  • Philippine-American Performing Arts of Greater Pittsburgh (PAPAGP)'s 7th Annual Dance Recital titled, "HALO-HALO" at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater: September 22, 2018
"Asik" is a solo dance performed by the umbrella-bearing attendant of the sultan's daughter to win the favor of the sultan. She dances and poses in doll-like motions.
"Singkil" takes the name from the brass bell anklets worn by the princess. The story follows a princess who is caught in a forest during an earthquake caused by fairies.
