributing it to a whole area. These star forts where connected globally.
Indeed, maybe even beyond the spatial limitations too but we will get to that when more are ready for it.
can we please get more videos on my great state of Alabama!
Sure, tell others to watch ;)
i really want a Restitutor Orbis hoodie. Buying one soon.
Have you done Katastan?
Not as of yet!
I like the one up in Canada. ;)
More bama vids pls!!!!!! Loving it
It only makes sense that Emmanuel Jean-Baptiste Zorg would have designs like that ...
The chimney and Fireplaces were only left didn’t burn huh interesting antiquetic technology to investigate.
24:25. The soldier has a shadow. However the direction his shadow is falling means the soldier should be standing in the fort’s shadows therefore making it impossible for him to have one.
All that remains of the original fort is literally a pile of bricks, the Conde you see now is a replica built in the 1976
I love how the RUclips view counts are now added to the channels without even refreshing the pages! Looks like the new A.I. software update is finally on the side of "truth"! Cheers
Well done. :)
😊
The cathedral Basilica (right side tower) was rebuilt because a plane hit it and crashed while training for WW2. The pilot died as a result.
Good thing everyone could make and lay bricks...
We m never knew how many factories or existed here and that all the buildings and homes are pre fabbed in factories.
Also the cage topped buildings look like energy collectors?
Or built to resemble them..
The first part of the video shows. Montgomery... I'll watch the rest..it looks. Cool.. I'm here, as a matter of fact and was born here..
I said, "As we fly over the current capitol of Alabama." @ 0:11. It was the first exploration I did in Alabama, and I wanted to highlight more of the state.
@Restitutor_Orbis_214 My. Bad..I was talking to with my. Dad, and didn't hear that.. Very Good Video .
It is all good, the state gets overlooked for its natural beauty.
LA , are You AI? youre too smart. Love the work brother you have an amazing brain
Nope I am not the MCP(Tron). ;)
I don't know why you included that little church. 8:51 That was probably just a weekend project.
20 minute special.
At 25:53 it looks like there's two faces in the brick/moss above the window/close to the ceiling. Anyone else see that?
Hey was that Eoy Clark at 3:48 lol
You stated that Mobile is the current capital of Alabama. That is wrong.
"Following Cahawba and Tuscaloosa, Montgomery became Alabama's permanent capitol city. Spurred by Alabama’s expansion, in 1846 the state legislature chose Montgomery as the new capitol city moving it from Tuscaloosa in the west-central part of the state. Montgomery is actually the state's fifth capitol city."
"Before Montgomery became the capital in 1846, four other places held the honor: St. Stephens, Huntsville, Cahawba and Tuscaloosa."
I never said Mobile was the capital, pay closer attention to the footage, watch again. I said "as we fly over the current capital of Alabama" as the footage of Montgomery is shown on the video.
@@Restitutor_Orbis_214 You are correct.
Just to be clear, Montgomery is the Capital City of Alabama. Mobile is its Port City.
Doing a bit of rudimentary tech artistry by overlaying one photo on top of the other, the Court Houses appear to be the same building, fancy in one and pared down in the other.
Id long presumed as such, In many places as well.
The courthouse was damaged during a hurricane.
If there is a plaque or engravings on a structure trying to sell a date of construction and alledgedlly built in the 1800's than my personal opinion is that's a red flag...And also if the style of architecture is one of the so called "Revival" styles than that's another red flag...And finally if there is a fire or any issues where the said structure had to be rebuilt, restored or remodelled than that's another red flag...Now let's do the math 3 × Red flag's = Previous Civilisations Work
ما هي حضارة القس جون.
I live in mobile. It sucks. Please send Gatorade and a decent public official
Pizza too.
"Jebadiah... how about instead of shooting canons directly at fortified walls we back up, tilt the canons up to say 30°-45° and just keep pounding them?"
That would be dirty pool, not playing fair.
But I watched a video on you tube yesterday of this older stone sculpture man, this older man set up a time lapse camera and from start to finish on a piece of marble he made a really nice elaborate female statue in about 2 days with hammer and chisel, so that is kind of making me rethink this a little bit because Maybe we could have built these buildings I dont know what to think now
Time lapse is an altered video. Keep that in mind. :)
My family is from here .
Chunchula Alabama Indians
So much history in Mobile. Hard to believe how modern times has turned it into such a dump.
It’s better known today for all of its sewer over run discharges every time it rains.
Another one of Alabamas ghettos
Arron Burr, shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel!
Those duels, imagine if they happened now in the US? Politicians would try to out gaffe one another and military officers would try to out-PowerPoint one another. ;)
251 is were I’m from
word...
A "fire" destroying old World Buildings but with NO charring and NO ash.
Resembles a bombing like the photos of many old World buildings bombed to obliteration in WWII....
Africa Town is noteworthy. Next to mobile.
Mobile isn’t the capital of Alabama, Montgomery is.
Where is it said in the video that Mobile is the capital? The opening footage is of Montgomery.
Alabama has lots of "melted brick" buildings all over the place!!
Gotta spot here at mouth St Johns 11 different style bricks.Come sea me you'll have a new best friend.
