Never realized that she was a chick until I spoke with Nega afterwards. The Masculine German accent I used in my head was so strong that it feels weird after learning.
Same! I didn’t think to use a German accent for Trace, but one of my scientist characters has a slight German accent so I think it would fit Trace too ^^
Sounds like a Halloween electro swing. Fitting for a junkyard (aka a robot graveyard) and a nurse turned undead-robot-resurrector. I love each Circuit’s theme! 😁🙏
I played Trace's stage first, and you know what? She's such a good introduction to how hard the bosses are gonna go. Also how hard THE MUSIC is gonna go. Criminy. I don't think there's a single bad track on this OST.
1:18 - "Who-oa, here she comes! Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up! Who-oa, here she comes! She's a maneater!" Am I the only one hearing this? Awesome track!
@@XIfan420 Considering there is an official gif that shows Trace under a mistletoe with a blushing emote, while the other character under it (Bit the Shift circuit) is either too scared or nervous to approach her, the idea that she would bad with romance makes a lot of sense.
I made the mistake of picking this stage first and boy was it nothing but pain. Trying to get the hang of the grapple during those liquid-dripping sections absolutely destroyed me for nearly half an hour. Not to mention I didn't get into the habit of constantly sprinting until AFTER this stage, so I made many jumps and obstacles way harder than necessary. All this to say that this amazing theme made me keep my patience throughout my struggles and I was able to enjoy this stage regardless. Coming back to it after all the other stages, I find it to be a blast now. Love this game.
Don't feel bad. I did my first run of the game without dashing at all because it never occurred to me there might be a dash button and I never tried the triggers (playing on Switch) and when I actually looked at the controls I felt dumb as hell. Made my second run a lot easier. 😂
I also didn't sprint often during these levels but on purpose. I just thought the slower I progress the longer I can listen to the awesome soundtrack of this game.
Dominic Ninmark, you *GENIUS,* you. That sting towards the end of Patch Circuit's intro, *AND* the main theme itself, has *"traces"* of Simon Belmont's theme from Super Castlevania 4! I can't believe you'd do something like that. Kai as Simon Belmont, and Trace as Dracula / Alucard (or a similar vampire, in line with the Castlevania vibes). Well done, good sir! 👏👏👏😆
I just got Gravity Circuit for my final steam summer sale game this year. Looking forward to playing through it. Giving me megaman vibes which is up in my alley. :D
You have such a unique style and I could not love it more, I can get absolute bangers from a few other artists but only from you can I get absolute bangers that sound like this Phenomenal job on this as always, Dominic, your music just never disappoints!
Idk any music terms, but I like how it sounds like a graveyard and a junkyard... which I suppose makes sense lol, given the stage. Plus those industrial beats and the spooky instruments...
So I just beat her stage and yup I said HER. I’ve got no issue about trace being female it’s just after seeing Melodys design the reveal just kinda caught me off guard
Me too man. Used a Masculine voice with a German Accent and when I learned afterwards is was very off putting. Not a bad thing though. Made me like Her more.
@@Sb_Antimony While I think it would make sense considering that there are many characters in the game who have one eye covered by hair, their helmet or are winking, but Trace never opens her eye in any of her sprites (not even when she's supposed to be angry) and the eye's design is more similair to the ones of the Ark stage 1 boss and the final boss, both of which have a clearly damaged eye.

bought it yesterday :)
love your music
The gated reverb on those drums is so fucking crisp!
The fact this goes for the full cartoon spookiness feeling just makes this perfect. It's just fantastic.
Never realized that she was a chick until I spoke with Nega afterwards. The Masculine German accent I used in my head was so strong that it feels weird after learning.
Maybe she still would canonically use a masculine German accent lol

I love Trace's theme. It's simultaneously chill and spooky, the music really pushed me to explore all of the junkyard stage
Always loved the whole "junkyard with zombie robots" trope. Mad at myself for not picking her stage sooner in my first playthrough.

When the "G" falls off the Graveyard sign
I approve good sir!!!!
Fuor half-steps, a full step, and then three more half-steps.
That pattern reminds me of an engine struggling to turn-over. Very fitting.

I can’t unhear it! 😂🤣
More like a *CIRCUIT* eater. 😆

Try it in the laptop instead joystick 😂
Just swap your sprint controls to inverse: you always sprint by default and have to hold the button to walk if you want to (you don't).
@@EchidnaKida Nice! I didn't know that. Thanks!

This made me realize I love it when junkyard levels are pretty much robot graveyards with a necromancer in charge.

Trace is like the Morph Moth of the game.
Hoping Dominic could upload Blazing Chrome OST
Trace seems more like Metal Shark Player given their ability to resurrect enemies
@jokelethkurueisner9229 That too.
Hang on - he's behind Blazing Chrome's OST as well?!
@@SaviourV Yup
I call her ghost nurse, a friendly nickname
First stage I chose, loved the spooky vibes. I'm just utterly thrilled to be playing something with your music in it
Trace is probably my 2nd favourite circuit design and 1st in personality, tge scientist and ghost aesthetic mesh together so well

2:43 I love the MM Starforce vibes. It just works perfectly.
When we're going to have these bangers on Spotify??
The swing on that bass
Such a good game
Love the start!
WOOO! YEA BABY! THATS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR, THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!!
Trace is back from axiom verge :)
Another Masterpiece. 🔊
This is Strikey Sisters as hell!

YEY PATCH CIRCUIT:DDDD
Didn't know Trace was a girl :0
i like the beginning before the real song even started
Should have been the toughest boss...
A patch job is usually done by a master coder who does into make it fail-safe, thus to make their name known.
Trace smacks!
Dancin
hi trace axiom verge
I recently bought that game but haven’t played it yet, it looks really cool ^^
i just noticed
why is trace's right eye like that
Why fix it when you can just continue to work of your army?
I think she might be winking
