An amazing performance, as always. Also, Floor's little happy sigh at the end was so cute ^_^
For me, it's one of their most underrated songs. Absolutely perfect composition, instrumentation, mood, Troy's multi-contribution, and of course Herself.
The Language is mostly Welsh with a couple of Cumbric words I think and the best translation I can give you is :
Sound of the fog
Smell of the forest moss
Granite and lichen under the moon

Tapestry of life
I knew Chels would love this one! I believe the opening is in Welsh. Troy isn't from Wales, he's from Workington in the NW of England, but as he can play anything I can believe he probably knows a bunch of languages too!
I see Nightwish, I click Like.
Name a feeling.......and sometime during listening through Nightwish's catalog...you will feel that feeling.
The endless different type of songs they bring, is AMAZING.

Those are uilleann pipes (Ireland) similar to bag pipes (Scotland.) Uilleann means elbow after their method of inflation. Loved the sound.
They're both _bag_ pipes because they both have bags of air. It's a family of instruments.
@@imrehundertwasser7094 Yes both bags of air, but Troy refers to his bag of air as Uilleann pipes. If you say Bag Pipe to the average citizen they will be thinking of men in kilts wearing tartan plaids, and tall black feathery hats. (At least that is what people in the USA would be thinking.)
@@davidhill7055 I think we can go at least one step further here than this "average citizen" you mention ...
The Big difference is that the bag isn't inflated by damp air from human lungs - this means that the (natural) reed in the instrument is stable and doesn't go out of tune. It also meals that the piper can sing whilst playing.

Great reaction guys, Nightwish has so many sounds and styles you never get bored, at least I don't. Most bands you listen to 3 or 4 songs, yep, I pretty much know how this is gonna go, not with Nightwish.

I think a lot of people think the opening lines are Welsh but as a fellow Englishman I know Troy comes from Cumbria (North Eastern England) and knowing him, I would imagine it might be Gaelic?! Perhaps our NW army Welsh fans will let us know! Great reaction as always 👍.

That was Finnish as this is a Finnish crowd. Tampere is in Finland, Nightwishes home country except for The Goddess, she is from the Netherlands.

This is one of their only songs that I like. I'm not really a Nightwish fan but I do like this song. Really the only songs that I like by Nightwish are the ones when Annette was the singer.

This and Elan are their best post Tarja songs for sure! Have you guys ever seen "Ever Dream" from the End of Era concert? Tarja and Marco had an absolutely amazing harmony together.

My favourite post Tarja Nightwish songs are The Poet and the Pendulum, Cadence of Her Last Breath, Master Passion Greed, Shudder Before the Beautiful, Weak Fantasy, The Greatest Show on Earth, Music, Shoemaker, Tribal, Endlessness, The Green, Quiet as the Snow, and Anthropocene.
